Room was clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. It is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood not within walking distanceti most dining options. It can be a pro or con depending on what one is looking for. One con is definitely the bed in my room which was too soft and squeaked with each movement I made. It seemed like the mattress is of average quality and overdue for replacement.

This hotel is a dump. No hand held shower. No water pressure. The bed is like mush. The coffee and orange juice are like water. Ants in the room. Overall seems unkept, dated, poorly maintained. Should be managed by a hotel chain, and not the university.

All the staff were amazing. Cheerful, informative, client oriented, very helpful, kind, respectful, and always at your service. The rooms are lovely and spacious. The beds very comfortable. However, the towels were very thin and small, I am 4' 10" and weigh 105lbs The breakfast though plentiful was cold, both the buffet, and the weekday one. I mean the eggs, the potatoes, the toast, the tea....

The hotel offers decent value for the rooms (spacious and clean) but the television is very old and the bathroom while clean, the floor tile could use updating as it is wearing through you can see the old colour underneath. You get a hot breakfast included too.

My favorite place to stay in Kingston. The building is beautiful and always well maintained. Staff always friendly, welcoming and professional. My only concern is the quality of the breakfast. Definitely some room for improvement there.

The facilities are spic-n-span clean. Our room was comfortable and adequate in size (but the bathroom seemed to be dated............but who cares) Our homemade breakfast , included in the room rate, was a Nobel Prize Winner. We will return for sure.

This was the perfect choice for an overnight visit with my Queen's attending family. It was very comfortable and clean and quiet, a convenient location away from the busy downtown, and included a delicious very filling breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed here many times and we will again. The included breakfast is amazing; greatly appreciated. The cost vs quality has been a good proposition for us. It's always a balance. The location for our purpose (visiting QueensU) has been a significant consideration and a big plus.. On this last 2-day stay, there was no hot water in our room. It was explained at checkout that a pump was down after a 3wk shutdown. But the hotel didn't tell us; we had to learn when we checked out. Had we known, as the hotel seemed to know, we would have stayed somewhere else this time and returned to the Conf Ctr next time.
