The hotel itself was quite clean and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. A few minor issues in the room (buzzing noise from the bathroom fan once turned on; difficulty regulating in room temperature, as it kept seeming to increase beyond the set point). The biggest issue is NOISE - the property is located right beside train tracks and the trains going by at all hours of the day and night was terrible. Woken up multiple times every night. Not at all restful no matter how nice the bed was. This hotel would be perfect for Deaf travelers, but even then, you can feel the entire building vibrate when large trains pass over several minutes. The view from my room overlooking the Thompson River was beautiful, but location immediately beside the tracks is a major, major downside. I was even in a room on the far side of the building from the tracks, but train noise still very disruptive. I will never stay there again.
