Great place to stay
The room was great, the service excellent, the food very good. We arrived just after 12 noon and check in was not untill 3pm. But the receptionist checked if the room was ready, which it was, and checked us in. 3 hrs would have been difficult to fill in Jabiru.

The place to stay!
Check in was quick and easy and very friendly. Room clean and comfortable. Close to shops and service station. Restaurant has a great menu and waitstaff are very friendly. We loved our stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. One minor criticism was that the temperature control was locked at 22 degrees and the room could have been a bit cooler for our comfort. Also I emptied the dehumidifier 3 times in our short stay. The air conditioner could have minimized that effort. Also the cockatoos made a heck of a racket both in the evening and in the morning. I would NOT expect the hotel to do anything about that.

A little oasis
Room was clean if not a little worn. Stayed in the tail section. Looked like someone had plucked chooks at the patio tables both mornings with all the bird life that rocked up at night. Restaurant was table service but staff didn't seem to have set sections which caused some confusion and waiting especially around getting the check but they were all friendly.

The staff were super friendly, helpful and lovely. Buffet dinner was delicious. Not your typical mass catered buffet, less selection but quality good food. Breakfast buffet could have done with an egg station, otherwise was good too. Room was comfortable, if not a bit dated. Bathrooms need a bit of an update/revamp. Decorative furnishings (pillows/bed throws) were stained and unpleasant. Overall a pleasant stay.

We had a great 2 night stay, yes it might be a bit tired in areas, but consider how remote this area is and it’s a very nice hotel. Rooms were clean, air cond and dehumidifier all working on arrival. Restaurant food was good, staff lovely and friendly. Stunning area to explore even with limits on what to do in wet season. Hotel pool a bonus and we could park right outside our room.

A good place to stay
Overall a good stay although the hotel is looking tired in places. Staff were friendly and helpul. The food was excellent and generally well priced given the remote lication and few alternatives in town.

We had no running water in the room to shower, toilet or wash, or even make a coffee... the pool was out of action for cleaning so couldn't even have a swim and no compensation what so ever.... buyer beware

The Croc’s Ok
The Croc is ok - staff very friendly and helpful. Condition is a little run down from the outside and the mattress was not of the standard of a modern hotel - room was clean. No coat hangers. Nice foyer at the hotel with beautiful art.

Hotel Reception and restaurant are very nice. Rooms very, very tired and in need of renovation. We booked for two nights but ended up checking out after first night and booked at Cooinda for 2nd night which was much better. I wont be recommending this hotel as place to stay when in Kakadu.

Met Expectations.
We received keys to our room, but it wasnt made up so back to reception we went. Never a good experience. Room was cool, good bed and bathroom although dated. it did the job. We had the buffet dinner and really enjoyed it. Exceeded our expectations.

Einmal und nicht wieder für diesen Preis.
Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen, benötigt dringend ein Update. Badezimmer echt übel, Wasserhähne verkalkt und Waschbecken angeschlagen. Schnell rein und wieder raus. Trotz der Hitze werden die Zimmer bei längerem Aufenthalt nicht gemacht, auch keine frischen Handtücher. Leider gab es nur dieses Hotel. Personal hat viel Zeit zum quatschen, aber scheinbar keine, um mal die Scheiben im Restaurant zu säubern oder die Bar abzuwischen. Direkt beim Pool holen sich die Einheimischen an der Bar ein Bier nach dem anderen und schreien rum. Sehr unangenehm.

Gardens are lovely, room was clean and bed and pillow comfortable. Lovely how the room opens to the garden, really ambient at night. Loved the gallery and great selection of Aboriginal artwork. Found the lunch very disappointing. Reception staff were friendly. Dinner and breakfast were good, would be good to see some local foods.

The reception area and staff were welcoming however that’s where it ends. The rooms were outdated and tired. Bathroom and entry areas have not been updated since the last time we visited over 10 years ago. No room service unless you stay for over 3 days. Fairly poor considering the amount of money you pay per room.

very dated & requires an upgrade to bring it in line with the room rate charged. way overboard for the quality.

The hotel restaurant allows only set meals for breakfast $16 and dinner $49, no other options. With just one another restaurant locally you either have to splash out for every meal or go out to another location. The fridge in the room is tiny and doesn't have a freezer section to freeze the iceblocks. The rooms are not serviced daily and you would expect the service when paying $300 /night. On the positive side, the roo was big and spacious and the beds were comfy.
