The owner & staff were very helpful, friendly & polite. They are under renovation so I did hear some noise. I would have liked having a longer hot shower- only had hot water for about 4-5 minutes. Also, would have liked to see a little more offered at the breakfast, like something easy to take with me instead of having to sit there to make waffles & eat there.

No surprises
Totally adequate for an overnight stay. We did not need lots of amenities. Enjoyed covered parking and had everything expected of a low cost accommodation.

Ghetto
On the elevator someone had used marker to write the word "ghetto" over the hotel address on the elevator certificate. I tend to agree with them. I thought about returning to the desk and get a refund and go elsewhere but didn't quite get there. Till morning I wish I had. The hall way was cold. The room was cold and took forever to warm up. The floor needed vacuumed. The stuffed chair was thread bare. The bed rested on metal pipes which stuck out beyond the bed creating danger of banged shins. When I laid down to sleep I noticed the battery compartment of the smoke detector was open with no battery. I assume it was hard wired and battery was back-up. The ice machine on my floor did not work. While inspecting for bugs I found a room key between the arm and pillow of the chair making it obvious the lack of detail in cleaning. When I went to get a shower in the morning I found there was no soap, only little containers of shampoo. I pulled the shower curtain closed and there between the folds of the shower curtain was a small used towel. I'll think twice, maybe three or four times, before I stay at another Super 8. Well, odds are I'll not stay at another one.

The room was dirty. There were dark long hairs on the pillow. The toilet was leaking onto the floor. The AC was making a loud noise. There were noises coming from above the ceiling that were unidentifiable. The bathroom did not have soap or enough towels. The phone in the room did not work. The room did. It look anything like the photos. Would not come here again and feel ripped off. My wife slept in her clothes because of the nasty factor.

Would Avoid At All Cost
Couldn't trust the sheets and comforter so we slept on top of it all. Luckily, we brought our own pillows. The hallway was freezing cold which made a cold and wet weekend stay with you long after we returned to our room. Lots of road work being done around the property and had to drive through the parking lot of another business. Would not stay there again...even if it meant spending more or driving further out of the way.

Lock broken off door, heater did not work (45 outside), breakfast was waffle maker, cereal and breads. Pillow had long hairs on it.

The room we were given was not completely refreshed with needed towels, wasn't vaccumed and when we got to the door it wasn't even locked along with a few others near by. We were charged more than the rack rate by Expedia. Wasn't a deal at all and Continental breakfast was a real disappointment.

room wasnt cleaned
room was extremely unhygenic and filthy. it looked like the room hadnt really been cleaned from the last person. there was trash including used tissues on the floor by the nightstand, staining on sheets and hairs on the shower walls. neighbors were very loud and you could clearly hear the conversations between themselves and thier phone calls as well. i would definately not stay there again and i ended up checking out early and staying somewhere else.

This hotel was okay, one of the queen beds had a rather large hump in the middle of the bed which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The room had a strong smell of air freshener, and the bathroom floor had not been swept. The biggest disappointment was the meager breakfast. No fruit, yogurt, or granola bars. A scant few bagels, some prepackaged chocolate donuts, and a couple packs of instant oatmeal. They did have waffles but no toppings other than syrup. There was one pot of coffee, and no creamer left. And the breakfast area was not super clean.

Front desk staff promptly found my online reservation and had keys to me in minutes and I arrived to a clean room. The beds had a bit more spring than I'm used to in this day of foam mattresses everywhere, but these were comfortable and I quickly fell asleep in the extremely quiet hotel. Outside noise and movement in other rooms were unnoticeable, only the occasional click of a hallway door shutting filtering in. The included continental breakfast was what you would expect at most hotels: cereal, baked goods, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, juice, milk, tea. After a longer than anticipated day before this was much appreciated. The only thing about the hotel that stood out is that it is a bit dated and if not addressed in a few years will move to being run-down. Though no glaring problems, there were little issues such as broken clips in the bathroom and places where it looked like there was a hasty (and not thorough) repair. Overall, however, as a last minute booking for a business trip - during a busy weekend with limited options within an hour of my destination - I'm glad I chose this hotel. At less than $100 a night after taxes it represented a great value and I would gladly stay here again in the future.

It was dark and run down, not kept up. The landscaping was terrible, grass not cut, weeds everywhere. I did not feel safe, so did not stay.

Sorry you felt that way about the property but let me inform you that we have a contract for landscaping who comes every Tuesday and unfortunately it rained yesterday so they couldn't perform their job. And about the darkness you are talking about we feel you are the first person to say that as we are one of the most lighted properties in town. The hotel was undergoing renovation. The room was having a weird smell, the room carpet was kind of dirty, bathroom exhaust didn’t work and there were very limited choices for breakfast.

Hotel is under renovation. Our room smells like new carpet and several of the outlets dont work. Check in guy was super friendly but dont think this night will be worth the 68 bucks half price compared to the Hampton Inn nearby.

Very dirty. Bed sheets had holes in them and very worn, thin and stained. The bath linens were discolored, stained. However the shower unit was newer. We originally had reservations for two nights, cancelled our second night. The AC unit made a terrible noise all night, even after reach desired temperature. Sounded like a Diesel truck sitting idle outside our room. The carpet was coming up. There was no breakfast, as advertised. I think maybe because we were the only ones to stay that night. Hate to be negative but this hotel is in need of a HUGE remodel before ever returning or recommending. Wish you well.

Lower entrance to the elevator has wet carpet and black mold on walls. Smells of mold. Exit at end of hall has a paper sign on it saying fire exit only. Room was made up first two days . It was not made up the 2 following days.

Old tore furniture’s and some foul unused/old smell. Breakfast is just average. Expedia took $5 extra for breakfast when I called them directly than mentioned in the site.

Very disappointing experience
I didn't expect much for the price I paid, however, I did expect it to be clean. It wasn't! Even though the bed sheets were changed, the beds had a frumpy, damp feeling to them. The floors were not adequately vacuumed, the toilet was not scrubbed completely and the shower curtain was stained. The hallways and staircase area were positively filthy. Staff was very friendly, but it wasn't enough to make up for teh icky feeling. Will not go back.

The motel was centrally located to everything we had planned. Strongly recommend their handicap rooms for anyone with a disability. Nice continental breakfast.

We booked last minute. It was the last room in the area. But still... Bathroom smelled like a urinal. Floor was never swept or mopped. Mirror in bathroom was never cleaned. I saw toothpaste residue. Needed a dusting. Door Jam Lock for securing the door was missing. Bought some Lysol and a convenience store to disinfect the bathroom. If this was a overflow room for emergencies, a heads up would have been nice. Pretty sure the place had been three hotel names it has been.The Baymont,, Americas Best and Super 8.

When we arrived in our room we would immediately noticed the floor had not been vacuumed. When we went to the bathroom there were SOMEONE else's curly hairs all over the toilet seat and floor. The faucet had not been cleaned. The mirror had not been cleaned. We went to the front desk. The gentlemen there let us see other rooms which were even dirtier. Thankfully the bed had been made(believe me, we checked before we got in). The continental breakfast was cereal and waffles, which we passed on. The hotel is very old and the elevator sounds like it falls a couple inches every time it reaches a floor. The front desk guy was VERY helpful the entire time we were there. He was helpful every step of the way. But housecleaning needs a lesson on how to clean. Also, there are not fridges in the rooms, you have to request them. Just an FYI. I will definitely never be staying there again and would never recommended it.

Not a good experience
1. When we arrived, found a very dirty towel among the clean (and very thin) ones. 2. When we were leaving for dinner, we discovered the door would not lock. Called the desk and they said they would fix it while we were at dinner. No way we were going to leave it unlocked. Then he said it just needed new batteries for the card lock. He changed them but the door still wouldn't lock. Finally, we were given a new room. 3. In the new room, the clock was broken. 4. The breakfast was awful. Sliced bread and a couple (literally) packaged donuts. A waffle maker that produced a rubbery waffle. Juice and coffee. That was it. No protein, no fruit, not even peanut butter. 5. Have to say the positives - the room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The motel was quiet and had good parking. Walking distance to Starbucks, McDonalds and Ruby Tuesday. So it was a cheap room, but we had to buy breakfast anyway, so that reduced our savings.

Close to PA Turnpike
This hotel is just off the PA Turnpike with restaurants conveniently nearby. It has been four years since I have stayed at this property and it is now under different branding. The rooms are nice and the property is clean.

Had to request the room to be cleaned one day, had to request towels multiple times, and key cards needed to be reset multiple times as well.

Good roadside stop with comfy bed
Very convenient hotel, clean and comfy with nice satellite TV and a comfy bed. The hotel is somewhat worn but is entirely adequate for on-the-road travelers to relax and get a good night's sleep. Restaurants are nearby; it took me just a bit to find gas and a grocery store. Some covered parking is available--a plus in bad weather. Desk clerk was helpful; cleaning staff did my room right away so I could check in. I didn't eat breakfast, but it was popular and seemed to be pretty complete (more so than my prior Super 8 hotel on this trip). And though I could watch turnpike traffic I wasn't disturbed by it.
