Très bel hôtel. L’un des seul à proposer un parking à proximité dans la zone. Même si le parking n’est pas the parking. Chambres très agréables. Bien finies. Seul bémol, la wifi n’est pas super. Le personnel est disponible et très professionnel.

The staff at the front desk were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the rooms warm and the water hot. The location can not be better, walking distance to Plaza de Armas. The view from the restaurant looks over the Lake and the city. Terrific buffet breakfast. Highly recommended!

Hotel hverken bedre eller dårligere end forventet. Hotel ligger centralt med kort afstand til restauranter på gågade. Værelset var pænt stort til 4 personer, badeværelse med brus og mindre jacuzzi. Varmt vand i badeværelset skulle bestilles via receptionen.

One day in Puno.
Got to the hotel at 6 am and the attendant was not in the lobby. I had to ring the bell several times. He finally showed up 15 minutes later. I had just arrived from an over night bus ride where my husband and i had gotten no sleep so we were a little cranky. Receptionist allowed us to check in early at a cost of 24 dollars extra. Nice hot tea in lobby was appreciated. Beautiful breakfast on the 10th floor with breathtaking views of the city

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was that the elevator stopped working the evening we checked in. And being on the ninth floor, it made it tough to come and go freely for our stay.

Great option in Puno
Great hotel, located very close to the main plaza in Puno. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. The rooms are very nice and quite spacious. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant on the 10th floor provides nice views of the city and Lake Titicaca. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Experiencia desagradable.
No fue nada agradable. Para empezar no estaba abierto cuando llegamos, estuvimos tocando el timbre por casi 10 minutos. Para poder tomar un baño, tuve que esperar en el baño más de 15 minutos con el agua corriendo esperando a que saliera agua caliente. Hablé a recepción para preguntar y no me contestaron mi llamada. Unos minutos después me regresaron la llamada y me dijeron que tenía que esperar de 25 a 30 minutos corriendo el agua para que saliera caliente.

Great room (big and amazingly comfortable bed!)and service overall... the breakfast was the only downside (not ready on time and really poor choice).

Fa tastic hotel. Great staff who were very helpful. Great breakfast. A short walk into town and about 10 minutes from Lake Titicaca. Highly recommended and fantastic value.

Run-down and tired rooms and interior, poor views unless you are at the very top floor and facing Titicacaca. Poor breakfast and unremarkable service.

good location but didn't have a great experience
The hotel was in a fantastic location. There is an amazing view from the top floor at sun rise. When I arrived, the staff could not find my reservation. They ended up giving me a room with two single rooms rather than a queen bed. The worst of all, I got stuck in the lift between two floors in the basement for 10 mins. The hotel offered me a suite for the following night at 50% of a standard room rate.

We had a good time at this place but had to adjust our morning rhythm to the availability of hot water. Totally fine in a 2 star place or Hostel, don't get me wrong, but here it was a little annoying

Convenient location and helpful staffs.
We booked two rooms and stayed for two nights. Overall experience was good and I would recommend this place. The good: Location is super convenient. Restaurants, shopping area, Plaza de Armas, all within walking distance. Staffs were very helpful. They don't all speak English, but they try everything they can to help and were super patient with my broken Spanish and communicatibg with me through Google translate. Not so good: We stayed at the rooms on 9th floor (with a view overlooking Lake Titicaca, which is super nice), the internet connection wasn't working most of the time. We had to reconnect every 5 mins or so, and the signal wasn't very good even when we were connected. We were there in mid Dec, and the locals were doing some pre-celebration for a festival in Feb, so there was a 3 Day parade over the weekend and the street was filled with people, music. I found it fun to watch but the friends travelling with us said the noise made it hard for them to fall asleep at night.

Good hotel in the center of Puno
Hotel is in the center of Puno, half a block from Plaza de Armas and the Catbedral. Very good staff, always ready to help for everything (tour, airport transportation, informations), printing boarding pass free. Room was clean, lot of space (we booked a triple room, there were three queen size bed), clean bathroom with tube and shower, heathing. Good for the price, this way you got more than what you pay for

Elegant hotel with an excellent view of the city
My wife and I had an excellent experience in this hotel where all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They took care of all our needs including our return to Juliaca airport. The hotel installations are very beautiful and clean and we really feel like at home. The hotel is right across the street of Lima st. where you can shop all your souvenirs from the trip. Titicaca lake is only 15 minutes from here but from the dinner room in the 10 th floor you can see this wonder of the Andes.

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm und es wurden Anfragen erfreulich schnell und freundlich bearbeitet. Kritikpunkt ist das fehlende Vorhandensein einer fehlenden öffentlichen Aushängung bezüglich interner Instituionen, im meinem Falle betraf dies das Restaurant, welches überraschend geschlossen war, und das Frühstück, welches trotz Zusicherung von 6 - 10 Uhr erhältlich zu sein, auf einen Samstag offenbar früher schliesst (ungesicherte Angabe, da ich des spanischen nur rudimentär mächtig bin). Ebenfalls unerfreulich, dass an zwei von drei Tagen kein warmes Duschwasser verfügbar war und an einem Tag statt dessen braunes Wasser aus der Leitung kam. Zumindest das kalte Wasser lief reibungslos so dass nicht auf eine Dusche am Morgen verzichtet werden musste. Leute, die einen leichten Schlaf haben, sollten berücksichtigen dass das Hotel auch im Feierviertel der Stadt liegt und dies bis früh am Morgen auch deutlich zu hören ist.

Close to the tourist area with good view
The hotel was fine overall. Location was good as was the view. Breakfast was adequate. The hot was was plenty but it would change to scalding hot without warning. Children could be hurt. Adults need to jump into and out of the stream.

Jewel in Puno
Qalasaya is probably one of the nicer hotels in Puno. It offers a great view from the downtown area over everything to see Lake Titicaca. It's probably not as nice as some of the ones on or in the Lake itself, but it offers a bit of Luxury while being close to the Plaza de Armas and the downtown. Nice and large rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful also. recommend.

Great location but comes at a noise price
We stayed one night in a suite and one in a double bedroom. Suite was great, clean... Breakfast is really simple here. Hotel is ok, next to main square BUT there are two things you need to know! There's a bar upstairs which goes on and on the whole night/extremely loud music. Seen a guy at the reception wanting ti check out, because of the noise! We were on the 4th floor out of 10, so the noise wasn't that bad,but still heard the pounding! Other thing is that hotel staff isn't that helpful (reception) . So the best thing about this hotel is the suite for 3 persons!!!

Great & comfortable stay
We just came back from a stay at this hotel in April 2013 and it is very comfortable, clean with nice rooms, great lobby. We stayed with 9 year olds. Very nice service with hot cocoa tea in lobby. Breakfast was very nice. And we also had dinner in the restaurant one night and the waiter was very pleasant and nice. Overall a very comfortable hotel at a great price and I highly recommend this place.

Very Convenient location, beautiful view in room
We enjoyed our stay at the Qalasaya. Our room had a beautiful view of the Lake and was very conveniently located right off the main avenue in town. The breakfast was very good in the morning and the restaurant was convenient for a quick dinner one evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the reasonable price!
