Birthday getaway
A/C worked great! Front office staff was very pleasant. Pricing was very reasonable, so I guess you get what you pay for. Room reeked of smoke, I do realize it was a smoking room. We got this room because it was on the ground floor. But it needed deodorizer or to be aired out. Comforter and sheets had cigarette holes in them.

Horrible
Horrible. Cockroaches, bed bugs and nasty environment. Mold everywhere. There were holes in the walls and not in a clean or nice neighbor hood. I was walking out of the office when someone tried to tell me to get into their car. Drugs are a huge problem with this facility. I would never in my life stay at this place again. I honestly was happy when I woke up and the relief was because I wasn’t murdered!

Scared for my life
I actually didnt stay here. I pulled up and saw that the place was an absolute crap hole. Several people in the parking area that looked like they didnt have anything to do until i left my car. Then they would go ahead and take it or at least my tools in it.

Not pleased with facilities
I needed 2 beds minimum. Didn’t get it...only one bed. Very awkward and uncomfortable

I didn't like the area the staff gave me an attitude before for miscommunication whit other staff about the rooms, other than that the rooms are clean beds are comfortable you get what you pay for. I just probably never chose this place again.

This was by far the worst motel I have encountered since I started traveling for work. I ended up moving to a different motel even tho I didnt get my money back. There were roaches on the walls, in the shower, on the floor and those were the ones I saw so I can only imagine. Some were dead and alot were not. I would never recomend this place to anyone.

Roach infested hotels.com refused refund.
Just wanted to sleep for a few hours. Didn't have the room that we had reserved even though the place seemed pretty deserted. Were told to only use one double bed since they didn't honor reservation for king. Room was infested with small roaches. Giant dead ones on the floor when we got in rm. Assorted dead ones in bthrn light fixture. Then we noticed the small live ones. Both of us saw different roaches within a few minutes. After maybe 10 mins in the room we decided to leave cuz we were grossed out about roaches crawling on us as we slept in both beds. Time can be verified with key card. Hotels.com refused a refund for the 10 mins we spent at the roach infested motel cuz they said motel mgmt said we had "used" the room. Idk if hotels.com thinks we were lying or what, but 30% credit on a disgusting room I spent ten mins in, is not acceptable. The motel doesn't show up on my bank statement. It's hotels.com. I'm certain that a refund could have been issued regardless of what motel said. Probably just check out other options once I get my next free room. Only need one more night. I will make sure I'm familiar with the property so I don't have to take the chance of paying for a room I don't stay in. Unbelievable. Also some bars very close by. Had to be very careful not to run over any drunks on the road. These bars didn't have parking so cars and drunks were all along the side of the road. Do not recommend. If not for the roaches, would've been a halfway decent place.

Big improvement, very well suited for the area. They will get better at it thou. Staff treats you real good.

looked like mildew on the ceiling. it was peeling and failing from the ceiling onto the bed and floor. water was dripping/leaking from the ceiling onto our heads. commode leaking onto the floor. i had to clean the room/room not clean enough.

HORRIBLE and the manager was nonchalant and rude when she asked about the stay and was told the truth. The pictures are of one of the rooms and the clerk said that most of there rooms look like that. And this was directly over the bed.

Had the usual amenities for that grade of motel but is very tired and rundown. Had to unplug the fridge to plug in the microwave, and there were no other reachable plugs to use to charge devices etc. Only one of the two washing machines was working. Reception staff person was nice.

Decent Stay
It was comfortable clean , the appliances and comforter are outdated and a little rusted, bed was a lil squeaky . It was quiet when we were there . It's good for an overnight stay.

Will pay a few extra dollars next time to atleast stay somewhere a little more comfortable, the lady at the front desk made me feel like I wasn't welcomed, poor customer service, horrible rooms, no breakfast

The place was sort of shabby, seen its better days but the desk clerks were friendly and directed me to a great Cajun Restaurant about 3 1/2 miles away.

It's a nice little place.
Was thinking it would be worst based on the stars. It's a older motel that is a little ways from food and drinks. If you have your own it's good.

When I arrived for my stay, it was two men fighting and using bad language. They must have had some type of disappointments, they then started picking on me and my child as we were looking for our room #.I only stayed cause I had drove from Houston to Lake Charles. we were afraid to come out side all night.

Overall good stay. No issues.
Although this place is dumpy the room was clean (no trash, no bugs, no smell). The AC worked fine but it's a window unit and can be loud if you are a sensitive sleeper this might be a problem for you. People are walking around all the time but we were not approached or bothered. I recommend to take your own shampoo/conditioner and a towel. The ones there are tiny!! If you are looking for an affordable place to crash after a long day or night of gambling then this place is just fine.

Very,very outdated, poor condition.
Drapes, bedspread, shower curtain had holes. Towel rods missing. Refrigerator, microwave rusted. Floor in good condition, but Sandy. Insufficient number of electrical outlets in room. Bath and vanity lights were on same switch, if you went to bathroom at night, you'd wake up everyone in the room. The information needs updated ;there is no pool. The family who runs the hotel were wonderful.
