For the price this property is really good. It’s a short ten minute walk from town, close to the sea front and the owners were very welcoming.

Friendly, efficient proprietors, welcomed at the start. Very good freshly cooked breakfast, cereals and juices to start.. Some aspects of guest house were a little jaded, such as shower room, though shower itself was easy to control. House was generally clean and well maintained. TV was a little eccentric to operate. Convenient for promenade, main shopping area and transport hubs.

Ok for the money I paid
This place is OK, but not outstanding. It's in a good position close to the centre and beach. It was fine for the 2 nights I stayed but if I was staying longer, I'd want a TV that works and not the messed up signal I had in my room. Bring an ipad and use the wifi to watch on-demand.

Good location, good price.
We arrived at 3.15pm and was stood knocking on and ringing the door bell for 15 minutes, there was no answer and it started to rain so we decided to drive down the coast until someone answered the phone at 4.10. There also seemed to be a problem with the drains as our bathroom smelled of sewage so we had to keep the door shut. Parking was expensive also. Other than this it was a pleasant stay for the price and was within walking distance to restaurants other establishments.

Good clean hotel.
Well located hotel closed to Blackpool promenade, our en-suite hotel room was clean with good reading lights and good wifi. Parking located not too far away at 5 pounds a day was safe recommended by hotel. Very helpful gentleman at reception who recommended very good fish and chips restaurant same street as hotel.

Hi wen I booked thru your web site it came across as being a nice place to stay unfortunately this wasn't the case at all the room was very tiny smelly and a tiny shower small bed it all so smells of smoke I could hardly shower too.i feel so let down and normal would not complain in this manner the pictures of the guesthouse u av dnt actually do any justice at all it was my birthday and my manager payed this as a gift. I work in television and would not recommend this to anyone at all I basically feel cheated out of £50. I met a freind there who wanted to see my room but couldn't bring my self to tell them how dreadful my stay was. So I would be grateful if u would compensate me. My whole experience was bad I didn't even have a good nights sleep.

The hotel was ok, if you are looking for basic, clean, cheap place just to lay your head at night it's perfect, friendly owners (including Max the dog!!) Nice breakfast, this is the place!

Lovely friendly owne with adorable dog :) Room was spotless, bed comfy. Tea, coffee, not chocolate making facilities in room. Wall mounted TV and wifi. On suite. Couldn't fault it for the price. Will definitely stay again and will recommend

Fantastic little place
Just got back from the Oasis. Stayed there for new year for 2 nights. We were well impressed. The room was spotlessly clean, warm, the bed was really comfortable and little extras like bottled water, tea, coffee, tissues, shower gel, shampoo. Really couldn't fault it at all and in a perfect location for us near funny girls and ma Kelly's etc. Also plenty coat hangers. We'll definitely go back again.

Oasis - Overall satisfactory
My stay was satisfactory for visiting family in the area. Unfortunately, the room was small, although I didn't spend much time in it. Also the toilet facilities were extremely small but I was able to cope as I am average size. Anyone much bigger would not have been able to use the facilities very easily.

Don't bother!!!
Arrived 15 mins before check in, staff said room was ready. Took our cases up to the room. Could not believe our eyes at the state of the room! The bed was made, but wasn't clean or changed, had long blonde hair all over bed, and I'm brunette!!! On opening the door to the "supposedly " en-suite, we found the en-suite was actually a converted wardrobe!! Containing a toilet, tiny sink and filthy, mouldy shower with a disgusting curtain that wasn't big enough to put a child in!! As we stood looking at each other in disbelief, we thought we'd make a coffee, we managed to manoeuvre enough water from the tiny sink into the travel kettle, but when we plugged it in, the kettle blew all the other fuses in the room, even the TVs. Though rather late, at this point we decided that was enough and we couldn't stay here a second longer!! So we made our excused and left!

Good value B&B
Positives - value and comfort. I've paid a lot more in the past at other B&B's in Blackpool (e.g. £60 per night as opposed to £18 - granted we stayed during two week nights as opposed to the weekend). All the B&B's I've stayed in Blackpool are virtually the same - old, a bit run down but I think that adds to the quirkiness and appeal / nostalgia for me. I don't mind that one bit. We arrived early (10:30am - check in wasn't until 2pm) and the owner kindly allowed us to drop off our bags at reception to allow us to go out for the day as opposed to return at 2pm. Negatives (again didn't really bother me due to price but other guests may find this to be a downside) - room was in need of some TLC e.g. the sliding screen separating bedroom from bathroom was split down the middle; cracks in the door frame within the bathroom; shower pressure / temperature gauge not secure / kept falling off. The owner was pleasant and friendly enough but I feel (in comparison with other B&B's I've been to in the area and their respective proprietors) he could have been a little more professional and welcoming upon our arrival. To be specific, he didn't introduce himself, so we didn't know the name of who we were addressing. Again, when looking at the price, not such a huge deal. The comments are meant as constructive feedback and not criticism. Overall, pleasant stay.

close to the beech
the guest house was close to the beech sadly when we booked we was told there was a bar and when we asked about the bar we was told it had closed 3 weeks ago because no one was using it and we had to pay extra for breakfast so we had breakfast out which okay but we would of liked to know before we got there and then we would of had more money so we could have it as it was £5 per person sadly we will not be staying there again but we will come back to blackpool
