We appreciate our location here in Po'ipu just as much as you have, the only downside to being so close to the ocean is the ocean breeze really takes to the property. We are happy that we were able to fulfill your request for multiple exchanges of towels, sheets, pillow cases, as well as provide more amenities throughout your stay. Unfortunately, we were not able to allow a late checkout due to another guest checking in to that unit, but we did allow you and the family to utilize the pool until it got closer to your flights which when they came by to return the pool key expressed their appreciation. If I may suggest in the future, as most places have a late check-in and early checkout, the best way to secure a late checkout is to book an additional day. Aloha Mrs. Sasi Tumuluri, We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused you during your stay at Poipu Shores Resort on January 11, 2023 - January 13, 2023. During your 2 night stay with us, we were informed of the water situation the morning of 1/12/2023. We worked as quick as possible to get a licensed contractor out here to check on the heater. Unfortunately, the soonest we could get an electrician out to check on this was later in the day where we also learned that the heater must be replaced. The soonest we could get a plumber and electrician out to replace this equipment was a Saturday, the after your checkout.While waiting for the electrician to come by, we did check to see if we had another unit we could move you to, and unfortunately we did not. Although not ideal, we offered a full refund if you chose to cancel and find another accommodation but was told that you would deal with the warm water and would like some sort of compensation. We agreed that we would look into this. After looking into the reservation, there was a balance due to the property of which we did not charge, for this water heater inconvenience. With limited resources on island, we worked as fast as we could to resolve the issue. Again, we sincerely apologize that this occurred during your stay and wish you all the best in your future travels. Mahalo,Kahea

Aloha Wei, We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused you during your stay at Poipu Shores Resort on November 25, 2022 – November 28, 2022. We realize that our services were not up to the mark. I would like to take the time to address each of your concerns. Unfortunately, the pandemic has changed a little of our daily operations. Our office hours are Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 4:00pm. We provide this information in the text communication guests receive on the day of arrival, as well as in the registration packet provided upon arrival. For safety precautions, we no longer have daily cleaning services, rather we do a one-time cleaning after checkout. Our procedures for the number of towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and beach towels left in the unit is the amount the unit accommodates, in your case we would have 4 sets, 2 sets in each bathroom. However, I wish we knew you needed more towels or needed to swap out used towels for fresh towels, as we do have housekeeping on property and only ask for a 24hr advanced notice. We apologize for the dryer not working properly during your stay. I wish we would have been made aware of this issue, would have sent maintenance to check on this. The additional fee of 423.48 is the checkout cleaning fee and taxes due to the property upon checking in. We apologize for the confusion on this and appreciate you sharing your receipt from Expedia. With that proof receipt provided by Expedia, we were able to credit off the taxes and am working with our corporate office to assist us with Expedia's communication regarding the amount due to the property. Poipu Shores Resort is a condominium property where each unit is individually owned. Properties such as these don't usually have a room service to serve breakfast. However, within the amenities section it should have mentioned that there is a full kitchen supplied with kitchen and cooking utensils. Again, we sincerely apologize for your experience and truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. From our team to your Ohana, we wish you all a safe and healthy 2023.
