Wonderful family run business in a beautiful, peaceful location. Friendly staff. Swimming pool, shop and option of drinks and dining on sight. We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

We have visited Rattana many times and are always impressed by the kindness and welcome from the family and all the staff. A little oasis , with a lovely pool, tucked away between the beach and the main street. Spotlessly clean. Amazing food and service.

The staff were polite and friendly. The apartments are in lovely surroundings with exotic plants and nice swimming pool. The apartment was ok but the small wardrobe was useless for more than 1 person..quite a few mosquitoes around but that is un-avoidable ..All in all we will probably return next year

The beautiful woman who checked us in and out went above and beyond! I booked the wrong night and she allowed me to change with no charge, spoke great english, booked fight tickets for us, airport ride etc. All with a big smile on her face. I think I'm in love haha

こちらの施設は、老朽化しているが、 場所のロケーションとスタッフの親切な対応はとても良いと思います。 特にレセプションの女性のスタッフが親切だ。また利用したいと思います。

The staff at Rattana house are some of the best I’ve seen. So kind, patient and willing to help with any questions. The location is beautiful with an amazing garden full of colour. Can hear birds in the morning and have a quiet start to your day. The restaurant at the entrance is great for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Rattana guesthouse 1 e verdieping kamer met balkon 2 ligstoelen , doesh 2 flesjes water elke dag handdoeken , lakens verschoond om de 3/4 dagen dus , poetsen elke dag je kamer , het is wat in oudere staat maar voor die prijs in 2023 € 30 per nacht alles ligt paar meters lopen van de zee , centrum , restaurantje , supermarkt , scooter verhuur . Alles is er groen mooi verzorgd , zwembad alles is gezellig & rattana zelf kun je ook ontbijten. Lunch dinner , als je veel leest in Nederlands boeken zelf meenemen je mag ze daar laten En de eigenaresse en dochter de rest zijn hartstikke aardig Veel plezier

Amazing family run business.
Only stayed a night, but place had warm, friendly & welcoming vibes. Family owned & operated. Yes, the place is dated & could do with some minor TLC. But it’s a room with all the things you need on a trip to a beach island in Samui.

Good location, not the cleanest
Overall fine for 1 night stay and location is great and nice if you want to chill by the pool. AC worked well. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. There’s so much to do in the area and a close walk to the beach. The location is also pretty quiet. Cons: Hotel room had clear signs of termite droppings that were not cleaned up when we got to the room. Big cockroach in bathroom but it’s Thailand so expect bugs anywhere you stay. Beds not super comfy (hard and springy) and paper thin sheets

A lovely stay
We stayed for 4 nights initially but on the second day enjoyed it so much we extended our stay another night. The staff were incredible both in the ease of extending our stay, and the fantastic amenities they provided including booking us a taxi and laundry. They had a lovely restaurant attached which we had breakfast at almost daily and the shop was great for stocking up on water, beer and snacks. The location of Rattana is perfect, so close to the beach and restaurants on the Main Street without being loud. The star for us (aside from the staff) was the gorgeous pool that we enjoyed every day. Would love to stay again!

Nice and comfortable place to stay.
Nice place within walking distance of the beach. Nice owners and staff. Good pool. Comfortable bed. Good room amenities. This is a highly recommended place to stay in Koh Samui.

Einaches, aber ordentliches Guesthouse. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, mit einem Pool und sehr ruhig. Man bekommt vom Straßenlärm nichts mit.

I liked this hotel
Ratana hotel for three nights. It was normal average for 3 rating but very comfortable and clean. No hair dryer, bath amenities are nothing but very clean. Family own hotel and food is very resonable and tasty. Close to everything including beach They also have laundry service and cheap as well.

Very good area 100 meter from beach. And close to party. Good pool at the hotel. Room size In bungalow is okay and bacic , all furniture was broken, bed okay but hard like the floor. Breakfast was good.

En général le séjour s’est Bien passé, cependant nous avions réserver un bungalow piscine pour 150€ et quand nous sommes arrivés le bungalow était pris, nous avons eu une chambre standard à 112€... la responsable devait nous donner le bungalow le lendemain (comme elle nous la dis) mais finalement a changé d’avis et nous devions payer en plus afin d’avoir le bungalow, ce qui est hors de question sachant qu’on l’avait deja payé!! Le point positif c’est qu’il se trouve au début de la rue qui bouge « chaweng »

Cozy bungalow near all the services
I had great 9 days staying here in a bungalow room. Friendly staff, good food and services, swimming pool, close to beach and also close enough to the nightlife. Still nice calm yard with all the plants and the pool.

Beste Lage zum Chaweng Beach
Aufenthalt in Superior Zimmer mit schönem Balkon und Poolblick. Das Zimmer war einfach und ausreichend ausgestattet. Leider war kein Safe vorhanden. Am Tag etwas Fluglärm vom nahe gelegenen Flughafen. Nachts aber sehr ruhig. Zum Chaweng Beach und zum Nachtleben ca.100m (idealer Standort) Gutes Frühstück, kleiner Laden und Wäscherei. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder ;-)

Wunderbares Mittelklasse-Hotel mit familiärer Note in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand (1 min) und Partylocations (5 min). In der Anlage ist dafür sehr ruhig, guter Pool und die thailändische Familie, die die Rezeption inkl. Open-Air-Restaurant und kleinem Kiosk betreibt ist super sympathisch und gibt einem das Gefühl, hier zu Hause zu sein.

Nous avions réservé un bungalow mais à notre arrivée il n’y en avait pas de disponible car des clients avaient décidé de prolonger leur séjour. On nous a donné une chambre supérieure mais les portes des voisins très bruyantes et les murs pas très isolés , on entendait les autres clients alors nous aurions préféré avoir notre bungalow pour plus de tranquillité qui était réservé depuis plusieurs mois.

Immer wieder gerne!
Die Zimmer sind geräumig und haben alles was man braucht, allerdings hat bei mir ein Stuhl gefehlt. Und im Bad war ganz leichter Schimmelbefall, ich schätze das ist der Luftfeuchte geschuldet und war für mich kein Problem. Der Service war klasse, es ist sogar eine Art Restaurant vorhanden (günstige Preise). Das Personal ist super nett. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut - man ist sofort auf der Hauptstr. und auch ganz schnell am Strand. Dadurch das es ein wenig versteckt liegt ist es auch sehr ruhig.

idyllisches Hotel in Strandnähe
wir verbrachten 19 wunderbare Nächte in einem Bungalow. das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gesäubert, jeden Tag frische Handtücher und 2 Flaschen Wasser. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand. Supermarkt, Restaurants und Shoppingmeile ebenfalls fussläufig zu erreichen. Frühstück und Essen im Hotel sehr lecker und günstig. Preis-leistungsverhältnis top.

The bungalows are old but clean. We switched to a room after two days which was much better. The place is really close to everything by foot including the beach. The staff is really accomodating. I would recommand for the price..

Da Hochsaison war musste ich diesmal auf ein preiswertes Hotel ausweichen. Es war wirklich sehr preiswert. Beim Check-In hiess es, mein Zimmer sei nicht frei. Ich bekomme eine Nacht ein besseres und muss dann umziehen. Ich will bei 6 Nächten doch ankommen und bleiben. Auch sonst hinterlässt das Hotel einen verwahrlosten Eindruck. Kaputte Liegestühle am Pool, streunende Hunde und Katzen mit lauten Kämpfen in der Nacht. Die Betreiberfamilie ist ganz nett. Müsste aber einmal Geld investieren sonst verfällt die Anlage immer mehr.

Wonderful Hotel!
Highly recommend the Ratanna. The staff is absolutely wonderful!! Our room was comfortable and very clean! The location is perfect and ate multiple times at the restaurant and it was delicious !
