Dear Carol, Thank you for your review. We have added new upgraded and enlarged triplerooms and have changed our description of 2 rooms. Your room was an upgraded triple. I am sorry that you were not happy with it, if you have told us we would have happily give you the 2 bedroom triple which is in the front building. Dear Vicky, Thank You for your review. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our hotel.You were probably misinformed about the area of our hotel which is one of the safest in Selcuk. I myself as the woman owner of the hotel since 40 years, have not seen any criminality and am happy to walk or bike to town centre any time of the night. Most of our guests walk to centre (which is max 10 minutes walk) at nighttime and we haven't heard a single complaint. Hotel is centrally located below the castle on the main road, surrounded by residential houses and other hotels. The area is full of shops and supermarkets some open for 24 hours. People sit outside chatting, children playing outside till late in the summer nights, There is a kindergarten just behind and a large playground and a park for children. There has been no criminal reports in the area. It is very unfortunate to incuse the area as a no go zone which does not reflect the truth. It is also a big injustice to the town of Selcuk itself and a big accusation when you say 'kids and families beware' when there is no single incident or harassment at all. We are always praised with our service and the decoration, atmosphere of the hotel reflecting our family history, with which we are very proud of. Pls note that you have stayed in our property in August plus during the Turkish Holiday time(Bayram) which is the highest season throughout the whole year for Turkey. Our prices were lower before and after that peak time. But naturally our prices were the highest of the year during this time. So the comparison cannot be considered relevant. Kind Regards
