I liked the room but it was super cold when we went in, clean and comfy. Elevators smelled like vomit. Breakfast bad: cardboard omelets, they ran out of pancakes at 8:30, didn’t have any when we left at 9:30 still Walking to the car was blasted with steam.

Our check in person was a C- at best. Unfriendly. And our keys didn’t work requiring us to go back down to her for a redo The elevator had a horrific smell in there the entire time we were there (thankfully only day and one night) They had two air fresheners inside elevator but that didn’t help.

Convenient on 13, reasonable price—but uncomfortable, unwelcoming. This Holiday Inn Express brand I had come to associate with new-ish buildings near a rural interstate, super comfortable with a friendly vibe. This Ithaca one was nothing like that, and so it disappointed me. Felt like they used the brand to pull me in, but didn’t deliver. Felt almost seedy in comparison.

The best thing was the beds; they were very comfortable with ample pillows. There was something strange with the light switches. There was a primary switch that turned ALL of the lights off in the main area. If it was on, there were ceiling lights that were on and couldn't be turned off. Because of this, you couldn't have a reading light on at one bed without having the full-room light on. This made it difficult as I wanted to read for a bit while others in the room wanted to sleep. It was unusual. Otherwise find for a one-night stay.

We booked a night at this location exclusively so our kids had a fun pool experience. The pool was unexpectedly closed upon arrival. The response from staff was a shrug and suggestion to call ahead and check in the future. Not helpful in the moment and makes for a wasted trip and money. In addition, the room was noisy and there was considerable water damage on the ceiling of the bathroom.

Was assigned a room with traffic noise and a loud upstairs neighbor, the next morning when I asked to change rooms was meet with hostility and gas lighting by the front desk ie being told that my room did not have road noise, then being told all the rooms have road noise. She was not interested in helping. Even beyond this issue surprised this hotel is rated highly. Many issues such as chairs/carpet having stains, hair on the bed sheets, missing weights in the gym etc. Would not recommend

The staff were excellent. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Was disappointed the pool was closed without any notice on the website. The mattress was in need of replacement. It was very uneven and uncomfortable. Other than that the property was pleasant.

We stayed in room 413 which did not have a thermostat on the wall because it was missing. The room temp was fine while we were awake and alert but when we went to sleep, the room was freezing all night. Taylor came up the next day and adjusted the temp. Housekeeping was a disaster! We stayed for 4 das and opted for housekeeping on the 3rd night. When we returned back to the room, it practically looked the way we left it with candy wrappers still on the table and breakfast plates still on the counter. We received fresh towels but he left the dirty ones. Their policy is not to wipe down anything and it was evident. However, they leave a card with their "promise" of a cleaner than clean room. It's all PR and they live up to none of it. The front desk staff were all amazing though. Very helpful and good listeners. Heads up to the management of this location.....you are losing revenue by running a shoddy hotel. Your housekeeping and upkeep of the facilities is questionable and you should have a manager on premises as much as possible. We will be booking our stay at the Marriott from now on.

A good stay
We had a nice stay at this hotel. The location was convenient and safe, with supermarkets and fast food places just 5 minutes away. Our room was huge and had a king-sized bed and a sofa bed. It was spacious, comfortable, and clean. However, the walls between the rooms were so thin that we could hear the noise from the other unit. We're not sure if this is only true for the room we stayed in or if it's the same throughout the whole hotel building. The complimentary breakfast had limited options, and many items were loaded with sugar. We wish there were hard boiled eggs. We also noticed a sign for fresh fruit, but the bowl was empty. Apart from this, our stay was very pleasant.

Convenient location for visiting Ithaca. Sits on a busy four-lane road - cars and trucks all night. AC wasn’t working properly. Room was very warm. Ran out of tissues and TP. Heard a lot of pounding feet on the floor above.

Check-in was a seamless process, which was a blessing considering I was arriving from a 4-hour drive. The property was very clean and quiet and there was a lot of dining options in the area as well.

Good breakfast useless curtain
Service was great. Breakfast was very good. The heater in the room was noisy. The curtain was useless in blocking out light so the room was light overnight from the street lights making sleeping difficult.

I didn’t get her name, but the older woman who works the breakfast station is the absolute best. Even after my wife & I had our breakfast and were seated, she came by the table and asked us if she could bring us anything else. Thank you.

The AC in my room made an awful “twilight zone” noise. They didn’t have another room available. Kyle, did his best to try to fix it and explains units were being changed out but didn’t have a spare he could put in my room. I would have found another hotel but friend had already settled in her room. We were sharing a car. Kyle brought me ear plugs. Front desk Taylor was not nice. Breakfast server was lovely.
