Very enjoyable stay at the E J Bowman House. Diana and Scott do a wonderful job. This Bed and Breakfast house is highly recommended.

Scott and Diane are excellent host and hostess-friendly, accommodating, welcoming, outgoing and truly happy to have new visitors or welcome back old friends. Their big smile and amicable friendly conversation make us feel immediately at home every time we visit and their intimate knowledge of the Lancaster area always helps to point us in the right direction to see something new and different. The property is beautifully maintained and the 1860 house is in pristine condition. This along with the 3-course top notch excellent breakfast makes the B&B of choice in the Lancaster area. Scott-love the hat. Well done!

We enjoyed our 2 day stay. This B&B was even better than described on the web site. Diane and Scott were wonderful hosts and we look forward to returning the next time we are in Lancaster. P.S. The gourmet breakfast each morning was amazing, and they were considerate of my special dietary requests.

Exceptional Bed n' Breakfast
The hosts, Diane and Scott, went out of their way to make the stay perfect. They pay attention to fine details, such as snacks and a wonderful breakfast. The only thing that was a surprise is that the property is right on a busy street. We were in a room that faced the street but there was no noise because they had installed sound proof windows. I would definitely return.

This a beautiful and welcoming bed and breakfast. There are so many little touches that elevate your stay such as the beverage area, snacks and candies, robes for your convenience and comfortable seating areas. The breakfast was delicious and the host was kind and thoughtful. Our room was clean and well set up and the bathroom was updated and came with nice thick towels. The grounds were gorgeous. I definitely plan to come back!

If you like a B&B, STAY HERE!
A totally excellent experience. Hosts were gracious and welcoming. Room was well kept and well appointed. Strong shower and HEATED FLOOR IN THE BATHROOM! Breakfasts were a delight with a nice, diverse, flavorful offering. If we are ever in the area again, this is where we will stay.

If we could give it 10 stars, we would! Hands-down best B&B we've ever stayed at! Scott and Diane were incredibly friendly, helpful, and gracious hosts. Every little detail was attended to - from a warm and charming home, to wonderful coffee and treats during the day, to chocolates on the bed, to heated bathroom floor, to a puzzle to work on in the living room. Breakfast was served in the traditional way - at a table with other guests, absolutely delicious - and they cater to food sensitivities as well as likes/dislikes. Home is in pristine condition and decorated with love and attention to detail.

Wow! What can I say? Diane and Scott were marvelous from start to finish. They really cared about us and our every need, to make us feel like their place was our home away from home. I love it that they both sit down with us when we first get in and chat with us about our lives and theirs like we’ve been friends forever. They explain all the amenities that are available, and personally take us to our room to show us what is available there. The home’s inside decor was tastefully done with a sense of history all over. Their outside garden and fish pond were beautiful and well taken care of with flowers of all kinds, even a gnome garden! The morning breakfast was delicious and varied, and Diane graciously even made me hot chocolate from scratch! We have visited with them 4 different times and will come back again when we are in the area. My wife and I heartily recommend it to everyone!

Outstanding breakfasts and very friendly couple. Beautiful garden. I stay essentially for a place to sleep while part of my family was up from North Carolina with their kids. So didn't try or plan to get around very much, but I'm familiar with the area.

Worth Every Penny!
The rooms, the service, the owners, the grounds, the coffee bar, the cookies, all the LITTLE things make this place an excellent experience. Breakfast around the table was the best part...we WILL be coming back.

EJ Bowman House is a historic home in a quiet residential neighborhood. The house is beautifully decorated Victorian style. The home Is extremely clean and comfortable. The owners are most gracious and helpful. We had a wonderful overnights day with an excellent breakfast in the morning. Could not have asked for anything better.

My daughter and I had a wonderful girls getaway! A friend of mine stayed here last year and spoke highly of the place and its owners, and that's why I chose it. It's very clean, which was one of my concerns with staying somewhere during Covid. We felt very comfortable in our room, and in the entire place. The decor is so pretty and cozy, and we were able to make ourselves at home in any of the downstairs rooms. The breakfasts were amazing, and the portions were filling. Diane is an excellent cook and baker! The location is perfect, right between Lititz and Lancaster, and close to everything we had planned to do in Lancaster County. Diane and Scott are amazing hosts, and were able to answer any questions we had about things to do, and places to eat. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend the E J Bowman B&B to anyone!
