Had to wait 15 mins to get checked in. Manager did offer some refreshments because of it, but not sure why manager wasn't more attentive to the front desk. Property could use a refresh. Looking dated and old, compared to most other Hampton Inn's that I have stayed at.

I’m sad to see so many Hampton inns are not keeping their standards high. In this case my biggest complaint is the fact that I had 4 pillows on the bed and they all smelled over used and soiled. I couldn’t stand it. I stayed 2 nights and ended up putting a pillow inside one of my clean tee shirts so that I could sleep. The night stand had spilled coffee on it. The carpet next to the bed was filthy. Overall the room felt dirty. I always wipe everything down with disinfectant wipes where ever I stay. I used many extra wipes here. Attention to detail was not at this location.

Hotel was ok. GPS couldn’t find it. We did find a hair on the bed sheet. Not any major issues I couldn’t deal with, until the people above us (I think) were making banging noises till 1230-1am. Front desk did check on it but guests were quiet when they did. I would use hotel again.

Easy to get to. Nice evening staff to check us in. Parking wasn't awful, but not a huge amount. Would recommend.

The bed was awful and you could hear the springs everytime I moved and I am not a large person I’m average built. The mirror in the bathroom was super high my kid couldn’t see him self he’s 13 and 5’ :(

Even though it was by the airport we didn’t hear an airplane once. We were there for a wrestling tournament so other kids were running upstairs and thru the halls which we could hear. Door had a lot of daylight around it which made it easy to hear. Room was nice shower had good pressure It was nice they had a list of local pizza places that they made.

The room was spacious and location convenient to many things in the area. Cost was reasonable, I will stay here again!

Upon check-in we were placed in the wrong room. Once we got into our correct room the bed sheets weren't changed. The bathroom was dirty. Went to breakfast the next morning which starts at 6am and they didn't have anything anything out till 6:45am which set our schedule back by 45 minutes. Thankfully, The late night staff was fantastic!

The hotel was clean and the staff were great, but the bed was very very uncomfortable and the walls were paper thin. I tossed and turned all night and I usually have no trouble sleeping.

Stayed a single night. Staff was friendly and we didn’t have any issues. Breakfast was OK, but not great - seemed like cheap off-brand food (muffins, danish, corned beef hash, etc), but not bad and it was included

Close to the things we wanted to do in portage and Kalamazoo. Room was huge. The tub and sink has the plugs pushed down so water collected at first until we figured out why so you may need to push them to unlock them. Staff was kind. Pool was good. Gym area was nice for a hotel. Had more options than most. Breakfast was a typical continental one. Coffee out daily and tea was nice but the tea water needed to be monitored so it was hot. Right behind the small airport so it was cool to watch the planes take off. Would recommend for the area. Not the safest area it seems to maybe walk around but has a cute brewery down the road and an activity type center with bowling and mini golf.

Dirt clods on the floor in our room upon entry. You have to join Hilton Honors for WiFi service. Electric sockets are loose - my charging block won’t even stay in.

Ok for Kalamazoo
Nice hotel. Check-in was quick. Location is excellent for proximity to Wings Event Center. There is a good restaurant (Travelers) right next door. It was refurbished and is good for the price.

The property was in disrepair. The elevator smelled awful. The room smelled awful. The floors were disgusting. The shower was filthy. It was one of the worst hotel experiences ever! The only reason I stayed is because the Expedia rules would not let me cancel. And there were no other rooms available due to full house.
