Our stay was just as expected, a room with the basic essentials (toilet, shower, beds) so we could sleep in a real bed for a lower cost. No frills here, no tv, no A/C, no refrigerator. It was perfect for 2 nights before and after our hiking trip. Upon arrival we checked in at the front desk, there is free coffee/tea/hot chocolate, there's a community game room/lounge downstairs which was pretty cool, along with shared coin laundry, and a community fridge and ice machine. The rooms are individual rooms just like a hotel but some offer 4 beds in one which is exactly what we needed.
Overall I'd say this was a 7/10 in terms of bang for your buck, comfort, and entertainment. The goal of being in the mountains is not to spend time in your room... right?
