Io mio soggiorno di 7 giorni presso Hermes Hotel ha un po' deluso le aspettative. In merito alla struttura, in linea generale è bella, camere carine, bella vista ed una bella piscina. I punti negativi riguardano innanzitutto la colazione, sempre la stessa, mai una variazione, e veramente poche scelte, e non di primissima qualità. Per quanto riguarda la camera, bello il balcone, ampio, ma i letti bassi e molto scomodi. Poche prese elettriche, e in bagno non c'era un sistema per deumificare e asciugare, di vitale importanza dato che la zona è molto umida e i panni sul balcone non si sono mai asciugati. Inoltre, la tenda della doccia approssimativa, il bagno si allagava per forza di cose ad ogni doccia. In merito alla zona, l'hotel è abbastanza vicino al mare, sebbene a piedi personalmente il non farei la strada che passa dalla principale strada a scorrimento veloce dell'isola. Inoltre Kefalos una vera delusione, non so so gli altri anni era diversa, ma veramente una località morta. E quindi la sera almeno 25 minuti per Kardamena o 45 per Kos City. Comunque l'hotel con davvero qualche piccolo accorgimento e miglioria in più, può fare un gran salto di qualità.

La posizione della struttura è davvero splendida soprattutto le camere ai piani alti fronte mare. La prima camera che ci è stata assegnata purtroppo non andava bene perché nel prato difronte c’era famiglia di gatti e mio figlio è allergico..Se non ci avessero cambiato sistemazione avremmo cercato un altro hotel ma devo dire che poi la proprietà è stata super disponibile, gentile e attenta alle nostre esigenze e ci è stata anche offerta l extra della colazione.

Hotel a poche centinaia di metri dal mare. Situato su un'altura con una bella vista sul mare e su Kastry. Sempre gradevolmente ventilato. Piscina grande e ben tenuta.

Great hotel!
Very friendly staff, always cheerful! very clean and amazing breakfast (the best special pancakes). Great views of the bay and within walking distance of the beach. I read a few negative comments before my stay and I was quite surprised when I arrived as I could not find anything negative about the hotel experience.

Mouldy room, nice pool
Hotel has a nice pool, nice view, unfortunately has very dated rooms full of mould that seems to be constantly painted over. Breakfast is only 2 peices of toast.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Hermes Hotel. I am sorry to read that you felt our rooms were dated and full of mould. They were actually refurbished less than four years ago but we will certainly look into any improvements that can be made during the winter season. What I don't understand is your comment on breakfast being only 2 pieces of toast when you never came to eat breakfast. I do believe that you were told when you arrived that we have a breakfast menu and that Expedia guests are welcome to anything from the menu and there was no extra charge. Forgive me for finding your comment unfair to say the least. Nevertheless, I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding. I hope you'll give us the opportunity in the future to solve this misunderstanding and present you with a proper Hermes Hotel breakfast.

I came only to Kefalos for my birthday, I had a wonderful stay. The island is great, the hotel is completed and staff adorable. I made wonderful meetings ... I return as quickly as possible !

Hadde et veldig fint opphold på Hermes hotell. De som driver det er utrolig hyggelige og gjør alt for at du skal trives på oppholdet. Frokosten er veldig god. Den inkluderte maten er enkel, men de har mye annet å velge mellom til en liten penge. To ganger i uka er det også middagsbuffé man kan være med på. Hjemmelaget gresk mat som smaker utrolig godt!

overall nice hotel,but horible breakfast.Eventhou breakfast is included it's only toast or cereals. for Expedia clients small amount of cut fruits and yougurt was available.For other food you have to pay extra.

Diana the Owner A remarkable woman We arrived at the height of the season and although we had a reservation the hotel was fully booked, Diana apologized moved us to another hotel and promised to take care of us personally and so it was Diana concern indulge us amazing breakfasts at no additional charge and taking care of our needs, we will definitely go back for a visit at our home on the island of Kos it with Diana Diana, thank you for a wonderful vacation from your friends in Israel

hotel situato in una baia fantastica, vicino al mare e in una zona dell'isola molto naturale e selvaggia. Vicino alle spiagge più belle dell'isola. Nonostante sia in una zona tranquilla, l'hotel ha tutti i confort a portata di mano, come noleggi di auto / motorini / bici ecc............................anche per il mangiare c'è una serie innumerevoli di taverne dove mangiare bene a costi che in italia ce li sogniamo.... locali dove andare a bere qualcosa ce ne sono alcuni di molto carini a due passi dal mare. riassumendo posso dire che il tutto può andare bene sia a chi vuole una vacanza tranquilla, ma anche come a noi ci piace una vacanza all'avventura nel senso che ci piace girare l'isola. infatti abbiamo noleggiato uno scooter e siamo andati a vederci un po di spiagge in giro per l'isola e ne abbiamo viste di veramente belle, come ad esempio cavo paradiso beach, camel beach, exotic beah. Siamo andati in famiglia con due bambini: ospitalita', gentilezza e cortesia sempre ! La prima notte abbiamo dormito in una studios per 4 ma era umido ed il giorno dopo ce l'hanno cambiato su richiesta ! Pulito ! Panorama stupendo !

The hotel is nice.
The owners of the hotel were wonderful. Location is good. we stayed in the main building, so all the time we heard the phone ringing in the reception, music from the bar was loud, sometimes unit 2 am. Oh and the breakfast... the one's that are included is just toasts or cereal with tea/coffee.

Our 2nd stay
Diana & Sebastian are always eager to please, but, if you pay the basic price, you get basic accommodation, a very basic breakfast, no air-con and it costs €25 for a late check-out. Nevertheless, the hotel is kept very clean, it is in a lovely location with views over the bay and the swimming pool is the biggest in Kefalos. We'll definitely be going back!

Perfectly pleasant accommodation
I stayed at the Hermes in June 2015. My room was a twin in a seemingly new/refurbished building, ie it was very modern and fresh. The sheets and towels were replaced daily by the cleaner. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was good, albeit a little small, with plenty of hot water available all day. There was a small fridge which I used for bottles of water. There was an air conditioning unit in the room however this was subject to a daily fee. Wifi was also available in the room (with "excellent" connection), however this was also subject to a fee. I didn't try either so can't comment on their performance. There was a small issue with the wardrobe in that it smelled damp and very foosty, so I didn't use it and kept the doors closed. The pool area was spacious with plenty of padded sunbeds. AIRPORT TRANSFERS - I arrived into the airport late at night and the only option was a taxi which cost 30 Euros. For the return, there is a bus service which costs TWO EUROS!! It was a modern coach and air conditioned. COFFEE LOVER? - head to Bravo Cafe down at the beachfront for your morning espresso americano. It's freshly ground, Italian and the best in town. BEER - draught MYTHOS is ubiquitous - it's very smooth, always served ice cold and available everywhere for 2 Euros or 2.5 Euros. SEAFOOD - wonderful fish restaurant "LIMIONAS" is ten minute drive from Kefalos and located on the most stunning setting, overlooking the sea and a stunning beach.
