This is the second hotel we've booked in blackpool that is supposed to have parking and once we've got there the parking is away from the property which with two young children makes it a nightmare getting from the car to the hotel. The hotel is supposed to be wheelchair accessible and as much as we didn't have a wheelchair we did have a pushchair which was to carry up and down the steps into the hotel and the flights of stairs to our room. Despite putting the ages of our children in we were on the second floor which for me is just unbelievable. Left the hotel this morning to slippery conditions out the front so my partner ended up falling down every step no one came to see if she was okay or anything absolute hazzard. The door in the shower wasn't attached at the bottom so we were unable to use that. We switched the kettle on to make our youngest daughter a bottle it tripped the switch and knocked the tv off went to reception to tell staff about it only to be made out that we'd over loaded the socket with chargers when we hadn't plugged anything in or touched the socket. The double bed was ripped all along the bottom of it, the bathroom is very dated, the view was horrendous. The couple next door to us were arguing right from around 9.30pm until at least 1am no one came to tell them to be quiet or anything. Breakfast was a shambles no hot food and what cold food there was was shameful frozen fruit with yoghurt which i nearly broke my teeth on as was still frozen. Never again

The bedrooms and landings were freezing no heating on , they offered me a little heater that was not much use the bedding was ice cold . i ended up in a amall double whuch was a litter warmer with askung for extra duvets x i would have mived hotels but it was absolutely throwing it down n freezing outside.

Had a pleasant stay with my two children 2 and 5. The hotel was £35 for a quadruple room which was fantastic value. The hotel is basic but clean and perfect for a base. The bar was closed but they opened it so we could have a drink. Staff were lovely. Missed breakfast by 5 minutes (thought we would’ve had a bit of grace with smaller children but evidently not) looked a good selection of continental. Close walk to the tower and shopping centres. Overall a good stay.

Overall the hotel seemed ok however disappointed the room had no central heating just a plug in small heater which took ages to heat room size. December weather very cold so warm room would have been good. Bed was quite comfy apart from the noisy springs and needed an extra blanket as cold through the night. Bathroom freezing as no heat there. Single glazed huge bay window with condensation which caused mould under the wallpaper. Continental breakfast ok but wasnt kept stocked. Had to keep knocking on door and asking for more. 4 members of staff in kitchen not doing much and tables were left for ages uncleared. Lift and wifi out of order. Tv reception poor.

Sorry but Wouldn’t go back or recommend
Whatever company does the laundry is good & is the only positive thing I have to say about my stay- bedding and towels were good however overall cleanliness in room was disappointing… dirty cup and a cup that should be in the bin as it was badly cracked. Poor quality ‘continental’ breakfast with little choice poor quality bedroom amenities including no heating in the room. Noise in other rooms carried through the floor and ceiling and if someone turned on their tap it sounded like the QE2 was coming into dock!! Staff were Polite at check in. Granted it’s a budget hotel but I’m sure there are much much better in same price range. Location near Winter Gardens was ideal for our stay but next time I’d gladly have a longer walk for a better hotel

The reception area was dirty & the floor looked like it has not been swept or mopped for a month. The rooms are basic to say the least & on comparison to hostel. The net curtains were disgusting, carpet not hoovered in weeks, bedding damp. Food all over remote control & walls. The suggested full English breakfast was none existent, With an offering of continental (if you can call it that) mouldy bread, stale cereal, tomato & processed cheese slice. The plates & cutlery were dirty. The service staff were what looked like family drafted in that had no awareness of their presentation as nails & clothing dirty. The front entrance was littered with cigarette butts where the family service staff were seen constantly. Overall disgusting place not fit for purpose

I have never booked hear before, but I totally would do again. There is a lift in the property, but you still have to get your self up the steps to the front door. No parking but there is a loading area to off load your stuff. Property is facing the winter gardens ,so quite central . Tower just around the corner. Clean and warm place. Breakfast was contintal, so you helped yourself.

Was cheap and cheerful and the room was okay. Wasn’t happy that a full English breakfast was advertised but it was just “continental” and the pillows was flat but was okay for what we paid for and done the job. 7/10.

DO NOT BOOK…. The photos do not match what it looks like now.. 3 adults stayed here… the breakfast is not full English like is advertised it’s continental but even that isn’t correct. It’s dirty we stayed in room 19 and there was mould on the windows and shower. No bathroom bin just a bag on the floor. Yellow stained bedding with other peoples hair. 2 cups for 3 adults, one tea bag and no milk. Heating was not on but a small fan heater was there but it was exchanged for another that just made a burnt smell. They removed our towels while we was out and didn’t replace them they went thru one of our bags and removed towels from the top of them. Cups were never cleaned. Glass in window was cracked. Manager was not helpful. Toilet rolls are left down stairs in the lobby on a first come first served. The whole place was dirty and smelly. The beds were made by a child or that what it looked like. The dining room was disgusting and used for storing tools and other items. It was very noisey the floor board creak a lot and walls paper thin so no peace. The tv was so small it was pointless. I have reported all this to Blackpool council. I have photos of the disgusting place. I don’t think the carpets have seen a hoover this year. After reading reviews online we decided against complaining as we 3 women didn’t like the idea of the manager being confrontational and calling the police on us. As an infection control and prevention practitioner I was totally shocked with the state of it

I wont be stopping here again i paid £100 for this room for 1 night the pics i seen b4 i booked this hotel are nothing like real life soon as i walked into my room i thought nope flys every where dead flys on window sill bin wasnt emptied cups wasnt clean bedding was fine and clean towles decor wasnt the best the bed itself was uncomfortable cleaning is deffo a must.. ive stayed in better places for less money ime disappointed

First there is no parking which is terrible you’ve payed for a hotel it should have parking Next the service was minimum there no information on check out breakfast I understand the hotel around Blackpool is old but they need a good clean up inside The room was very basic the bathroom was basic they must have been painting but it was all over the room we got looked over a dirt alley the bed was hard and very uncomfortable and every time we moved it squeaks the noise out side was horrible you could hear every footsteps going past had to find breakfast time on line as no information was given Breakfast was very very basic there was no staff except one to bring out Continental items out the croissant’s was burnt on the top the coffee was horrible it was like tap water there was no butter on the table had to wander around to find staff to ask the hotel need a big change it also had a funny smell in the reception There was no staff at night the floor bordered were extremely squeaky Definitely not been returning

Basic, uncomfortable bed
The bed was so uncomfortable as the springs were sticking out (room 1) either a new mattress or at least a mattress topper is required. Had 2 very poor nights sleep. On a positive note, room was basic but clean, (as expected) There was a musty smell in the room though. Breakfast was lovely, would rebook again if comfier bed was guaranteed.

Extremely disappointing
Room was certainly not like the ones on the web page. Avocado toilet and sink. No bathroom mirror. Mouldy shower. Paper pealing off the wall. Carpets filthy. Mattress - felt every spring. Most definitely not a three star hotel. Informed on check in no cooked breakfast, only continental. I really think this hotel needs a health and safely inspection and a reclassification of rating - unfortunately will not be back

The room was not as advertised ,it was a small double with bunkbeds added to make it into a family room . Bathroom beond dirty, ccarpet sticky, plaster flacking on walls, breakfast not verypalatable food very dry, male staff member rude , in a word disorganised caous.

Wouldn't bother....
Beds very uncomfortable, was advertised with entertainment on was nothing apart from heart radio, no draft beer only warm cans of larger, hot breakfast would off been easier if cooked myself, even the kids said best bit was the Coco pops. Won't be returning would rather pay extra for somewhere decent. Glad was there for one night only.

Not great, hotel only open Friday to Sunday which wasn’t clear on the website. Unable to leave bags on arrival on the Saturday and couldn’t leave on the Sunday as the hotel shut at 12pm. Bathroom corners really dusty. Not up to scratch for the £101 it cost. Also had to pay cash as couldn’t pay by card. Disappointing

Staff were friendly, rooms unclean
It was disappointing as the general cleanliness was poor, the shower was very old & not very warm. The mattress was very uncomfortable & the springs dug into me making it a bad nights sleep. The breakfast was basic. Would not come again. All the staff were really friendly & I cannot fault their kindness

The whole place could do with a clean, the dining area was filthy! There is a corner where it looks like stuff is just dumped. This is where people eat so if this is what it looks like in the public areas id hate to see the kitchen.
