We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. All of the information listed on our website is accurate, as well as the many pictures we post of common areas and guest rooms. We are centrally located in Lancaster County, near many of the Amish and farm attractions, theaters, shopping and restaurants. Declining the ear plugs was an indication you were not that concerned about the traffic, if you had asked about a change in rooms, we would have presented you with options, but you never asked. Yes, we observe 'safe' guidelines for guests staying at the After Eight Bed & Breakfast, including not refreshing rooms. I don't understand the "sterile" comment, we interact with guests as much as they participate, we have the home decorated seasonally and during your stay it was an autumn theme, with many cozy sitting areas throughout the common areas, I don't know how that would be described as 'sterile'. Our many multiple time repeat guests would not be returning if your description was accurate. Thank you for the one positive comment regarding our breakfast.
