Una excavadora estuvo estacionada en mi camino de entrada todo el día 26 de febrero de 2024 desde el Municipio para ayudar en la construcción de la carretera que ahora se encuentra en el km 9,25. El progreso a veces es doloroso.La posibilidad de que haya moscas en nuestras habitaciones del área de la jungla es posible; sin embargo, un simple consejo a nuestro personal habría resultado en un rociado rápido para matarlas.Le agradecemos su reserva de nuestra habitación básica privada a 65,00 por noche, impuestos incluidos y desayuno caliente. La habitación que se describe como entrada al jardín, cama doble con baño, aire acondicionado, ducha de agua caliente es perfecta para muchos viajeros que desean una piscina, proximidad a la playa y traslados colectivos públicos económicos al West End. Esta es la única habitación disponible para reservas de 1 noche.

We are glad you enjoyed our location. Our Honduran staff deserves time with family and that is why we provide them with quality days off. Our rooms are well stocked and maintained and we do ask guests to communicate if anything is missed or needed. We hope to see you again one day!

This guest did not provide any comments to the rating. They booked our ECONOMY BASIC ROOM which has a Double Bed and Bathroom for 43.00 per night. This couple was travelling and had a couple of misfortunes. They crashed their scooter which had no horsepower on the hill at the parking area of the hotel. I believe this made their weekend terrible. The responsibility of the property does not extend to persons driving abilities or rental of poor machines. Bearing this in mind we did reach out however they claimed they were fine. Their rate of 42.00 per night included breakfast, air conditioning and hot water. They skipped breakfast the first day and did join us the second morning for a hot meal and coffee. The travellers were from United States of America and I feel that perhaps they should have choosen a high end room rather than the economy basic room as their standards appeared higher and may have appreciated a top floor unit.

The false notes here are disturbing. My staff (3) full time, and myself kept vigil on your reservation of which you never appeared for at all. The room booked was the Double Bed Economy room for 4 nights. We all questioned why the check in never appeared. My comments to my staff were that often times guests will arrive late off the last ferry. No one showed at all.We have specific signage on our building Reception Entrance, at the office. Our Restaurant and Bar with Pool area, which is at the central point of our property was occupied with guests until 8 pm. We do not know what your intent is for such a distast on our well kept and managed property but it is not in good faith. Other reviews show the quality of our property.

Hi Jorge, We appreciate your extended holiday. Roatan is an island of exploration and within .5 of our driveway are 6 popular tourist attractions. 1. Petting Zoo, 2. Zip Line 3. Dolphin Park 4. Carambola Garden Mountain Hike 5. Snorkel Tour 6. Scuba Diving. The Village of West End is 2.5 km to the entrance We hope next time you can visit some of those locations! Most are on Google Maps. Hi Alex, Thank you for your review. You booked your reservations weeks before arrival date. You arrived at night in the dark and at the moment mentioned you brought another adult and maybe they could sleep on the couch, an 80 year old woman. We do not have a couch in the queen view room you booked. We provided your added guest with a single bed, bedding and towels and we did charge 40 per night for that. The room rate you booked was the economy advertised rate and did not include breakfast, we charged for the 3 breakfast consumed over the 3 days. Only 3. You asked for a stock pot to make a seafood dish. We provided this. A further request was for 2 Eco Friendly To Go Boxes for your cooked food. We provided 2 and charged you for one. My total interraction time with you in 3 days was roughly 30 minutes. Finally we do not have or advertise that we offer televisions in our rooms. We provide free wifi at the bar area. I am not sure how we were to become friends in 30 minutes. I am busy with a fully occupied hotel with limited staff to keep our rates reasonable. We do urge readers to read all reviews. We welcome visitors from everywhere around the world and are well reviewed.

Greetings from Guava Grove. My apologies on your one night stay reservation that was not ideal. I had a family emergency which took me off island. Normally I operate my business however in this instance I had my maintenance man 'watching the fort'. I will be requesting you get a refund from Expedia. I am just getting back to business now. I have not collected via Expedia so this should be a simple process.

Guava Grove pool which is 40 ft long x 20 ft wide x 10 ft in deep end with 7 seat swim up pool bar in shallow end is scheduled to be refinished September 10 thru 20 at which time the hotel will be closed. This is a huge project which we undertake every 2 years. The economy double bed with private bathroom that you booked comes with free WIFI, Air Conditioning and Hot Water. The advertising does not state that the room has TV. The property is located hillside in a gorgeous garden/jungle setting and no where do we advertise that we are on the beach. We do not mispresent our property as guests need to be satisfied with their choice. We urge all prospective guests to read all of our reviews to get an idea of Guava Grove. Roatan has a vast selection of entertainment and activities and faith-based activities which keep bringing guests back to Guava Grove and the Island itself. Never has anyone said they are bored. We look forward to hosting all future guests.
