Great for the price
We just stayed one night and the hotel was nice. Very clean and good AC. They have a nice breakfast in a gazebo in the morning that was very good.

Simple but clean and well maintained accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also in a great location with the town of Arenal being only a short walk away.

The shower head was very dirty & caked with sediments and it was not attached well; there was plain tape on the shower head and as much water sprayed backward against the wall as came out of the shower head itself. The mattress was extremely firm & slim and I did not find it very comfortable. Neighborhood dogs were very loud, but there's nothing the hotel can do about that. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dear William, sorry for the shower, we already took action on that, and fortunaly is something easy to handle. We have orthopedic mattresses, most people like and enjoy that, but sorry that was not the case. We also have rooms with spring mattress, too bad you did not let us know to change your room. In any case, thanks for your observation and overall thanks for staying with us!

Hospedaje comodo, atención calida y lugar hermoso
El lugar tiene una excelente ubicación, con un jardín hermoso a la orilla de un río donde sirven el desayuno. La atención de Ana, en la recepción y Blanquita en el desayunador es súper cálida y amable. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero impecables y con aire acondicionado, suficiente para descansar y salir todo el día de paseo al Volcán, al rio termal, rio celeste, etc. Gracias, quedamos muy satisfechos con su servico.

Nice property
The property is located close from downtown. There is river that runs across the property, and there is also a lake, so there is a lot of nature in the property. This hotel is very quiet, and the staff is very friendly.

Nice little river running beside property. Some wildlife and a pond with ducks. Seemed like a good variety of people staying on the property the same time that my wife and I were there. Actual owner of property residing close by. Difficult to find location at 1st. Couldn't see any signs. Good breakfast, but very skimpy. No extras allowed without extra charge. No cooler in room. Shower set-up not the greatest, and very small sink. Fairly clean property, though.

Good value for money
This is a family run establishment, it is clean and pleasant with a good breakfast. We had noisy neighbours on the first night but the owners had a chat with them and they were quiet on the second night. Good value money.

Beautiful place to stay. Short walk to the town centre. Apart from the occasional howler monkey it was ver quiet. In the morning we saw an otter and turtle in the river on the property and in the afternoon a number of large iguanas were sunning themselves on the grass!

Relaxing stay at clean hotel
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It had a quiet, private setting. The staff spoke excellent English. The room was clean, and the breakfast was very good and freshly prepared. Very good value.

Check-in here and stay in a quieter part of La Fortuna! 15-minute walk from the “parada” (bus station ). 3 mins to the supermarket. The rooms are impeccably clean, beds comfortable. a/c in the room and a tranquil view out of each window. Breakfast is wonderful, in an outdoor dining area that overlooks the Río Burío. Access to the shared kitchen and a kettle in the breakfast area. Evenings, the toads and crickets serenaded us! Tour service isn’t the most-informed, but helpful nonetheless. I discussed my budget and got relevant suggestions. Convenient that they accept payment either in foreign card or cash.

No Major Problems With Hotel Colores
There are six units are this hotel. The grounds are clean and appealing. It’s located a short distance outside of Fortuna; it’s too far to walk to town and restaurants. A grocery store is within walking distance. Our room was clean; not any luxury but the essentials are provided. Beds are wooden, topped with a FIRM mattress.

Nice small hotel in La Fortuna
Near downtown La Fortuna, this hotel is really charming. The personnel is really helpful and polite. We had to do a bit of laundry to do which the hotel handled perfectly. Thank you very much we enjoyed our stay.

Nice beautiful property, good location, walkable to downtown, friendly service. Peaceful and away from the road. A river or creek running behind the property and can enjoy the sound when having breakfast. Good breakfast options.

There is no a dry walkway from the parking lot to the building. If it is raining, chances are your luggage will get wet and dirty.

Arrived at the hotel. Office closed. I was told I was at the wrong hotel. U had to call Hotels.com twice and after one hour I was shown to my room The next day the receptionist said she didn’t know how Hotels.com made reservations because we close the office at 8👎

Absolutely amazing property. so relaxing and so much in sync with nature. The food, the rooms, the location, the ambience...was simple amazing.
