Thank you so much for taking time to review us.It is always helpful for our small team to see that their hard work is really appreciated and of course affects future bookings for our small business. Yes, the municipality do turn off the water from time to time and it is not normally a problem. However, there was a problem with your toilet that night , reflected by the discount we granted. We actually had a plumber out the next day to fix this one off issue, so although air locks can be a minor problem in the mornings, that particular problem was fixed as usual as soon as was possible. I am surprised that you found 139 euros to be expensive for a family of 4 including dinner, bed and breakfast and drinks. you were of course aware at the point of bookings and on receipt of our booking confirmation that you had booked room only, but we were delighted that you chose to have both dinner and breakfast with us. We hope you had a great holiday and will return to South Africa one day.

Hi Kate! Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. we really appreciate it! Your feedback is very kind. You are right that the main road in Komatipoort is not particularly attractive, but the fact that we are only 8 Km from the Kruger, 5 Km from Mozambique and 64 Km from Swaziland makes this a special place. also, if you come again, you must visit our lovely golf club with a stunning view onto the Crocodile River and Kruger. We sincerely hope you will return as we enjoyed having your family to stay with us.

We also agree that whilst the surrounding residential area is lovely with lots of beautiful mature trees in the streets, the main street through town is a little scruffy. The municipality are now working hard to clean up after the market traders, but as our little town gets busier and busier, it is hard for them! We hope that soon the standard of that main road will reflect that the fact that Komatipoort is a major gateway to the Kruger park. hope to see you again soon!

I am so sorry that you feel this way about your stay. i know you were not happy to be the only other party staying when we had a large group of Belgian tourists travelling together. At the point of your stay, the mattresses were 14 months old, so I'm sorry you found them uncomfortable. We do take on board your comment about the lighting, which is ecofriendly and takes some time to become bright enough. We have changed the globes to brighter, but still ecofriendly ones.
