호텔 근처에있는 미니협곡들이랑 폭포 관광하기에 위치가 좋음 조식이 종류가 다양하고 맛도 괜찮음 다만 방이 좀 추움 신축인줄 알았는데 겉만 리모델링한건지 좀 구식인테리어임 그래도 깨끗함 수영장이있는데 가을이라 운영안하는듯함

별로 유쾌하진 않은 숙소
가격대비해서 좋다고 하긴 어렵습니다. 후기를 보고 좋다고 생각했는데 건물의 신관과 구관이 있는 것인지 제가 묵은 방은 시설도 좀 오래됐습니다. 무엇보다도, 인종차별적인 이유인지는 모르겠으나 중국인들과 동양인만 한쪽에 몰아둔 것 같아 기분이 좋지 않았습니다. 방음이 되지 않아 옆방에서 떠드는 중국인들의 소리 때문에 제대로 잠을 잘 수 없었는데 동양인들은 다 비슷하다고 생각해서 그런지 제가 투숙한 방 쪽은 다 중국인이었고 레스토랑 위층은 서양인들이었습니다. 물론, 이게 방의 등급때문에 그럴 수도 있어 차별이라 확언은 못하겠습니다. 프론트의 직원은 매우 친절했기 때문에 나쁜 의도는 아니었을 것이라고 생각하려 합니다. 그래도 이용하시는 분들은 참고하시라고....

조용한 마을에 좋은 호텔
링로드 중에 일정상 어쩔수없이 묵은 곳인데 주변 조용하고 조금 나가면 마트도있고(빨리 닫지만요) 화장실도 정말 깨끗하고 좋았구요 티비도 나와서 구경도 잘 했구요 가격은 참... 비쌉니다 근데 한 20분쯤 저희 객실에 정전처럼 불이 나가는 일이 있었는데 와서 보더니 한참 뒤에 고쳐줬는데 놀랐냐거나 미안하단 말도 없더군요.. 그래도 호텔 자체 분위기는 참 좋았구요 프론트 직원은 여기 위치가 어디고 여기서 좀만 나가면 폭포랑 협곡 있다고 친절하게 알려주고 했어요ㅎ

위치 한적하고, 무엇보다 아침 조식이 좋았습니다. 샤워실은 특유의 물이 안빠지는 수채구멍이어서 불만족 스러웠습니다. 콘센트가 부족합니다

운전중 쉬어갈 만한 곳
체인인데 그 중에서도 최근에 지어진듯 시설이 좋습니다. 근교가 한적해서 뭔가 근처에서 할 만한 것은 없다고 느꼈습니다. 이동중 쉬어가기 좋은 곳입니다. 근처에 일찍닫는 마트하나, 음식점 하나 있어서 호텔 음식점 사용할 것 아니면 차타고 나가셔야 할 듯 합니다. 이용 중 딱히 불만 없었습니다. 프론트가 친절합니다.

overpriced
Super overpriced hotel I know it's the busiest season but the hotel price reaches normal 4star hotel in London. Hotel's wall is so thin, that I can even hear a person's name next to my door. the Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I think Iceland really should learn how to boost their tourism from the other european countries.

깨끗하고 친절하고 기대 이상입니다.
골든서클 관광후 요쿨살론으로 넘어가는 길에 숙박하게 되었습니다. 비크이뮈르달에 묵을까 조금더 운전해서 이쪽에 묵을까 고민했는데, 두군데 다 들른 결과 숙박을 이곳에서 한것은 좋은 선택이었습니다. 호텔 안내 사진에는 객실이 초라하게 나왔는데, 실제로는 깔끔하고 하얗다고만 느껴지고, 건물도 주변의 평화로운 분위기와 잘 어울리고, 바로 옆에 여행안내센터도 있습니다. 단한가지 단점은 조식이 (아이슬란드 타 숙박과 비교하여) 초라하다는 점입니다. 와플기계가 있었지만, 가격이 대동소이한 것에 반해 전반적으로 조식의 구성이 단촐합니다. 개인적으로 화산폭발 가능성으로 뉴스에 나온 첫날에 방문하여 다른 외국인관광객들과 함께 로비에서 많은 질문을 하였는데, 리셉션에 있던 매니저가 친절하게 하나하나 응대해 주어 좋았습니다. 단점이라고 느끼진 않았지만 참고로 말씀드리면 2층으로 가는 계단은 없어서 짐이 많으면 도움을 요청해야 합니다.

Modern and clean room and facility. Beautiful restaurant. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic.

This was one of my favorite stays while in Iceland. It was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was exceptional as well.

We were totally surprised by the hotel Klaustur. The accommodations and on-site restaurant were top notch. Definitely a must stay whenever we are back in this part of Iceland.

My only complaint is after dinner we went to get a drink and no one came . The bartender was serving too. No big deal but we would have stayed in restaurant instead if we knew

In a beautiful area. Fantastic facility and staff. Excellent included breakfast. Best dinner we’ve had in Iceland and not the most expensive (but still pricey). Room was amazing, with heated bathroom floor, separate tub and shower, heated towel rack, etc. This was our treat to ourselves.

Very modern property with attractive, comfortable rooms. The beds and pillows and bedding were all great. The bathroom, particularly the shower was enjoyable. Overall a very good experience. The exception being that the bathroom could have been cleaner. Hair on the floor, reddish-brown spots on stains on the toilet lid. But people are human, even good staff. The rest of the room was great so I guess they just missed these. Perhaps an update checklist or something?

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! They even had mimosas out with the continental breakfast! The front desk staff was extremely kind. We checked in very late and I had lost my iPhone charger. He checked the list and found for one for me and when he didn’t see one he lent me his personal cord for the night. We definitely recommend Hotel Klaustur!

The rooms were a bit small, and the orientation of the furniture meant there were no plug ins anywhere near the bed so was just a little inconvenient not having my cell phone or laptop near me when it needed to be charging. Otherwise was a nice hotel within walking distance to a few shops and waterfall, nice restaurant as well.

Very nice hotel wich seems to habe benne renovated recently. Comfy room with nice bed sheets and Occitane products. Excellent bar and restaurant.
