I only chose this hotel because it's near a train station so it's fairly easy to find without the hassle of clueless taxi drivers who always hope the foreign tourist in the back seat is equally as clueless. The reception desk is over staffed by young guys who are always half asleep and are of no help. I speak the local language so I can only imagine what a struggle it would be for anyone who can't communicate in Bahasa Indonesia. The bed sheets and pillow sheets were dirty and the room was very shabby. It was passable for me but for the average traveller, my advice would be to pay a few extra dollars somewhere else.
