Fantastic
The food was excellent. Entertainment fantastic. Special mention to the waiters in the bar and restaurant. The receptionist was really helpful.

Modern rooms and friendly service.
A smart hotel, well located on the Blackpool sea front a short walk from the North Pier. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and modern in appearance. The hotel has free parking too. The breakfast was tasty, hot and served quickly. A nice hotel and one I would consider staying at again

I liked the view from the lounging area, and the service we received. I wasn`t keen on the view from our room, or the noisy fans that turned on early. But it couldn`t be helped, also the way some servers handled, the crockery, with their fingers and hands, and the wait. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and understood they were very busy

Ok for a flying visit
We stayed in a twin room in the older section of the hotel. Generally clean. Some generator or Extractor kicks in at 8am and is extremely noisy - not good after a heavy Saturday night. Overall hotel is ok.

Overnught stay
No hot water, shower was unusable, used soap left in soap dish in shower, very poor menu choices, No aircon in sun facing rooms meaning the window had to stay open all the time leaving the room infested with insects. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone

Absolutely awful room, filthy, bed broken, shower curtain half hanging off. When we asked the manager to look at the rooms (we booked 2) he said they were perfectly fine and wouldnt move us rooms (even said it was a perfectly good room for £218 for 2 nights) we were told by him that we were given these rooms because we booked through expedia and that if we had booked direct we would have been given better rooms. Apparently the hotel is under going refurbishment and you must ask for upgraded rooms if you want them. How you are meang to know that I dont know. Eventually agreed to 20% discount, still too much for the squalor but they insisted these were the only rooms left in the hotel. Rooms and the whole hotel are freezing. Water for baths is only luke warm. Breakfast is poor, cheap quality. Do not stay here!

Lovely stay
Hotel is well positioned and staff are lovely. We did arrive at 2pm which was our check in time to be told rooms would not be ready till later, returned just after 3 and shortly room keys were given. Rooms are well sized but could do with an upgrade - we had the old style room but with excellent sea views which we couldn’t fault. Beds were comfortable and linen clean although dated, bathroom was fine but dated with pink facilities, shower could do with being renewed or even simply descaled, towels could do with a revamp, years of being over dried small, thankfully we took our own. Guest rooms could do with soft closures being added to stop other residents from slamming there doors all hours of the day and night. Breakfast was excellent and great selection and service - teapots could do with a overhaul as stained and dirty. A few places could do with a clean, window sills and windows. We spent a few hours in the sun lounge and tea/coffee and The Park House Club Sandwich. This as very disappointing, quality of ingredients were poor, cheapest white bread and inedible bacon. Overall anything of the light meals menu could do with a upgrade, we were going to eat in the restaurant that night but this put us off doing so. Would we stay here again...??Absolutely, the positives out-way the negatives. Would just not expect to much, this isn’t a negative review, I think in a few years when all rooms have been upgraded and a

Had a lovely stay here at weekend..they have decorated and carpeted and our room was just lovely clean and modern. Staff are really friendly and the entertainment was great.

Lovely staff, dated room
The staff are very friendly and helpful can’t fault them. The room was very dated and no view out of window just a brick wall and a very noisy extraction fan. The bathroom didn’t have a shower just a bath. It was clean and basic but fine for our 1 night.

Perfect place to stay
One of the best hotels I ever been in Blackpool. The stuff is very friendly, breakfast was perfect and the location is very close to everything. Will definitely stay there again.

My honest opinion
Very Big hotel and not enough parking spaces.Friendly staff very accommodating. The hotel is a little dated definitely in need of a refurb. The rooms are quite hard to find in this maze of a hotel. Entertainment needs a little improving also.

Great time
Stayed here early December.. Great hotel to stay at lovely friendly staff, rooms a tad small but acceptable, requested a bath, was no problem, the breakfast was fantastic, service and quality second to none. Would definitely stay again plus free parking always a winner... Tram just seconds away so going shows etc a doddle..

The Hotel is close enough to the Tower and is a nice walk. The room was too warm though which made it difficult to sleep. We spoke with reception who said they would get it turned down but we didn’t notice much difference and slept with the window open. It was the only window you could open and it didn’t let much fresh air in. All in all a good stay with only what one whinge, which I suppose is a whinge when you look at the whole picture. Thank you to the staff for making our stay a friendly one :)

old fashioned seasider let down by a pokey room
staff friendly and welcoming. food in bistro exceptional. but the room allocated to us, 203e, a double, was far too small. little storage space for our clothes (we packed for two nights) no bedside tables and no bedside lights. on a Tuesday in November the hotel was far from busy and this room allocation was an insult. reception was busy and we were tired so didn't complain--- until now.

The hotel is only a 10mins walk from the North train station on the beach front.The staff are amazing can't do enough for you. I would highly recommend the breakfast .The only down side was our room smelled musty and there was a mark on one of the bed sheets .

Quick weekend break
A good 3 star hotel currently going through a refurb. We stayed in one if the unfurbed rooms and although dated was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the location is brilliant (bet 2 tram stops) with ample parking on site. Overall a good. House for a quick break.

Nice Hotel overlooking the sea.
Nice clean and tidy hotel. Room clean and modern. The hotel had entertainment on each night we were there. The Bar snack we had was tasty and a very reasonable price. Breakfast was Very Nice even better for being served in an almost Palacial Dining Room. The Hotel was Well kept and in its past would have been a Very Grand Building indeed. The Owners Should be proud of their achievements in returning the Ballroom and many other parts of the Hotel to how they look today. Really Enjoyed our stay. Only downside was we would loved to have brought out little Dog Molly along with us, but dogs are not allowed. Overall We would definitely stay there again. Thank You for making our stay Very Enjoyable.

Staff were very attentive, couldn't fault them. Our room was clean however it was so out dated. I felt we were in a 70's throwback. Couldn't regulate the shower and ended up burning my feet. Need to review the cost for the rooms that are not updated. Not value for money.
