Beautiful location, comfortable and very clean. everything you need for a totally relaxed break as we had. A small family run hotel with great facilities, Anna and Dinos are very welcoming, friendly. We are most evenings at the hotel, food was excellent.

Fabulous hotel in sublime location

The hotel was beautiful; lovely pool, fantastic breakfast and wonderfully kind staff. The view from the pool was amazing. If I have one gripe, the mattress was hard, so I didn't sleep well. Everything else was superb.

Beautiful hotel with Ionian views!

Our room was very nice and spacious. The hotel is on a ridge overlooking the Ionian Sea, just outside the small town of Magganos. There are dining and grocery options nearby and in the port town of Fiskardo, about a 10 minute drive away. Breakfast was very nice, and we also had some delicious dinners at the hotel restaurant. The best part of our stay was the very friendly and helpful staff. On a day that we took a trip to Ithaca (on a ferry they helped arrange), we needed to depart before breakfast. Knowing our schedule, they had a take-away breakfast and coffee ready to go for us. An unexpected nice touch. The roads are winding, but it's definitely worth the trip. Drive carefully, and watch out for goats!

Fantastic

The place, people and view are so amazing. The only bad point is not being able to enjoy the pool. It opens very late and closes very early. The rest We loved it.

As a small hotel with only 11 rooms it felt intimate and very special. The staff did everything to make it a first rate holiday. It was the nicest suite I had ever stayed in and felt quite luxurious.

Esser geht gar nicht.

Super freundlicher Empfang. Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Das Hotel sehr sauber und die Zimmer schön eingerichtet. Auch behinderten freundlich. Pool und Bar sehr zum erholen. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Für uns ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub und wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Lovely hotel very close to Fiscardo with amazing views of the sunset and the island. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommended!

Fantastisch

Een uitzonderlijk goed hotel met prachtige voorzieningen. Ontvangst en personeel waren geweldig: steeds heel vriendelijk en staan altijd klaarom te helpen en om advies en tips te geven. Het ontbijt was elke dag anders samengesteld. Rustig gelegen maar toch goede uitvalsbasis om omgeving te verkennen. Kortom voor ons een fantastisch verblijf en gaan zeker nog eens terug.

Estadia perfeita!!!

Ficamos muito felizes por ter escolhido o Melmar. Ótima localização, excelentes instalações (super confortável), estacionamento para hospedes, ótimo wi-fi, cozinha de qualidade (bons petiscos, sanduíches e etc..), bar com variedade bebidas, cuidado especial com a limpeza, inclusive com os produtos de higiene (shampoo e etc ... todos de ótima qualidade), bom café da manhã e um STAFF IMPECÁVEL e você ainda terá direito a um exuberante por de sol. Isso tudo, somado a simpatia e disponibilidade do Sr. Dino (proprietário do hotel), com certeza, nos faria voltar ao Melmar.

First impressions were great, room spacious, clean and in good condition considering it was towards the end of the season. All the staff were friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel had everything required for a truly relaxing holiday.

Sunset Panorama

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Melmar View and we're fortunate enough to have a free upgrade to the best suite. Excellent, friendly attentive owner/ manager, Dinosaur, who was on hand at most times to answer queries and assist. The hotel is very close to beaches and Fiskardo. We had 2 long walks....one around deserted villages from near Maganos and then into Fiskardo and back and the other linking the lighthouse and battery walks and back to Fiskardo inland. All 3 meals we had locally were very good...one at Apagia in Fiskardo, managed by Dinos' wife. Highly recommended

Lovely small hotel

We had a perfect stay at Melmar View. There are only 11 rooms which makes your stay feel personal and familiar. The pool was immaculate and had a great view, the food was good, breakfast was nice and because there are not 100’s of guests then if you want a fresh fried egg you can get it. The bar had a good selection and a very friendly barman who will create cocktails for you. The hotel has a great sunset view, so sundowners are a must. There is a small village 5 minutes walk away, with 3 taverna’s a supermarket and a fruit shop. There are 2 beaches a short drive away, the smaller one is great for a sunset, cocktails and food. The larger beach is better for the daytime and has a good taverna. Fiskardo is a 10 minute drive. It’s the nicest town on the island. Lots of boats and places to eat. No cars on the harbour so its really calm and safe, and very picturesque. Couldn’t fault the hotel or area, we had a really relaxing week here and will be going back.

Fantastic first family holiday

Just got back from a wonderful week at the Melmar view, our 4 month old daughters first trip abroad. Everything was perfect, clean spacious room with a sea view balcony, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool and beautiful views. The hotel is in a quiet and peaceful location but there are 3 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and plenty of beautiful beaches and restaurants a short drive away. Jorgens cocktails were great and the breakfast was very nice. Cannot fault this hotel, it was wonderful. They provided us with a travel cot and a steriliser which was an added bonus.

Superb Greek Hotel

This is by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in in Greece. The standard of comfort was excellent. The bedroom was fantastic and the bathroom was spotless, with a shower over the bath, so the floor remained dry. There were four clean towels every day, towels for the pool and towels and brollies to take to the beach. There’s an extensive range of books read too.

Fantastic sunset views in a quiet location

Fantastic sunset views from a lovely quiet hotel only a short drive to Fiskardo. Staff are fantastic, only having 11 rooms really gives the personal touch. Room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast a great selection, and the advice given on exploring the numerous quiet beaches Kefalonia has to offer, or things to do out of nearby Fiskardo, made our stay relaxing and fulfilling.

Fabulous boutique hotel with exceptional service

The service at this hotel was outstanding from start to finish and really made our stay here (I can't say I've ever been greeted at a hotel with a handshake before or made to feel so welcome). All members of staff were welcoming and polite and really couldn't do enough for you. The rooms, pool, dining room and all public areas were maintained to the highest standard. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel, go there if you want to feel like a VIP visitor!

Picturesque Hotel with great staffs and pool

Our stay at Melmar was a moment to remember for me and my fiance. Hotel is situated in a quite place at the north of island and only few minutes drive away from Fiskardo and Assos. The staffs were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable and pleasant. The deluxe room we booked was very clean and view from the balcony was something to die for and not to mention the crystal clear warm swimming pool which was the icing on the cake. All in all, it was an excellent experience staying at Melmar View.

Super entspanntes Hotel

Der Service im Hotel ist hervorragend und man kann sich am Pool sehr erholen. Sehr leckeres und frisches Frühstücksbuffet. Die Zimmer werden täglich komplett geputzt und es gibt täglich neue Habdtücher. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Durch den Ort geht eine Straße, die von dem Norden der Insel (Fiskardo 10min) bis zum Süden der Insel führt. Auf dem Weg in Richtung Süden kommt man in weniger als 20 Minuten mit dem Auto an dem Dorf Assos und dem Myrtos Beach vorbei. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hin.
