Wir haben hier nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise verbracht. Das Zimmer hatte sehr gute Matratzen, sehr leise Klimaanlage und das Abendessen war sehr gut allerdings nicht typisch griechisch! Alles in allem wie es sein sollte!

We arrived after 9.00 pm and were welcomed by the manager who was also working in the cafe attached to the apartments. The accommodation was excellent . Enjoyed the beautiful sea view while having breakfast

Beautifully decorated, lovely both inside and out. Everything is new, nice and clean. They also have a cozy outdoor restaurant. The owners are amazing!

We had a fantastic time at this property. Ioanna and Panos were wonderful hosts and so kind and accommodating. The room itself was great and even had a kitchenette. Steps to the beach and local shops. The Cactus Cafe of the apartments had so many great things to choose from and they support local businesses too. Will definitely be back.

These apartments are perfect clean and comfortable my partner and I loved the location and stones walk away from the beach ,restaurant, it’s a nice quiet little village which was perfect for what we wanted. The hosts are really lovely people and couldn’t have asked for more.. the coffee shop next door which is run by the owner of the apartment does a great continental breakfast great coffee and the best chocolate croissant that are freshly made every morning. We will definitely be going back thank you for being so lovely.

Excellent location!
There is a small patio with a lovely sea view from this apartment. The bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed. Parking was very easy. This is a good location to see this end of Crete!

Good location, practical, clean, extremely friendly staff
Just by the road into Kalyves, but traffic not very disturbing (bedroom at the back). 4 min walk to well stocked supermarket, 7 min to beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, 10-15 min to Kalyves center. Balcony with fantastic seaview and view of the sunrise. Most of th day the balcony is in the shadow, and the apt (1st floor) is not very hot. Everything working, but very sparsely equipped kitchen. Daily thorough cleaning. Manager and staff very forthcoming.

Wnderul View and good room
The hotel has a wonderful view from the balcony of the Cretan Sea and the Turkish fort near Aptera. The apartment clean, well furnished and had daily house keeping.

Excellent stay
The apartment has a beautiful view, is well equipped and the service is excellent. It is a short walk to the beach, to the town center and to a good supermarket.

Lovely apartments clean, friendly and beautiful.
Apartments and the studio we stayed in were clean and we'll presented. Cleaned every day. Bed firm which I liked but the pillows also a bit hard. People are lovely and very helpful nothing is too much trouble. Would stay there again . A little walk to the shops and beach. Be aware that the roads are narrow and driving an be a bit scary.

Smakfulla studios med havsutsikt
Vi bodde här i 2 nätter, jättefina studios med 2 balkonger och väldigt sköna sängar. Bekvämt avstånd till Chanias flygplats, ca 35 min med bil. Havsnära läge, dock ingen strand vid hotellet, men på ca 10 min promenad når man lugna och bra stränder.

Okay, aber direkt an Strasse
Porto kalyves liegt am dorfeingang von kalyves und direkt an der dorfstrasse. Die aussicht von den balkonen wird also durch die strasse ziemlich getrübt. Der sandstrand ist gut 5 minuten zu fuss entfernt. Die appartements sind okay, aber unserer meinung nach sicher keine 5 sterne wert. Das personal hingegen hat diese verdient, denn es ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem kann man hier gut ein paar erholsame tage verbringen, für den preis findet man aber auch hotelzimmer an weit besserer lage.

3 uker på Porto Kalyves
Vi hadde en toroms leilighet i 2.etasje med fin utsikt over Souda bukta, vi var veldig fornøyde. 5minutter gange til IN.KA butikk med stort utvalg av varer og 10minutters gange til en flott badestrand. Et par bra tavernaer like borti gaten, eller er det ca.15minutter å gå til selve sentrum av Kalyves. Leiligheten ble holdt i førsteklasses stand, søppel ble hentet hver dag og håndklær og sengetøy ble regelmessig skiftet. Vertskaper er veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomme, god service.

Fantastica location di fronte al mare
Un grazioso appartamento, pulito, con tutto quello che serve per una vacanza comoda e organizzata. Due balconi di cui uno con vista mare, cucina ben equipaggiata, bagno con doccia e camera da letto con aria condizionata. Pulizia ogni 2 giorni con cambio lenzuola e asciugamani. Insomma un posto dove ritornare volentieri!

Lovely quiet apartment by the sea
The apartment was just what we wanted, simple but good modern and clean facilities in the room, fridge and 2 ring cooker. The balcony looked out directly onto the sea across a quiet road, with beautiful views across to Akrotiri. George and family made us extremely welcome. About 5 mins walk to Kalyves, which is a quiet village with a few good Greek restaurants and a few shops. The beach is at the other end of the village but there's also another beach a short and pleasant stroll in the other direction. You can rent a car very cheaply in the village and driving is easy, we found this preferable to getting around on buses as it was a bit of a walk to the bus stop to Rethymnon and Iraklion.

Dejlig lejlighed med skøn udsigt (fuld havudsigt)
Lejlighedshotellet ligger rigtig godt, har en skøn udsigt og ligger i udkanten af Kalives by, så der er rimelig roligt. Dejligt at der både var lidt væske og toast, smør, marmelade, kaffe mm ved ankomsten. Vi følte os virkelig velkomne.

Zauberhafte Appartments mit Meerblick
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und haben uns in unserem Porto Kalyves Seaside Apartment sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Zum Strand von Kalyves und zum Ortszentrum mit seinen netten Tavernen (wir mochten Koumandros an der Hauptstrasse besonders und hatten hier sehr köstliche Abendessen) ist es ein kleines Stück zu Fuß, ganz fix jedoch mit dem Auto. Fantastisch war auch das Morgenschwimmen im Meer direkt von der Unterkunft. Der Ort ist schön zum Verweilen, aber auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt um andere Ecken von Kreta zu erkunden. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft wärmstens und kommen gerne wieder.

Quite local town by the sea.
Great for a relaxing holiday close to some true natural treasures - the beaches are stunning! Exellent authentic food. Friendly and welcoming locals who are happy to share their knowledge of the best places to visit. Buses not so reliable so best to hire a car or moped if you want to travel round the island. Appartment are clean, spacious, including everything you'll need for your stay. I did'nt want to leave!!!

Hade några fantastiska dagar här i en underbar miljö. Havsutsikt och promenadavstånd till stranden. Trevlig personal, fin och fräsch lägenhet och nystädad varje dag. Gillar du en lite lugnare miljö så rekommenderar vi verkligen detta. Tips: Boka hyrbil och se dig omkring på Kreta (om du inte gjort det förut)

Fantastiskt läge och standard.
Fräsha lägenheter, byggdes 2011. Läget är kanon, 5min till en strand 10 min till en annan. Byn är trevlig inte så stor dock, flera olika restauranger. Det finns inga stora hotellanlägningar så man slipper lite folkmassor. Överlag ett mkt prisvärt boende.

Great room, bit of a hike to the beach
After much disappointment with other places we stayed in Greece, Porto Kalyves was a breath of fresh air. The apartment was spacious, fully stocked and exceptionally clean. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay at a great price. It's a bit of a walk from the main beach in Kaylves, but it suited our needs perfectly. It's also a bit of a hike from the main bus stop (around 40 mins), but George's daughter very kindly picked us up near the station very late at night when we arrived. The only real issue we had was that we were not able to get wi-fi in our room (my boyfriend needed to do some work abroad), but this wasn't a unique problem during our stay in Greece.

Trevligt välkomnande
Vi kom fram sent ca 01.30 men de väntade på oss. De kollade inte ens passen. Dagen efter tog de sig tiden, och med hjärtat, tipsa oss om Kretas bästa stränder. För att bo här måste du hyra en bil, läget är inte det bästa men du bor nära Chania och relativt nära Rethymnon. Det är ett ungt par som driver hotellet - mycket trevliga! Kort sagt - billigt och bra om du har bil och vill åka iväg på utflykter men bo fräscht.
