The people who own this resort or who simply work here are beyond incredible. They have activities every day and while I stayed here by myself for a few days, they made me feel very welcomed and let me know about all the activities that I can join in on! They offer a discount to local food locations and even activities as well. The cabins are so much of a “home away from home” feel that it truly was incredible. They have a full service kitchen in every room (don’t worry about literally bringing anything other than the actual food you want to cook), rooms are stocked with extra bed things, extra towels are provided just in case, and they even set you up with a dvd player and offer free rentals of movies from the office! I truly enjoyed my stay and loved staying here the most💛 Special thank you to the three ladies I had the most contact with: Kailee, Kelly and Erin!

Love the room but hate the bed.
The property is in a great location, adjacent to the lake front. The property is well kept, clean and the front desk lady is very nice and helpful. Biggest issue is with the main bed. It is on a flimsy metal frame with springs. This design would send the bed into a rolling motion when a bedmate moves. I couldn’t get a wink of sleep because of that. This issue can be very easily fixed by putting the mattress on a simple, fixed wooden bed frame.

Cozy Lodge with Great Views of Lake Tahoe
There was a cozy cabin feel to this lodge. Our family room had 2 comfortable rooms, a little cozy living room, and a nice kitchen. Safeway is really close by so we were able to buy some groceries and cook a delicious at home meal. A highlight of the property is the loading dock to the lake at the back. It was PERFECT for some sunset views of Lake Tahoe! Pros: good price, great communication, cozy feeling, great view of the lake. Cons: had a fishy smell when checking in, a little tight in space.

Everything seemed good except our room was right on the lake boulevard and it was quite noisy. Also, we ran out of shampoo the day before we left and the office could not help us even it was only 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

Nice property on the lake. Beautiful view of the lake. Very cozy inside. The only two complaints were: 1. We got the room closest to the road, so there was some noise coming from passing cars. 2. The hot tub was far from our room and was inconvenient to use in cold weather. The other hot tub closer to our room was fenced without a view.

Love this hotel! 2nd time staying here. The rooms are so cozy and the kitchen in our suite was well stocked. Love the gorgeous views from the lake front beach. Spent every evening watching the sun set and relaxing by the fire pit. We will be back!

This is now undoubtedly my new favorite place to stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Everything you need was there. The staff were excellent. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool and beach area was awesome. They have activities daily. Kayaks to use. I definitely will be back, but next time i will stay longer. We absolutely loved this place!

Overall the check-in/reservation confirmation process was initially disorganized. Finally they got it right. The WiFi was down the entire time. The pool heater was down.

Amazing place to stay! The 2bd/2bath cabin was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, cutlery, and pots and pans. There is a large fridge, microwave, and oven with cook top. Each bathroom had extra towels and make up mirrors, a shower, and bathtub with jets. Walking distance to beautiful beach access with lounge chairs. BBQ and picnic areas. Pool and spa. Assigned parking makes parking a delightful experience. The staff is professional, kind, and available. Overall I loved staying here. It’s beautiful, safe, and has a fun atmosphere. Will definitely return again soon. Conveniently located near hwy 267, mount rose hwy, the market, dining options, and beaches.

We loved the 2-bedroom suite. Lots of room and super spacious. Beds & pillows we’re comfortable and there were fans in all the rooms. The only thing we didn’t like were the steep stairs to our room.

Had high hopes for my stay at the Lodge, based on a prior visit, but was let down. Unit 26 was cramped, dark, and noisy from both traffic and upstairs neighbors' thumping steps late into the night. As a light sleeper, rest was nearly impossible. Despite visible empty units, my requests to change were not addressed. A birthday wine bottle, cheap and left under the sun, did not make up for the issues. This unit should be priced lower given its shortcomings. Overall, disappointing experience.

Absolutely NO REFUNDS - any no one cares. I booked this property with the wrong dates. I realized it within 30 seconds of hitting the booking button on Expedia and called both Expedia and the property asking to cancel/refund as it was an honest mistake. The property was not willing to offer any alternatives - NO alternate dates, no partial refunds, nothing. They documented that I called right away and then said their hands were tied.

Really a lovely place, attentive staff, great pool resort feel. Our unit had a perfect balcony with lake view. I would highly recommend the RWLL!

It is easy to get to and you can park right in front of your unit in an assigned space. There are no hallways/lobbies to deal with (it is like a motel in that way). Getting into and out of the driveway is tricky as it is on a bend. There are decent dining options nearby. Overall a good place to stay near the lake/skiing. Go expecting a motel and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Pleasant staff. Free use of snow shoes and sleds. Cute cozy cabin albeit it became too warm and the heating was centralized so I had to crack open a window to feel comfortable in bed. Great access to beach which had a ton of snow when we were there.

great place in Kings Beach
We checked in, had free hot chocolates, borrowed a couple of board games to hang out. Bought snacks across the street, got recommendations of good places for dinner. Came back to the room after dinner and played games and watched TV and then went skiing all day the next day. The room was clean and spacious, front desk was very helpful and parking was right in front of our room. I love the location and the value is good as well!

Glad I found Red Wolf...
I frequent the area for work and the go to spot near my clients has been booked solid the last few times. Not only is Red Wolf less $$ - it blows my other two options away. The grounds are clean and well maintained - not your typical "Tahoe Rustic" lodge. Studio is just awesome - plenty of space, clean, well decorated, good WiFi, excellent location. The kitchenette is a great bonus. The only ding would be the bed is just ok, but not a big deal for me. Will absolutely be back...10/10
