Our maintenance staff fumigate rooms on a regular bases when we find any issues. It is always nice to hear from our guests on issues they have had during their stay as it helps us know what the guests would like to have during their stay with us. We have worked very hard to remodel and up-date our property. It is with sadness that we read your review as we personally allowed you to view and pick the room you chose to stay in since we were nearly full. We also made everything more accommodating per all your specific requests. We are not a 5-star motel, but we do our best to accommodate every guests needs, and you did tell us everything was acceptable and chose to stay when we asked if you were comfortable in the room you told our clerk everything was good. We aren’t sure why you changed the impression you gave us from what you said to what you wrote in the review of the room, but we would like to apologize that we could not meet your high expectations while you were here. Our property description is very on point and it even states that we are not a fancy motel. Thank you so much for your feedback we enjoy hearing from all our guests and thank you for the suggestions you have made, it truly helps us make our guests more comfortable. Below is our property description on all our sites, we have never tried to hide anything, we are very open with our guests. We are an independent, EXTENDED stay, economy, contractor, and hiker motel. People LIVE and stay here long term when performing contracted work in our community; hikers stay on their way through the trail and people live here in between transitioning and moving. This is an economy lodge; we are not a luxury motel. We are a low income, hiker and workers motel please plan accordingly when making your reservations.

Good afternoon, we are very sorry you had a bad experience with us and would like to apologize for any and all issues as this is not how we like to maintain our motel - we'll work hard to fix the issue you experienced and hope you will visit us again as we are currently under renovations and would like for you to see the work we have been doing since your visit. We are replacing the carpeting as well as freshening all the rooms with steam to fix any odor issues. Thank you so much for letting us know that we indeed still have work to do.

As you know it was after 1:00 a.m. when you checked in and our clerk was half asleep, and we do apologize for the mistaken clerical error made on your reservation. We have issued a full refund as well a complete revamp to the room, more training for our staff and new pre-check procedures.
