Das ist unsere schlimmste Aufenthalt in Istanbul alles voll mit Schimmel & dreck leider kann ich keine bilder hier senden wen das die Hygiene Behörde sehen würde währe das motel schon längst geschlossen ins zimmer müssten wir erst mal 50 treffen hoch mit den Koffern & niemand hat uns geholfen in der Nacht spuckte etwas im gang herum die lichter flatterten & man hörte Geräusche vom Personal wurden wir angeschrien & sie sagte zu uns „SUUUSSS“ bedeut soviel wir halt deine Fresse mit einer agressiven stimme also nicht zum empfehlen!!!!!

Die Bilder entsprechend keines Wegs die Realität vor Ort. Es ist unhygienisch, da die Handtücher nur alle 3 Tage gewechselt werden, Schimmel sich an Wänden und in der Dusche befinden. Keine Sicherheit gehabt, da ein Zahnstocher im Sicherungskasten reingesteckt wurde, damit der Schalter nicht fliegt. Reinster Horror.

Das Otel ist in einer sehr armen und elenden Gegend. Uns kam es vor, als ob die Straßen viele Jahre nicht gesäubert wären. Im Otel gab es keinen Aufzug. Wir mussten mit unseren Koffern bis zu dritten Etage. Der Hotelinhaber war nett. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sehr klein. Im Zimmer gab es keinen Fenster nach draußen. Es gab ein Fenster, das ins Treppenhaus zeigte und nicht geöffnet werden konnte. Die Betten und Handtücher rochen start nach Seife. Zum Frühstück gab es nur das Nötigste. Wir füllten uns insgesamt Fehl am Platz, so dass vor vorzeitig, nach einer Übernachtung abgereist waren.

Rude Staff
As the rate is cheap, i went with minimum expectations. The hotel is 50/50, for this rate the property quality is understandable. However staff is extremely rude. Have never seen such kind of behaviour.

Die Lage ist zentral aber es ist in einer unangenehmen Umgebung, wenn man eine Frau ist fühlt man sich unangenehm und unsicher allein zu sein. Es entspricht nicht die europäischen Standorts, die Sauberkeit fehlt gewaltig. Das personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Semt biraz varoş ama otelin konforu fiyatına göre fena değil. Bir de otel siteleri üzerinden rezervasyon yapmadığınız zaman evlenme cüzdanı sormaları hem yasal değil hem de saçma.. Bir de balkonlu oda veriyoruz size diyorlar ama balkon kilitli ve çıkamıyorsunuz. Sebebini sorduğunuzda da otel politikası diye saçma bir cevap vermeleri de çok saçmaydı bence.. Bunları bilmeniz lazım eğer bu otelde konaklama düşünüyorsanız..

KaupunkiNäkymä = muuri. 32 neliötä = n. 10 neliötä. Kylpytakki-ei. Minibaari = toimimaton pieni jääkaappi jota ei kahden pyynnönkään jälkeen ei korjattu. 24h huonepalvelu = respa sanoi että menee nukkumaan puolilta öin. Jos jää meikkiä pyyheeseen maksaa 25 liraa lisää kun ei voi kuulemma pestä...?

Информация о стандартном номере,предоставленная на сайте НЕ ВЕРНАЯ,граничащая с Мошенничеством!!! По факту: 1.Площадь номера 22 кв.м !!! с Видом на стену,расположенную на расстоянии 4 метра от окна. И это не самый отчаянный вариант,ведь есть Стандартные номера с видом из окна в ....Коридор!!! 2.Холодильник(супер мини) не работал,заменили через 2 дня. 3.Крайне Неудобные раковина для умывания и ванная кабинка.Подводка к душу сломана,течет(так и не починили).Халатов НЕТ. 4.Стола НЕТ. Стульев НЕТ. 5.Из освещения в номере присутствует 2 прикроватных ночника(бра) и ...ВСЕ!! 6.Кондиционер есть,но воспользоваться им Невозможно,пульт просто Не дают!!! 7.Отопление практически отсутствует.Батарее едва теплые.

Also als ich im Hotel angekommen bin habe ich nicht das bei Expedia gewünschte Zimmer erhalten, musste für ein ähnliches Zimmer Vorort zuzahlen damit ich überhaupt das bekomme was ich schon bezahlt habe, laut Hotel hat Expedia nicht die Information weitergeben das ich zwei Einzel Betten haben möchte eine Frechheit. Ich werde nie wieder in diese Hotel gehen , und über Expedia werde ich auch nicht buchen.Ich fühle mich über den Tisch gezogen,einfach nur traurig das man nicht das bestätigte erhält, ich habe dies Vorort am Hotel gesagt aber weil alles auf deutsch war und die Vorort nur Türkische oder etwas englisch könnten wurde mir gesagt machen sie das mit Expedia aus und wer zahlt mir jetzt meine 30€ zurück die ich zu viel gezahlt habe ? Die ich aus zwei geründen gezahlt habe 1. Kein anderes Hotel frei in der Nähe. 2. Es war kurz vor Mitternacht Flug war verspätet gelandet. Ich will meine 30€ zurück!!!!!!!!!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM ANY OFFERS OF THIS HOTEL. We were literally kicked out of the hotel the first evening we arrived, without ANY explanation whatsoever. Even when Expedia spoke to the hotel management, the management of the hotel gave them no explanation. In Istanbul we had to find a first hotel that had a room available and paid way more than we would have if we booked another hotel on Expedia. Book your stay at Monarch Hotel only if you are adventurous and you want to find out what it feels like to be kicked out of a hotel on your arrival to Istanbul. Another thing, in the hotel description it is indicated that the staff of the hotel is multilingual. This is a lie. They do not speak any other language than Turkish, and very likely poor Turkish also (because we had Turks from Expedia communicate with them and they could not get any answers). Once again, stay away from this hotel. If I could I would give them a negative 10 out of 10. My serious advice to Expedia is to remove the listing of this hotel from their website.

Отличный отель за умеренную плату (цена-качество)
Перед тем как выбрать этот отель, ознакомился с массой отзывов о нём. Честно говоря, сомнения присутствовали при его бронировании.Но когда поселился в отель, понял, что отзывам верить не всегда можно. Отель оказался на удивление хорошим, с отличным месторасположением, в номере ежедневно проводилась качественная уборка, было комфортно, уютно и удобно. Большой плюс - рядом с отелем находится множество недорогих кафе, где можно отлично перекусить. Район тихий, спокойный. Остановки метро, автобусов недалеко. Очень доволен! Спасибо владельцам и работникам отеля за гостеприимство и отзывчивость. В следующий раз обязательно остановлюсь в этом отеле опять, и другим советую. Кроме того, цена при бронировании номера приятно удивила.

Dette hotellet var ganske liten og trang. Ikke alle rommene hadde varmt vann, og ikke alle rommene hadde unvendige vindu. Jeg byttet rom 3 ganger. Men det siste rommet ble jeg fornøyd med. Var ren, stor og hadde varmt vann og vindu. Synes servicen var bra, siden de gjorde alt for å få meg til å bli fornøyd. En ting til. INGEN kunne engelsk. Google translate er en mulighet.

Sehr freundliche Personal, sehr zentral ,sehr gute Verbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln alle Richtungen oder 10.min.zu Fuß zu blaue Moschee Topkapi oder Kapali bazar .viel günstiges essen und Geschenke als in andere Stadtteile Istanbul. Hotel ist keine 5 ☆ aber dafür verbingst du sehr günstig Urlaub in Istanbul .

el hotel tiene una ubicación perfecta. Su barrio parece ser peligroso pero no hay peligro alguno sobretodo si se trata de estar para dormir y basta . El único fallo que encontramos fue el almuerzo que es bastante pobre y o que hay no es acertado para comer al ddespertar. De todos modos contentos de haber estado allí

Worst hotel in Istanbul
Unfortunately we had a bad experience at monarch hotel. On arrival our taxi driver got lost numerous times, when we said we are not paying for the full fare he made a scene and then went inside to try and get the hotel to charge us more for the room so he could get the money out of us that way, which they did. Lucky I had proof of payment for the extra bed. When the taxi driver tried to take my father outside to fight him I just gave him the extra cash to get him out. Everyone that night was on the taxi drivers side. To turn the lights off in our room we had to take the card out of the socket, which meant we had no power or air conditioning that night. We didn't bother asking to fix it. The room also stank like a sewer. The next morning we asked for a map of istanbul, they of course had none. Unfortunately I had already booked and payed the same hotel for the end of our tour around Turkey, and when we got to the hotel late at night there was troubles again. There was no extra bed in the room, the bed had been layed in, there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts next to the bed and food in the fridge and rubbish in the bins. The young lad on who was new put me and my sister in a new room and put my dad in another room free of charge. When I asked him what time checkout was he had no idea. The next day the owner tried to charge us for the extra room, but when I showed him my proof of paying for the extra bed he backed off. When we left he told us to rate his hotel 10/10.

good value for the money
Really good value for the money. Nice staf, most of them could speak English. some problems with the warm water. It's not in the most touristy area so taxis can have a hard time finding it. But it's walking distance to the subway

Great location, excellent hotel, nice staff
Location of this hotel is great, area is really nice, colourful and there's everything you can think of. It's also cheaper because it's less touristy. Great transport connections too. We were lucky to be on the 4th floor facing the Bosphorus- the best view of Istanbul I've had.

Bei Ankunft Abends konnte keiner Englisch. Das Viertel in dem das kleine Hotel liegt ist nicht die schickste. Als Frau allein fühl ihc mich da Abends / Nacht nicht wohl. Sonst war es Tagsüber intressant ein "Arbeiterviertel" zu sehen. Hotelteam hat gepasst und Frühstück war auch in Ordung. Die Lage ist gut man hat nicht weit zu der Altstadt und die Metro ist auch gleich in der Nähe.

First put me in a room that the door wouldn't lock at all. Then put me in a room occupied by another guest. Then gave me a keycard that wouldn't work on the third room. Finally got a manual key for the third room on the fourth attempt to check in. Once I got in this room the bed was located right in the middle of the room occupying the full width, so that I literally had to crawl over the bed to get to the far half of the room with the closet. Also, the shower stall was partially disassembled when I got into the room such that the door had about a 2 inch gap. When trying to call my airport shuttle before leaving I learned that the room phones cannot call outside of the building. Also the front desk wouldn't let me use the main phone for this quick local call and could not tell me where any nearby pay phones were. Their advice was to ask at some of the other hotels on the street.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen.
Lage in Bezug auf Entfernung zu Sehenswürdigkeiten zwar ok, dafür aber relativ heruntergekommende Umgebung. Gerade spätes Heimkommen als Pärchen absolut nicht schön. Dazu kam, dass die Rezeption nachts nihct besetzt war und wir an einem Abend (ca. 1 Uhr nachts) vor verschlossener Tür standen und erst nach 5min reingelassen wurden. Am darauffolgenden Abend ( 3 Uhr) wieder verschlossene Türen. Diesmal wurden wir überhaupt nicht hinein gelassen. Das Gute war, dass sich die Schiebetüren von außen aufziehen ließen, was auch beim auschecken sehr hilfreich war, da die Rezeption auch um 7 Uhr morgens noch nicht besetzt war und wir den Flieger kriegen mussten. Ansonsten wurde stark geraucht im Hotel, was man auch in den Zimmern roch. Klodeckel war in der Mitte gebrochen, WC nicht richtig sauber, zig Löcher in den Badezimmerwänden ... ich breche an der Stelle ab. Schlicht und einfach nicht empfehlenswert. Auch wenn es günstig war, so bekommt man für das gleiche Geld in anderen Hotels mehr geboten. Schade. Die Stadt ist ansonsten toll und die Menschen sehr hilfsbereit.
