This is a lower budget motel, but it had a good old school vibe, and it was fun just for a little weekend trip to get away and check out a new spot. I can tell the owners take pride and are very hospitable. I went to the front desk and asked for blankets, and he informed me they were in the drawers. As soon as I got back to my room he was calling to make sure they were there and that I found them. It’s right down the street from Wal-Mart and there is a really good fast food Mexican restaurant called Amigo’s that is within walking distance

You have GOT to be kidding! I took and saved pictures in case they were some kind of scam and wanted to charge me for some of the damage. The room might have looked like the website photograph 20 or more years ago, it was false advertising to criminal fraud today. Chunks of ceiling plaster the size of my hand falling off in the shower. Bathroom exhaust fan rusted as far back the pipe as I could see. Actual holes in the walls. Veneer missing off the furniture. Handrails missing from stairs to the room and more. When I found myself in the same area the next night, I drove on to the next town and dealt directly with a hotel rather than risk another Expedia partner property.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very dirty, including a blood stain on the sheet. I wish that it had been clean so that I could say nice things about it. The people were very nice. The free breakfast was cereal and milk. We opted to eat out.

Zimmer waren sauber. Aber leider sehr dunkel, auch das Bad war dunkel braun, ebenfalls der Teppichboden. Frühstück mit Toast, Marmelade, Kaffee und Saft überraschend gut. Warum der Pool bei 20°C in den Osterferien geschlossen war, bleibt mir ein Rätsel (das Problem hatten aber mehrere Unterkünfte auf unserer Strecke).

The Inn itself on the outside looks a bit run down, however the room was clean and accomodating. Breakfast is cereal and toast. The girl on the front desk is exceptional and made our stay more enjoyable.

Love the retro feel!
Cute old motel. Actually loved the dated decor, but could use a litttle touch-up here and there. No frills. Host was friendly.

It may not be a 4 or 5 star hotel, but my children felt safe staying here, and it is an overall peaceful experience. If i come this way again I'd stay here.

The office and food area(yuck, little food, jugs of drinks)smelled of strong curry throughout. Some of property was unpainted,rusty, visible large cracks in ceilings. Beds are super high need step stool

Building is falling apart. Needs paint and updating. Tub caulk had mold. Concrete walls in room had white powder on the floor and walls. Breakfast was a small package of donuts, 2 cold cereals, and toast. I think our room was a handicap room because the bathroom door was double the normal size and it had hand rails. However, once entering the bathroom area where the vanity was located, it would be impossible to enter the toilet or bathtub/shower area. It was not even the width of a normal door.

This might be the worst place I've ever stayed.. the property is in terrible condition, the rooms haven't been updated in forever it seemed, the "breakfast" was stale cereal and yogurt with no utensils provided to eat either and a 12 pack of grocery store donuts for the whole hotel.. don't stay here

I stayed at the hotel for several nights while visiting family in Carthage. Upon returning to the room one afternoon I noticed a Apple Watch that was sitting on the table charging on my charger that wasn’t mine. I took the watch off the charger and placed it on the table behind something. When I returned to the room later that night the watch was gone, I always felt like somebody was going through my room every day.

The front desk super rude the building is falling a part front office smells really bad definitely the picture that are online are not real probably not updated I can rate this as a scam is a sketchy place worse then a motel it doesn’t provide what they offer online we booked a room trusting the website and when we get there is not what we were shown to have is a big lie i wouldn’t pay $10 dollars a night ! Don’t stay here till they remodel or build a new building not worth it!

So sorry for the inconvenience sir . The desk clerk tried to explain you several times that we were not a prepaid motel guest have to pay upon check inn . This clause is mentioned in your itinerary itself but you would not try to understand and left the property . The hotel did not charge your card for not canceling the reservation . Our office may not be that good looking but our rooms are very neat and clean which you didn’t even try to have a look at . For your inconvenience did not charge your card either .

Clerk charged me extra for a handicapped room , he had me over a barrel . Refused to cancel with Expedia so I could go elsewhere . I made numerous attempts to contact Expedia , that was mission impossible. So I had to pay extra to get handicapped room . So now you know what kind of people you are dealing with . Ratty rooms , the smallest tv I’ve ever seen in a motel ,the place has been neglected badly .

We had a Cute retro looking room. Needed updating but was still cute. Very strong smell of cleaning products. Found two cockroaches during our night. I know it happens and I don’t hold it against them. The neighborhood was awful. Load parking lot, drunk obnoxious people and one fight outside kept us awake. Do not recommend this neighborhood at all.
