Lagoon was perfect but lack of amanities.
No tooth brush, toothpaste, shampoo and slippers, so you should bring them. Wifi sucks, not good for business trip. I found many ants on my underwear which was in the wardrobe. Lagoon was perfect to relax. It is so near. Meals were okay.

Der Garten und die Anlage sind einfach toll. Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail arrangiert und hergerichtet. Da Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr nettes Personal in allen Bereichen. Jeden Tag ein anders Motto beim Essen (14 Tage). Auch am Abend sehr ruhig und gemütlich an der Pool-Bar. Wir konnten problemlos die Zimmer mit AI 2 Stunden verlängern.

An Oasis in El Gouna
The hotel facilities are great, we really enjoyed and our children too! The breakfast buffet has everything you need to start the day. The pool is not very big but it’s nice and the pool bar is really good too serving both drinks and food as well! There’s a small boat to go to Zaytona beach which while not great, it’s good enough. Based on this hotel it’s easy to go Sahl Hasheesh or Soma Bay for a day trip and enjoy everything the Red Sea has to offer. For a family it is very safe for the children to explore and have fun so the parents can also enjoy. El Gouna town is a short walk and had many shops and restaurants where very kind and nice people awaits your visit. Would recommend 100%

Echt ein gemütliches Hotel in Toller Strand-Lage! Das Hotel hat uns einen Privaten Shuttle vom Flughafen zum Hotel und zurück organsiert. Alle Zimmer sind ähnlich Groß, es gibt also keine Suite oder Familienzimmer daher fallen 3-Bett Zimmer recht klein Aus. Ist aber ausreichend. Die betten und das Beistell-Klappbett sind relativ neu und sehr gemütlich. Das Badezimmer ist geräumig. Mängel oder Beanstandungen wurden unkompliziert und sofort umgesetzt. Ein Kühlschrank der nicht funktioniert hat wurde in 10 Minuten ausgetauscht- danke-Toll Grundsätzlich könnten Kleinigkeiten erneuert werden aber im großen und ganzen ist es stilvoll und funktional eingerichtet. Wir hatten All-In, was jedoch noch das typische ALL-IN in Ägypten entspricht. Die Hauptmahlzeiten sind sehr hochwertig und kein Kantinen Essen! JEDOCH ist das Getränkeangebot eingeschränkt und nicht zu jeder Zeit an jedem Ort wirkliches ALL IN SO gibt es am Zeytona Beach nur eingeschränkt Soft getränke und ein mini Angebot an schnellen Speisen wie Pommes, Pizza Stücken, Fast Food. Bier-Wein-Cocktails sind hier nicht INKL. in der Zeit von 10:00 - 12:30 und 14:30-19:00 gibt es keine Speisen auf der gesamten Anlage OBST UND EIS kostet Extra. Die Pool Bar ist bis 24:00 Uhr geöffnet- Leider ist hier das Personal sehr unfreundlich und genervt sobald Gruppen ab 4 Personen Getränke Wünsche äußern und auch mal zwei oder mehr Cola zur liege tragen möchten.

We are so glad we went with Sultan Bey after shopping around a bit. The all inclusive was totally worth it, everyday there was a new delicious cocktail. There was always a shady spot at the pool bar or the pool or the beach area. Access to Zeytouna beach was a big bonus. Absolutely gorgeous, and only a very short boat ride away. And the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We'd love to make it back someday!

Despite its name, it isn't all-inclusive. The A/C wasn't working great, and there wasn't enough lighting in the room. The best thing about the hotel is the flowers and view outside. Breakfast was nice too. The area is dead though, maybe because of corona, but we seemed like the only ones at the hotel. Front office staff was nice and accommodating of our needs. But wouldn't rebook this same hotel.

Hotel war klein und gemütlich und übersichtlich !
Das Hotel war schön, Service war gut , Personal war freundlich! Leider hatten wir Durchfall und Krämpfe ab dem 3 Tag hat uns leider den ganzen Urlaub begleitet. Konnten daher unseren Urlaub nicht richtig genießen!

Quirky, comfortable hotel well placed in Downtown
The hotel was comfortable with a spacious room, a terrace and good views of the lagoon. The food was varied and of good quality. The pool and public toilet areas were very clean and well looked after. There were enough sunbeds for everyone. The staff could not do enough to help, even bringing a kettle and mugs at 11.30 at night! We were able to have a relaxing stay with easy access to Downtown and to the marinas by taxi or tuk-tuk.

Nice small hotel, food is good staff are awesome.
I have stayed 5 nights at this hotel, staff are very friendly, food is good. It's very quiet environment, to reach the beach you have to ride a boat for 10 minutes. No entertainment at all!!!. There is a perfume store at the beach don't ever buy from it, products are terrible and the guy run the store is so rude and a thief, he have stolen 600 Egyptian pounds from my sister that she forgot at the store and he claimed that he never saw her money.

Angenehmes Hotel
Gutes Hotel mit dem Flair Ägyptens. Zimmer sauber, immer frische Handtücher. Hotelanlage sehr gepflegt. Das Essen mit war auch sehr gut.. Es gab im Großen und Ganzen nix zu meckern !!

Excellent location
El Gouna itself is a beautiful place and Sultan Bay has one of the best locations that we saw. The lagoon view rooms are amazing. I thought that the room size was smaller than what we expected but it was sufficient nonetheless. We were there on a holiday with our 2 year old and I think he enjoyed his stay more than we did. The only issue was that they couldn't give us a double (king sized) bed in the room. That was the only blip in an otherwise excellent stay.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel
The shower in my room was terrible, water was out a couple of times while I was showering also you would get surges of really hot water every 40 secs, it was really annoying! Hotel music was very loud, me and my wife would wake up every morning at 7:30 AM. Overall cleanliness and quality is poor, my bed sheet had 2 holes the size of a tennis ball. The food was ok (breakfast only). This is definitely not a 4 star hotel for me.

It's a nice hotel , it has a nice beach , nice views , it's location is perfect as its in Elgouna down town and 5min away from elmarina. I've visited most of the 5stars hotels in ElGouna and I find Sultan bey one of the best hotels there, I enjoyed it so much

It was a nice hotel, i am really recommending, however my concern is about the food has no much variety and not that nice. Staff are very friendly, cleaning is very good, you can find support if you need at anytime.

Schönes einfaches Hotel
Anreise war Nachts um zwei, sowohl der Transfer als auch der Check in liefen Reibungslos, wir wurden schon erwartet. Hatten ein Doppelbettzimmer gebucht, was wir durch zusammenstellen der beiden Betten auf Nachfrage auch bekommen haben. Das Zimmer war ruhig, 2.Stock zum Innenhof gelegen. Die Einrichtung gut und auf ordentlichem Standard, die Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen sehr hoch. Bis auf eine Ausnahme waren die Nächte ruhig, aber die lauten Partygäste wurden vermutlich vom Hotelpersonal bald zu mehr Ruhe angehalten. Das Publikum war gemischt, viele Deutsche und Niederländer, doch einige Arabische oder Ägyptische Gäste, wenig Briten oder Russen. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht, das Buffet war reichlich und mit guter Auswahl, empfindliche Speisen gut gekühlt und beinhaltete auch einem warmen Teil sowie eine Omlette Station. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, wir haben uns auf Englisch und manchmal auf Deutsch verständigt. Das Buffet am Abend haben wir nur einmal Zugebucht, relativ teuer aber gut. Pool und Strand sind nett, haben wir aber nicht viel genutzt.

Sultan Bey Hotel, El Gouna, Egypt
The Sultan Bey Hotel is basic but clean. However, they state that they wish to conserve water - but there are no plugs for the sinks in the bathroom! The breakfast fare has improved somewhat but such a shame that they serve "Tang" instead of fresh juices. It is not a hotel for those with any disability - stairs, stairs and more stairs. But it is fine for a short stay and the gardens are glorious. The staff are courteous. It is a few minutes' walk to the main restaurants and shops so ideally situated. A pleasant stay.
