As someone who made a guaranteed reservation and did not stay with us, I'm sorry you felt the need to leave the review you did. Unfortunately, if you don't cancel the reservation prior to deadline, you are charged by the booking agent a penalty of the 1st nights room and tax.

Stayed at Comfort Suites for a quick weekend trip to Lake Jackson. Reserving the room and check in was very easy. Room was clean and stocked with towels and toiletries.

We had an issue with our bathroom and they accommodate our needs right away. They moved us ASAP. The feont desk was already coming up with our new room cards. Very nice.

I liked that I was able to check in 2 hours early with no problems or extra fees. Staff were very nice! A few things I did not like in our room, a few of the pillow cases had dark black marks on them. You had to continuously jiggle the toilet handle so it would stop running, the trash cans were not emptied the one in the bathroom had a huge dead tree roach right on top!

The room could have been cleaned a lot better. There were hairs in the shower and jacuzzi and water left in the ice container.

We reserved a king suite and were given a room with 2 full beds. With a late check in, the last thing I want to do is go back down and correct a reservation.

The staff was exceptional! They went above & beyond to be accommodating when we asked to be put near our friends who booked their room separately. Anytime we walked in or out they were attentive and friendly. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was how clean it looked and smelled. The pool was clean and fresh towels were available. Only two notes: The parking is limited. We brought a (medium sized) boat and could not park on the property. The breakfast was not very appealing. Microwaved sausage & eggs were available on the steam table and the "continental" part of the breakfast consisted of only white bread and Little Debbie's pinwheels and honey buns. The cereal and waffles were ok.

Bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and responsive to requests. Even with the temperatures above 100°F the AC kept the room nice and cool. One problem: It was humid, with condensation on the inside of the windows and there was a musty odor. They need dehumidifiers.

Property was easy to get to from the highway and convenient to the downtown area. The inside of the rooms seem older and dated. The TV in our room didn't work, said "No Signal" We tried switching inputs and such, nothing worked. It was late at night, around 11pm. Called the front desk but no one answered. Figured they were busy checking someone else in or something - just went to bed. Breakfast was decent, nothing special. Coffee was good.

The hotel was nice and convenient. One complaint is the final bill charged us for a coke and cookies that we never bought. When I tried to get the charge removed I was told the manager was currently not in to take care of the mistake
