Candlewood Hotel Alcoa Tenn

A little noisy from surrounding rooms. Carpet needs cleaned. Tile needs to be deep cleaned. Toilet seat broke. Toilet tank top mismatched. Doesn’t fit tank. Shower wall had several large cracks. PTAC air conditioner filters filthy ( I washed the filters in the sink). Refrigerator ice maker broke. Ice bin cracked on bottom.

Hotel was very clean - I was pleasantly surprised. Very roomy. Comfortable bed. Big desk area and full sized refrigerator

#1 Comfy bedding & bed! #2 Friendly, accommodating, helpful staff. #3 Lg fridge, cook top, microwave. Another poster mentioned smell - room smelled like Carpet Fresh, which quickly dissipated once air circulated. Great value! Close to airport.

This particular Candlewood was a great deal. Both in price and comfort. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Staff were great and hospitality phenomenal. Down side 3rd floor had a strong unrine odor that seeped into the room.

Good place to stay near airport. Complimentary transport to and from airport. I got a ride at 530 am. Walking distance to several restaurants. Good free coffee in lobby area.

Likes kitchen, bathtub, bed was comfy. Was dirty. Found socks left by previous tennanant, bugs in the window and the hallway smelled like urine. Not enough dishes to really do anything with. No directions on how to use stove. No window or fan except in bathroom to clear out and smoke from cooking.

Wonderful Facility all the Way Around

This was a very spacious, clean and comfortable stay. Everything you could need from a suite was at your fingertips. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The place was spotless. Very close to airport and restaurants. Felt like a safe area. These rooms would be ideal for an extended stay. Free laundry room was ideal for washing up clothing after a business trip so I could simply return home and unpack.

I thought this was gross, it smelled awful. I would not stay there.

The property was ok. Didn’t like the fact that housekeeping will only clean after you have stayed 7 nights. That seems unsanitary. Also, if you needed fresh towels you had to walk them to the front desk to get new ones, that wasn’t cool either. Room could have been cleaner also. What I did like was the location, free shuttle and the set up of the room. Not sure I would stay there again.

8 out of 10 is about right.

The property is handy to TYS airport. Check-in was easy. Desk clerk was friendly. The place looks a little neglected, and could use a little love. Bed was comfortable. Shower water was hair-trigger between too hot and too cold. It's fine for a night before a flight. Longer-term stay might have a challenge or two. I'd give it about an 8 out of 10.

We took a motorcycle trip and needed a last minute hotel! They were very friendly and got us right in. Check in/Check out process was very easy and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfy! However, we did have a little damage to our room prior to arrival. There was a decently sized hole in the carpet right in the center of the room and there was water damage with a little mold above the shower. We did book 3 rooms though and only one was this was. We did not utilize all the property amenities as we loaded up early to ride. Overall, our stay was decent for the price paid.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Convenient to several restaurants and shops. I stay here every time I come to the area and have not been disappointed yet !

The staff was nice but the room was very noisey with many dogs barking from rooms, and our room smelled bad, so they gave me another room that smelled too.

The lack of housekeeping was glaring. Our floor reeked of cat urine, as a guest deposited their used cat litter in a garbage bag and left it near the elevator trash receptacle. It was disgusting!
