overall a good hotel
Close to town, friendly staff, clean and comfy room. The breakfast was nice but the cooked breakfast was not self- service. Around the hotel there were plenty of seating areas. Some form of entertainment was held each evening. Although there was a lift to the upper floors, there were however a lot of stairs. The adjoining wall was paper thin or we just had a very loud neighbour.

Nice hotel with simple rooms, well located for those who will be using the excellent public transportation system to get around. Very nice breakfast was included. You have to leave your room key with the front desk when you go out, which I thought was a bit weird, but otherwise ok.

Great location
Overall a great stay. Hotel is situated in a great location. Decor in rooms are dated, but the cleanliness and the staff make up for this. Would recommend as a good base to explore the Island.

Difficult to find the right adjective, quirky,pleasant friendly comfortable, close to town centre. Has lots of short flights of stairs if that's a problem. Overall a charming hotel.

Average. I would say this is a contractor hotel for a cheap stay away. Many elderly people stay here because of the cost. The staff and owners can't do enough for you. Food is less than average but is the same cost as everywhere is Jersey, expensive for what they serve. Remember you pay for what you get, if you want a cheap hotel for a stay away then this is great for you, don't expect any frill. Or any extras, a notice in the bathroom says this if you want anymore tea bags you need to pay for them ! But the room is stocked every day. It was ok, but not great. If I was working this would be ok, it's not appealing if you are wanting to spend a bit of time in your room.

One of the best priced hotels in Jersey. Easy walking distance to everywhere in St Helier. Not a deluxe type of hotel, but for what you pay a very fine place to stay. Recommended.

The staff were great, the hotel was central to harbour and town centre. The breakfast was good but was disappointed with the evening meal.

The Norfolk was in need of some updating in the rooms, but all it was clean & comfortable & not to far from the town, so walkable & it was in a quiet area. Breakfast was basic, but nice & the staff all friendly & helpful.

Excellent stay
We stayed for 4 nights, first time in jersey and so glad we chose this hotel. My parents are elderly and in a wheelchair, the staff accommodated our every need including low floor with walk in shower in the room. Full breakfast included which was brilliant, great choice, swift service in restaurant and staff brilliant too. You can also book a 3 course evening meal at the hotel. Entertainment nightly to suit all, lovely bar and lounge, again the staff in there were great! A special mention to Brian who was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble, especially after we’d checked out and our flight then cancelled, A quick call back to the hotel and Brian found us another room for the night, he literally saved the day! Would absolutely recommend this hotel!!! Thankyou all there.

Good location for a weekend break
The Norfolk Hotel was in an ideal location. Excellent Thai & Portuguese cafes very nearby. Rather dated & popular with the older person! Bingo was popular!

Great hotel for the few days I was in St Helier. Rooms a good size and very clean. Lovely bedding! Very good value as the cost of the room included a cooked breakfast. Easy to walk to the centre of town from the hotel. All the staff were so friendly and helpful.

It was great that the hotel is in the middle of town and all amenities were within a short distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were lovely. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone. Thank you Norfolk Hotel for a lovely stay.

Everywhere clean, food good, staff helpful and friendly, convenient location, in short, everything you could want from a hotel. Okay, it's all a bit dated, but that wouldn't stop us from returning to the Norfolk Hotel if we were staying in St. Helier again.

Nice hotel and well priced. It’s a large place, with a good pool. Witjca great layout, good pool, great dining room and breakfast service. But bear in mind, the average ago of lists of the patrons is probably 65. So if you’re over for the weekend partying, you may want to look elsewhere!!!!

the staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean but we did not sleep well- car alarm goung off in the middle if the night, noisy guests and slamming of doors, bed was uncomfortable and pillows but only 2 nights so not worth changing rooms/pillows as we were leaving. outside pool was freezing and lots of bugs floating. lots of rules and regulations and extra payment or fines but we enjoyed the pool table
