가성비 좋고 등산후 편히 쉴수있는곳.
한국인 직원분이 아주 친절했습니다. 통가리오 등산후 잠만자려고 예약했는데 40분거리였던거같아요. 침대도 넓고 샤워실도 괜찬고 120$nz정도에 예약해서 정말 푹쉬고 아침에 나왔습니다. 근처에서 저녁먹으면서 맥주한잔하기 좋은 펍도 있고 뉴월드있고 전제적으로 좋았습니다.

Reasonably priced motel in a beautiful area. Not the most modern decoration, but efforts had been made to make it comfortable.

The property was a good option for access to Tongariro. We chose this property over another because the website mentioned a hot tub however after booking/upon arrival found out the hot tub was broken. Maybe call ahead to find out for sure. Also the restaurant was booked out for the night we were there but they were able to accommodate us with room service before the group came in which was much appreciated. This property is beside the highway so you will hear road noise from large trucks, etc.

Kitchenette crampt with no space to even put a cup down. Shower area smells of damp and poor ventilation. No tea towel or dishwashing liquid provided so unable to clean dishes as per the instructions .

This motel is very good value but the rooms could benefit from some deep cleaning and painting. It's good for staying overnight but the rooms are a bit sad and dated. The staff are very friendly. I would really love to see the owners put some love into this property

Pretty basic motel with dated facilities. WiFi was good, but televisions were so small I’m not sure they make them anymore, and you certainly can’t cast to them and watch your streaming service. No air con so really warm overnight in the summer. And a very long walk to town. Nice having a bar on site, with nice staff. Room pots were a bit misleading as to size and configuration. But, quiet, clean, just a bit tired.

In desperation for some renovations. Bannisters are wobbly & a lick of paint around. Restaurant needs a lot of Staff training and a better attitude from staff. The menus is strange and half not available. Was told “We can’t source it “. A damn good clean in the restaurant would be a good start. New management have no hospitality background. Had to call the main phone number to get someone to check us in. At checkout the was no interest in how our experience was! Sad!!! Won’t be back again!!!

The mattresses did not fit the beds properly. The adjoining door to the next door room was a bit disconcerting. The cooking facilities were extremely limited, and the dish washing facilities were ridiculous. The fan did not work.

Very quiet clean supplying everything we needed to prepare for hiking.Easily accessible to the national park where we were hoping to hike. (Unfortunately weather did not allow for our Tongariro crossing hike)

Comfortable motel on the Tongariro River
This was a nice place to stay over on our way from Auckland to Wellington. The room was small but comfortable, with a surprisingly well-equipped mini kitchen. It's right on the river, which you can hear but can't really see from the nice walking path along it. The desk staff were very friendly, as well.

Average to below average facilities (old - needs desperate make over! Especially the rooms). Bar service was poor at times. Front desk (reception) communication was awful due to extremely poor English speaking ability! Turangi was not very exciting. Won't recommend this Motel unless you're happy with below average accommodation (rooms especially). Beef and Chicken burgers were fantastic - well done. Room service was a bonus - thank you.

There was a hole in the floor by the shower door, it was covered by the lino but potentially my foot could have gone right through. Inside the shower the floor was also pretty bouncy as well. I didn’t think it was safe and needs immediate repair.

Staff on arrival not friendly. When you're tired after a long days drive even a half arsed smile is better than grim indifference ! Informed (wrongly) that there was no breakfast service. Property a bit tired, needs a spruce up.

Units are old, but very clean and spacious. Excellent grounds for pets. Walking track alongside the river was natural but lovely. Restaurant on site. Friendly helpful staff.

Very convenient stopover location if travelling through the North Island. Room has good facilities, parking and bar/restaurant. F.ar food and other retail plus local pub is just a 2-3 minute drive away. Friendly management

Steps to units unsafe when wet. Toilet size for tiny people. Having to ask for towels for 1 room and being told the cleaners left the rooms fully supplied, then accused of having 2 extra towels. Other than that, it was ok
