The check-in process was quick and easy. When I got to my room, it had a faint odor of smoke and residual feces in the toilet. I called the front desk and they said the hotel was full and it was a non-smoking hotel so there should be no smoking smell - but there was. The first night i had gotten in late so I didn't shower, but the next morning there was no hot water. They said there had been a water main break and the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors were affected. I was on the 5th floor. The hot water wasn't going to be fixed for a couple of days so they offered to set up "shower rooms". After 2 days there were some vacancies so they moved me to the first floor and gave me a credit for one night's stay. However, the new room had dogs across the hall that kept barking so not much sleep.
The hotel has recently been remodeled and it looks nice. Seems like the pipes are old (even after moving to first floor the hot water came and went, but it was like when you're in an apartment building and someone flushes the toilet in the room next to you).
The staff was very nice and friendly, and very apologetic. It's not their fault the water main broke and I did get a credit, but it wasn't enough to bring me back in the future. If you're staying for one night or so, this hotel could work for the price.
