Your own space in paradise
Excellent stay the staff were so helpful. Do bear in mind that you are non the south of the island and abit isolated however there are 3 free transfers a day into town/Sairee & 5 transfers back. The roads are very steep so you may not want to drive it yourself unless experienced on a motorbike. The villa was amazing, had everything you would need. Wifi was a bit hit & miss as we were there during some storms which seemed to cut it out regularly, think it was more issues with by he islands Wi-Fi that the hotel itself. There are several restaurants on the island that will deliver to your room & we used this a few times, always worked out fine. The hotel also sells some basics in the room minibar & at reception which was handy for breakfasts, etc & the prices were reasonable. Overall a great stay & would come back again if I could.

The property is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and nice. The accommodations are lovely and the views are stunning. Just note that you need to be in good physical condition to get anywhere from your villa if you are situated down or up the hill.

Beautiful villas with stunning views
The customer service was amazing. Nat moved us to a different villa because our original room was next to construction. She was super helpful. The villas all have amazing views but some are more modern and updated than others. C1 is a beautiful villa but it's showing it's age and needs a face lift. C5B, which is right over the ocean, is really cozy and comfortable with a small kitchen, perfect for two people.

Not What You Expect
Not-so-good. I hope this stay would be my relaxing one but it’s totally not. The service didn’t meet expectations. To begin with, they changed type of villa from the one I booked without telling. Next, they forgot my food order. Lastly, it was so annoying. I had to woke up early since not even 9am as they had construction site nearby fixing something.

The villa we stayed in was amazing! Incredible panoramic views of the water, lots of boats to watch. It was a short 2 minute walk down to the water to do some of the best snorkelling I’ve done in Thailand. (Saw black tip reef sharks) so yes there is sharks in Shark Bay. Had our own private infinity pool which was great! The staff was great, very helpful and even picked us up at the pier and took us to town at no charge. The room was very modern with a full kitchen, stocked with items for breakfast as well. Only thing to mention is there is lots of construction going on with new units but they are respectful and quiet. All work stopped early and they did not start so early as to wake you.

Wir hatten die P5 Villa und ich muss sagen: Der Ausblick war wunderschön. Der Pool ist nicht zu klein aber auch nicht zu groß. Ideal für 2 Leute um darin sich abzukühlen und zu entspannen. Die Terasse war relativ Groß und man hatte hier genug Platz, um sich breit zu machen. Etwas enttäuscht war ich von der Villa... die Zimmer bzw. der Raum wirken auf den Fotos viel Größer als es ist. Zudem hat die Villa leider etwas gerochen (ich kann nicht beschreiben nach was). Am Anfang fand ich das schon etwas unangenehm aber irgendwann gewöhnt man sich daran. Das Bad hat mir leider nicht so gefallen. Hier ist definitiv eine Renovierung notwendig (Toilettenbrille ist schon sehr abgenutzt, Dusche hat viele Gebrauchsspuren). Während man duscht wird leider das ganze Bad nass. Wir mussten danach immer ein Handtuch auf dem Boden legen, damit unsere Fuße trocken bleiben. Frische Handtücher bekommt man auch nur alle 3 Tage.... Die Reinigungskraft kam leider auch schon immer um 9:00/9:30 Uhr und wollte die Villa putzen. Falls man noch schläft wird man bewusst leider von der Reinigungskraft aufgeweckt... Also im Großen und Ganzen war die Villa Okay. Das einzig einwandfreie hier war der Ausblick, die Terrasse und der Pool. Ob wir wieder die gleiche Unterkunft nehmen würden?: Ich denke eher nicht. Es gibt auf Koh Tao viele andere Villen mit einem Pool und einen mega Ausblick :)

Stayed in villa C16. Such a beautiful villa, the sunrise and sunset from the veranda was out of this world and could be all enjoyed by your own private pool. Couldn’t recommend to stay a shark Villas anymore. I was so pleased with everything the place had to offer. Many thanks.

Cape Shark Villas is a gem in Koh Tao. Ocean views and spacious well appointed villas make the best home base for a vacation on the island. This time we were in C1 which offers privacy and a large outdoor area for sunbathing around the pool. Special thank you to Ploi ( I hope I’m spelling that right) This was our 2nd time staying there and she always made efforts to ensure we had a great stay.

Mycket trevligt hotell, hjälpsam personal.
Otroligt trevligt hotell. Fantastisk utsikt att vakna till ,rogivande, mycket hjälpsam personal. Rekommenderas starkt. Att tänka på: Alla rummen ligger var och en för sig dvs. Går du ur rummet hamnar du på altanen. Kan vara lite läskigt om du har små barn. Mycket bra om ni åker flera par blir väldigt ”privat”. Mycket mygg köp med myggspray! Ligger en bit från händelsernas centrum går inte att promenera. Hotellet har gratis transfer mellan 8-17:00 dock funkar det i princip bara att åka från hotellet. Hem får man ta taxi. Kostar mellan 300-700 baht.

Astonishing view! Really enjoy our honeymoon with that perfect view all day all night! We were lucky as our last night there are a lot of falling star! Just turn off all the light and u will be impress by that stunning star view! There’s only a small TV in the kitchen, although we have never turn it on. Who need TV when u can enjoy the view so much? Kitchen equipment was very basic, if u need to cook, make sure u bring ur own amenities. There’s many choices for food delivery if u would skip the hassle. U must know the fact that this hotel is located at hill, pls expect steep walking! I won’t even think of renting regular motorcycle, because I’m not an experienced rider. Hotel does provide transportation at certain hour, but if u stay far it could take some walk. We stay at C8 which is a bit far from reception but is close to the rocky where u can dive into sea. It’s two bedroom villa, we were only two person so only occupied one room. Privacy wise is not great as there’s gate or wall to stop other from walking to ur villa. If u prefer privacy should have skip this. But hard to beat the view at this unit coz it located at the very end of the hill, just few more step and u can dive into sea!

absolutely AMAZING views. the uniqueness of the natural rock in each room was nice. staff very accommodating. beds comfortable. nice kitchen and fridge stocked with water that was free, ice cold beers, food that can be purchased for a reasonable fee. st is up with an awesome snorkeling tour. highly recommend!!! only one con: many steps to climb. moped would be hard to manuever to hotel, only locals could manage the roads. worth it for the incredible house and views!!!

Tolle Poolvilla mit traumhafter Aussicht
Die Villa liegt oberhalb der Bucht und hat eine klasse Aussicht auf diese. Strand gibt es nicht, aber über einen steilen Weg gelangt man auf einen Sonnensteg an den Felsen am Meer. Alles ist top in Ordnung, gute Ausstattung. Da die Unterkunft abseits der Orte liegt, gibt es ein Shuttle zum Hauptort.

nous avons touché pratiquement le paradis . nous avions loué la Villa C18 une vue magique sur la mer ,un extérieur super une terrasse en bois immense avec tout le confort .une piscine pas trop grande avec une eau chaude .un service de ménage au quotidien ,qui inclus le changement des draps et de toutes les serviettes toutes les 3 nuits .par contre la villa C8 juste en dessous de notre villa était en travaux beaucoup de bruit et tous les jours .beaucoup de vas et vient également des équipes de ménage en scooter qui nous ont pas permis de nous reposer comme nous le souhaitions .

Best view on the island. No doubt we'll be back.
Best room ever with very small pool overlooking shark bay. Access to hotel is not easy. We rented a motor bike and were able to manage just ok. We will definitely come back.

Hotel was great. Staff are very helpful and the service wasn't like anything i've ever experienced before. Only downside is it is a bit secluded so if you are wanting to stay somewhere close to restaurants and night life etc stay somewhere else.

+ traumhafte Aussicht + grosszügige, stilvolle Zimmer + Privatsphäre + Transfer zum Hafen bei An- und Abreise - steter Hintergrundlärm durch den Generator des benachbarten Jamakhiri-Hotels - Handtücher werden nur alle drei Tage gewechselt Ein Wort zur Anreise: Ja, die Zufahrt ist holprig, aber auf der Insel sind umfangreiche Strassenarbeiten im Gang, deshalb dürfte sich das schnell ändern. Empfehlung: Für die Dauer des Aufenthalts ein Motorrad mieten (150-200 Baht pro Tag), dann ist die Strecke locker zu bewältigen.

Great view and beautiful pool
The villas were on the best spot on the island..recommend getting scooter for access to the great islands infrastructure where you can get everything. The rooms were very clean and grounds kept in good condition. Staff so helpful too and went out of their way to help.

Perfect familyholiday by a perfeft view! Location is beatiful, views awsome but note that it means remoteness to main "service areas" and steep hills. Although there is a shuttle service to take you to main villages it's only one way so we rented a scooter and ATV (taxi's are quite expensive) but the roads are not for beginners to drive. Staff is absolutely nice though cleaning could have been more careful some days. Villa was just great although air in the downstairs bedroom was fusty.

A nice but not very convinient stay at Cape Shark
We oredered a pool villa at Cape Shark. They way to the villa is a bit scary with many steep roads. In general their villa's are located far from the center of Koh Tao. They offer free transportation to the center but not back to the villa. A taxi back to the villa costs 600 Baht which is not cheap relatively. Renting a bike is not an option (at least for me) due to the scary roads... Other than the far location, the villa itslef is really great! Inside it's clean and spacious. Nice kitchen. A small but very nice pool with an AMAZING view to the bay (which might worth the far location). Another problem is that Cape Shark does not have a restourant, meaning that there's no breakfast. The only option is to take their shuttel to the center or order in some food to the room (which might be nice). There's a restourant about 15 minutes walk (steep roads...). The nearest beach is about 20 minutes walk down the hill. We were there only 2 nights and we took the boat trip around the island which was offered from the very nice lady from the reception. The trip was really good and includes peakups from and to the villa.

绝对的全五分！！！太让人难忘了~
无敌海景！全家老小都满意！ 1.选这家酒店的时候纠结了很久，就因为酒店没有餐厅，不过这也正是酒店的特色 2.说无敌海景一点都不夸张！定了一套豪华别墅和一套两卧室的别墅，景观都是无敌无敌无敌美啊！！但不是每个卧室都很看到海景，一般就主卧能享受~~不过已经是超级享受了，毕竟待在卧室的时间是少数，大多时间都在客厅和茅草亭。 3.特别赞的一点，厨房设施绝对是应有尽有，我们定的deluxe Villa，连松饼机、烧烤炉都有，为此我们专门去市场买了松饼粉做给小朋友吃，还有买海鲜来晚上自己BBQ，全家老小都非常享受在别墅自己做饭，然后在茅草亭一边吃饭一边吹海风的惬意假期！ 4.不用担心在别墅没有吃的：自己做的话，每天酒店都有好几班免费车送到码头，码头的L船家售票亭进去100米就有一小家生鲜市场，应有尽有，什么都可以买到！如果不想自己做的话，每间别墅里都有山脚外卖的电话，一直可以送餐到晚上11点。 5.跳闸的事情虽然有一天发生过，但是很短暂，10来分钟吧，基本没有影响。 6.虽然不是每天打扫房间，但是只要你需要打扫，打电话给总台就行。 7.在能享受如此美景的情况下，如此亲切的价格真的是性价比太好了！ 8.酒店坐班车到码头其实很快的，就10-15分钟的样子 9.酒店是有2条小路可以下到海边下水游泳的，虽然鱼不多，但是每天都有一日游的浮潜船会在离我们游泳这里100-200米的地方停留浮潜，因为就是浮潜的必到点鲨鱼湾，自己都可以从酒店游到那里去的 最后，对于Cape Shark，留给我们全家的记忆都太美好了！横向比较过同档次的酒店，这里绝对值得推荐！推荐！推荐！重要的事情说三遍！

Great option for an affordable price
Very nice authentic place to stay for a family. Rooms were cleaned and additional water supplies were provided daily. However, it was a challenge to get there, quite complicated and steep mountain tracks. Overall, we loved the place.

Hay opciones muchísimo mejores en Koh Tao.
Si puedes elegir un lugar más cercano a la costa, lo agradecerás. En el interior de este hotel "alguien" cortó los cables de los quads (ATV) que habíamos alquilado. La propiedad es más que sospechosa. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y muy mal equipadas. Si tiene algo aceptable es la vista.
