Thanks for the feedback. We take pride in providing clean rooms at an affordable price. We have added extra sanitation steps of all high-touch surfaces in the guest rooms. As a downside to our Covid--19 measures, it is sometimes hard to detect lingering odors during daily room inspections through our masks. As a building from the 1960s we are unable to provide an elevator, however we do our best to accommodate lower floor requests. Thanks again and we hope to see you here again!

I'm sorry that there were issues with your stay. We do have heaters in every room on the floorboard in the corner, and they get us through the zero-degree nights of the winters. Also we enforce our quiet hours from 10pm to 8am but unfortunately, we can't catch every noisy guest. We recommend that our more noise sensitive guests request the 4th floor, as it is quieter.

Being a hostel we provide simple accommodations for more than 300 cheaper than our Teton Village competitors, with amenities like fridges, microwaves, and TVs in our common area.

As our staff explained, you were looking at rates from the end of October, near the beginning of the off-season in Jackson Hole. The rate you selected on Expedia was correct for September 17, during the busiest time for Jackson Hole, the Fall Arts Festival, when The Hostel is the most affordable lodge in all of Jackson Hole by at least 100, and usually by a few hundred dollars. We also offered you a military discount, but did have to assess a pet fee when we discovered the next morning there was a dog in the room.

I am sorry you found your bed uncomfortable. Your mattress was a foam plush-top purchased this year, along with new linens and new pillows. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. There is actually a gas station less than 1/4 mile from us here at The Hostel. While there are 7 restaurants in walking distance from us, some can be pricey with a few more affordable options. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Thanks for your feedback. Seeing that you stayed last Saturday for a night, the next cheapest lodges in all of Jackson Hole were likely 50%, or 100, more expensive, with most lodges 200+ more expensive. The Hostel remains the most affordable option.

I am sorry that you had a noisy neighbor, and that you found the mattress hard. We had replaced our King mattresses earlier this year with Sterling Imperial plush tops, and most have found them to be comfortable and soft. Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for giving The Hostel a try. We are about 50% less then the cheapest Jackson motel in summer, and a few hundred to several hundred dollars cheaper than typical hotels in Jackson Hole.
