It was easy to find. The check-in process was fast & efficient. The clerk was very nice and helpful. The room is clean & quiet. Wifi available. I will stay here again.

Nice and clean and good breakfast
nice clean hotel did not realize how small the rooms are though but still good enough. Really good free breakfast also. Worked out for my son and his wife

I had visited this property before, and had given it five stars. This last visit however, was less than enjoyable. The woman at the front desk seemed put out by the fact she had to check somebody in; just her attitude and demeanor was enough to turn me off from making this my go-to hotel in Janesville, WI.

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating during my complicated stay (due to a death in the family). Their supportive presence made my difficult time much easier than it could have been, and I am grateful to them for that.

The area was very clean as promised. Very grateful for that. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast and the fact that they had coffee 24 hours a day. When I come back this way, I will certainly stay at Microtel.

Basic accommodations with room to improve
It was quiet until staff started cleaning. Dirty linens were left in room from previous guest. Breakfast room was clean with the exception of the microwave. Not sure how long since it had been cleaned.

Front desk clerk not very friendly, no elevators so had to request a 1st level room and was disappointed no water or cookies at check in like in london, KY. Just thought they would be more similar. Very lacking compared to the London, KY microtel.

I noticed a stench in the room, smelled like someone cooked a raw chicken in the microwave. Room was relatively clean, bed was comfortable, walls are very thin, you can hear other peoples TV playing. would only stay here again if there was no other choice.

The hotel was fine. There was a ton of construction and so everything was in disarray. Fixtures were worn and in need of replacing. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were not quiet. It was ok for the money you paid for.

Our stay was short but comfortable. Check in/out was easy and staff was friendly. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast had varied and adequate chocies. Breakfast time is listed at 6:30am but was ready at 6:00am

The rooms are nice and clean i asked for a handicapped room but was told it was more money than a regular room. Which i was surprised about. Otherwise it was a good stay. A little safety concern because of certain people hanging out outside and propping the side doir open during my entire stay.

Night clerk didnt speak/understand English very well. She could not understand when I asked where we could park our truck and trailer.

The check in was fine, the clerk was great. I found 2 bugs crawling on the bed by my husband. When I crushed the large one it was full of blood. I found a tiny one crawling and took it to the clerk and she thought it might be a spider. My husband and I lifted the corner of the mattress by the headboard and the bed liner was infested with bed bugs. They did move us to a clean room where ALL the linens looked clean. We stayed the next day until noon but the manager never showed up as promised. We stayed there 6 weeks ago and it was decent. Now we will never stay there again!

Quick stay, and it was perfect. We arrived late in the evening (early morning) and there was someone there to greet us. Smaller hotel room, but perfect for a quick stay!
