This is mature family-run property where they have figured out what works well in a tropical salt-air environment and what does not. So while it is not a glitzy new boutique resort, it also doesn't have the "Christmas afternoon" problems that result when spiffy new stuff meets salt-laden air. It's just clean, and they after things for you when you need it. They're also not just accepting of you patronizing restaurants in the adjoining small resorts, but encourage it. Relax and chill, you won't be made to feel like the hostage of a rich people's ghetto!

This is the place to stay on Roatan. An awesome pool, access to the ocean and a dive shop all on the premises. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. Great rooms with A/C and TV. Best of all, reasonably priced.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful here, and the property was in a nice quiet area, but just a few minutes' walk from the hustle and bustle of West End. We would stay here again!

This was a very comfortable, clean and friendly environment. Just off the busy Westend which has a wonderful local interaction. The pool is great, the snorkeling off the resort is amazing, and we absolutely loved the friendly staff.

Seagrapes Plantation….a pleasant escape.
The service and location of Seagrapes Plantation is excellent. The staff is very accommodating and the ownership is excellent.

I enjoyed my stay at the Seagrape Plantation Resort. The room was spacious and outfitted really well for my needs. I used the on-site dive shop and that was okay too regardless of the weather conditions happening at the time. The only minus about the property that I encountered was after getting back from the Scuba dive there was no chance for lunch on-site eventhough it was before the 2:00 PM cutoff time. There was also an island-wide electrical power outage due to the tropical storm occurring, so off-resort dining was the only option. Only certain restaurants with backup generators were able to operate, which were overcrowded due to limited availability elsewhere. Overall, this was a good place to stay. The staff were very friendly and assisted me with all my needs.

This was my second stay as a senior solo traveller. Accommodation are safe and clean and the breakfast was always tasty, big thanks to Judith who was always in a great mode serving breakfast ❤️ this is a wonderful family run resort everyone is always happy to see me. Will definitely be back for some great sunset pictures. Easy 4 minute walk right to the heart of the west end.

Only stayed here one night. Everything was pretty good, staff is friendly… my only dislike was the breakfast that was included, it just wasn’t enjoyable. But it’s a close walk to town so you can walk to have food anywhere else. 9/10 would still recommend.

This is definitely an old school resort property. Don’t expect shiny new fixtures and high-end hotel amenities. The hotel has lovely grounds with many tropical plants, hummingbirds, iguanas, etc. The dive shop is super convenient, and the people are very friendly and competent. It’s a short 10 minute walk to the west end village with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. Plenty to keep you entertained for a week. would definitely go back seems to be a great value relative to other properties.

The room was clean and large. The AC needed some work as our room was pretty warm until late at night even with it up full blast. The beds were uncomfortable but that could be just a personal issue with us based on our personal likes. Breakfast was ok but at least it was provided. Swimming pool was VERY nice and the view from it was beautiful. The resort was VERY quiet which was also nice. Overall we enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed our 6 days at Seagrape Plantation. Wonderful friendly staff. The Bungalow room was very nice. Everything was very clean and the staff did a great job of cleaning and making up the room every day. The Resort is about a 3 to 10 minutes walk to town depending where you are going. You can snorkel off the pier in front of the Resort but you need to stay very close to the rocky shore because of the boat traffic. The grounds are nicely landscaped with native tropical flowers and plants. The breakfast was so-so but adequate. Overall - it was a great place.

Seagrape Plantation is in the perfect location! It's quiet, right on the ocean, offers tasty island food, has friendly and accommodating staff, and is extremely clean. The food at the restaurant is delicious! It is a quick walk away from the local shops and restaurants. The staff at Seagrape will arrange any excurstions for you or help you with anything you need. Seagrape Plantation is the perfect place to stay in Roatan!

Peaceful oasis
This place truly feels like an oasis! It is tucked away from the bustling streets but only a short walk if you're looking for lively entertainment in West End. The daily breakfasts were amazing by Miriam and her team, and always provided with a genuine smile! The facilities and rooms were always clean, wifi was great, there was air conditioning, cable TV, a fridge and you have a pool overlooking the ocean. It was truly a peaceful experience and so comfortable I didn't need to explore anywhere else on some days. Mariella was also a wonderful host to provide recommendations outside of the resort.
