First of all, this place should be condemned. Second of all, I don't know why it is available for reservations as it is currently closed due to renovations. It would have been nice for the owner to call/text or email me when the reservation was made a month ago to let me know that it wasn't open. Upon arrival the owner told me he had one room available and that it would be ready by 2pm. Let me tell you, I have stayed in some sketchy places but this one was by far the worst room I have ever stayed in. It was absolutely filthy. There was mold around the bath tub and all over the shower "curtain". The kitchen (the room came with a full kitchen) was filthy. The counter top was covered in "crud". The stove top didn't work at all (but I wouldn't have cooked in there anyway so that was not an issue). There was a coffee pot on the counter but again, I wouldn't have used it because it was so dirty. The bed was not uncomfortable but is was covered in thick plastic so everytime you moved it made a noise. The pillows were hard. I bring my own though so that wasn't an issue. The towels in the bathroom however were very clean and sparkling white so that was nice! There was a flat screen tv with cable and the place had wifi but I didn't use either of those things. I wouldn't stay here again for free.

Security not so great. No extra security lock on door. Door could be easily jimmied with a plastic card. Typical old style motel where furniture, rugs and windows need to be brought into the 21st century. ok for the price for me. Had a brand new and very comfortable box spring and mattress (still in plastic). Fridge and microwave a plus but have to supply everything else. Manager very friendly and even gave me a coffee for the morning.

OK if you ONLY care about cheap price.
No deadbolt on door. No nightstand or chairs. Beds encased in plastic bedbug protectors, loud crinkling sound everytime you move. No cleaning service between nights. No sign of a manager when I rang the bell for 10 minutes at 10AM in the office, and no cellular service available to call. What appeared to be a large dried up blood splatter on bathroom door (I'm not kidding/exaggerating). Gross large stain on the fabric of ottoman. Toilet and shower had not been cleaned before our stay. Buildup of dust/grime on baseboard heaters, missing bathroom floor tiles, etc exhibit a lack of maintenance at a very basic level. This place is fine if you just need a bed overnight, but if you like a clean room, look elsewhere. I'm not picky or easily grossed out (I stayed there for a second night - but only b/c I couldn't find any staff to give me a refund for the second prepaid night), but this was below my comfort level, even for a cheap room (I paid $62/night). I'd expect this only at a $40/night interstate rest area motel. And even at those types of places, I rarely experience a place as disappointing as this. On the upside, the TV worked, there was heat, the toilet flushed, the hot water worked, and there was a refrigerator and microwave.

Clean enough but very noisy
Friendly, easy check-in. Room was reasonably clean. Micro and fridge in room was decent. But the noise was horrendous; that is, there is zero soundproofing and you can hear every word, sneeze, cough, snoring, and footsteps of the other guests, even on the other floor. Bring earplugs. Otherwise, the lower price was good and the location convenient.

Legacy Inn and Suites, Lake George
I got to the Inn about 5pm. There was no one in the office so I called the number left on the door. I called three times before they drove up. I gave the man my name and he told me he had tried to put the payment through before I got there. I told him I used Orbitz because I wasn't going to be charged before I got there. I had to pay before I was given a key because they don't have a customer pay when they leave. I usually travel with my daughter and she Never pays until she leaves!

To hot to sleep
The hotel it self was ok it was great in the 80's. The heat was on all night it was 82 degrees in the room with the window open in January. Not comfortable at all

2e visites, à recommander
5 jours avec ma fille et ses deux enfants. Belle semaine, nous pouvions faire déjeuner et souper aux enfants, par la suite marché dans la ville et nous pouvions souper tranquille en adultes avec les enfants qui s'amusaient. L'endroit est vieux mais c'est comme le reste. Ce qui compte c'est la propreté et le coucher.

Cheapest Motel in Lake George and it shows
This is a the cheapest motel in Lake George and there's some reasons for that. The check in was not done by someone from the staff but by a member of the family of the owner. They gave us the wrong key for our room so we could not unlock it from the outside. We resolved to let nothing in the room and leave the door unlocked when we were not there. Handle for the water in the shower was not working well. The second day, the nice lady at the desk was much more helpful and helped us with all of our demands. Use this motel if you're on a tight budget.

No locks on the windows
The hotel is older and not updated, which is fine as it was a good value and clean and the bed was comfy. My only worry was there was no locks on the 2 back windows, both were broken and no accommodations had been put in to replace the locks (piece of wood, or a screw in the track) so for my piece of mind, we wedge some plastic hangers in there or else I would have asked to change rooms. Safety first! Get those window locks changed.

This was the most disguisting place I have ever been. The carpet was not vacuumed, the sheets were stained and dirty, the couches were filthy, the bathroom was full of mold and there was a very suspect looking stain on the walls. There are people that live at this motel and are always angling outside out room window smoking. The pool was covered in black mold. We checked out of this place the following day. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Please do not go here!!

Hotel near Lake
The hotel is walking distance from the lake. It's quiet and family own. It was hard to communicate with the staff as they didn't know English. At check-in I was asked to signed a no liability waiver and didn't feel comfortable signing. There's some upgrades that need to be made and repair issues need to be addressed.

The outside of hotel had nice curb appeal but the rooms needed updating bad. The beds however were comfy! The toilet did NOT FLUSH GOOD AT ALL! The hotel was close to a lot of things so our stay their was not only the best price but it did work out for our stay!

Okay for a last minute trip, but can do better
Not bad for a last minute booking, but not as close to downtown as I would have liked, guess you could walk but sidewalks arent along the whole way and on a semi fast road with a lot of traffic ot can be dangerous especially at night, plus its a decent distance uphill to get back. It is a little outdated, wall ac wasnt the greatest. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Was not told about wi-fi until i cheaked out and saw a sign in the office, but i guess i could have asked. I probably will not be staying here again, I have stayed in the area before. I would spend a little extra and go downtown, or spend the same or less and get a better deal a little further away, because you will prob drive anywhere anyway. I was here for four nights and it wasnt the most comfortable bed or room to be in, plus steps to second level seem dangerous.

Didn't Even End Up Staying
We weren't able to check in on time as anticipated because our plans changed last minute. We attempted to call ahead to notify the inn of this, but a frustrating automated machine kept diverting us and we were unable to make contact with a human being. We had booked a room with two double beds and arrived to find that they had only given us one king bed; it was also very dirty, musty, and the A/C barely worked. They offered to put us up at a different hotel, but no one was answering their calls. We ended up asking for a refund and not staying at all. I still haven't gotten my money back, so we will see how this turns out.

A place to sleep?
If you need a place to sleep for a few hours it might be OK. My morning shower started out ok warm but quickly turned to Luke warm and ended up getting cut short after 5 minutes.

One Man Show
As far as I can determine the place is managed, landscaped, cleaned, et etc by one worker. Not possible for him to do it all. Therefore everything is lacking including prepping the room in a timely fashion. The bedding was still in its original plastic wrapping. So, every time I sat on the bed it drinkled. The sheets were huge and so every time I turned, they turned with me.

New mattresses but plastic covering still on them, asked to have them removed but the answer was NO they wanted to keep them clean. Very hard not to slide on plastic, not to mention the noise every time you moved. Also sheets didn't fit. We didn't have enough towels and wash cloths, like pulling teeth to get enough, wash cloths had holes in them. Very pricey for what we got.

Your money's worth....
Don't get me wrong.. I've seen worse places... The sheets were clean and so were the towels.... No toiletries at all other than a bar of soap... Bed spreads were not clean, stains could be seen, furniture if outdated but worse off all, unkept, the place looked like a group of unfinished projects.... Stains of plaster on the walls that were never painted over, housekeeping cleans room but removed necessary stuff (eg. Bath floor towel) and doesn't replace.... Overall, if you're just looking for a reasonable priced place to park your bike or car at night and get some rest, it'll do... FiFort a vacation with someone else, do yourself a favor and look for another place...

Very disappointed, Hotel too old and outdated.
Hotel in need of repair. Room was so outdated, ceiling was falling down, water dripping outside bathroom window, sink would gurgle when you flush toilet, dead flowers hanging outside room, Nothing about the hotel was appealing. No top sheet on beds, their excuse was they had a new housecleaner. Booked this hotel because it was walking distance from town but I would have rather pay more or be a little further out of town. Would not recommend to anyone. Even the hanging plants were dead. How hard is it to water them to keep them nice or remove them if they are dead. Just shows signs of neglect.

Awful
I have stayed in my fair share of hotels and this has been by far the worst experience I have had. The hotel room was disgusting, smelly, the bed was hard and we found a spider under the sheets. The sink was clogged, the fridge hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long and the playground was dirty as well, it wasn't even usable. On top of that the staff was very unprofessional and unaccommodating. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.
