Nice hotel with room for improvement
The room was clean and modern and has a balcony with a beautiful view. Bed was too firm for me but that's a personal preference. The location is a short drive to restaurants so it was nice to have free breakfast in the morning. They also have a laundry service. You can also get dinner. I did not get dinner. However, dinner is on the courtyard so you hear all the noise from your room. I'm not sure if this is normal but there was a loud group of people who kept us awake past midnight. The quality of the staff was mixed. I think they could provide a map or offer advice for visiting the area. A kettle in the room would also be nice.

Skøn placering og dejlig pool!
Fantastisk beliggenhed, lige midt i en vidunderligt vinområde. Hotellets personale var utrolig venligt, men talte meget lidt (eller ingen) engelsk, hvilket gjorde det lige svært i starten. Rigtig fin morgenmad. Største minus, som dog også var betragteligt, var at deres aircon på værelset ikke virkede. Umiddelbart virkede det som om de havde slukket for det, da der var sat en propel på bordet. I august er AC et must i det område! Rigtig skøn pool. Ellers var det et dejligt sted!

The view and surrounding vineyards were great. The room was small and no air conditioning. The personnel could not talk any English, which made communications very difficult. Their payment system was somehow broken and credit card payment was difficult and took over 30 minutes to pay when we left.

Struttura moderna con belle camere pulite, alcune con un balcone strepitoso sulle Langhe. La piccola piscina offre un piacevole ristoro anche se potrebbe essere piu' pulita e curata. Basterebbe poco per rendere tutto piu' charmante!

Excellent séjour d'une semaine
Etablissement bien entretenu, tres joli point de vue sur les collines environnantes depuis les chambres, le restaurant et la piscine. Point de depart idéal pour visiter la region. Restaurant peut être un peu bruyant le week-end selon l affluence, mais tranquille la semaine. Je recommande cet etablissement a quiconque souhaite decouvrir cette magnifique région et ces excellents restaurants !

Bel hôtel avec quelques bémols
Un très bel hôtel perdu au milieu des vignes et des noisetiers du Piémont, cadre très agréable, joliment décoré , mais avec 2 bémols majeurs qui nous ont un peu gâché le séjour, à savoir la literie qui n'était vraiment pas confortable , nous nous sommes réveillés avec torticolis et courbatures, et ensuite la climatisation ne fonctionnant pas nous avons dormi fenêtres grandes ouvertes, ce qui pourrait être agréable, mais la fenêtre donnant sur le patio central où sont des tables de petits déjeuner, une famille de vacanciers très bruyant avec des enfants qui hurlaient à 8h00 du matin ont fini de gâcher ces 2 jours de breaks. Mais le personnel est très gentil, petits déj copieux bien que pas à mon goûts ( je préfère les buffets type anglo saxons- là trop de sucré pour moi ) .

Lovely family hotel
Looking for a small friendly Italian family hotel? This is the place! Lovely location with great staff that will do everything to ensure you a lovely time. We stayed here for five nights with our baby. The rooms are clean and fresh. Breakfast and dinners were great. The view from the the swimming pool is breathtaking. Daniela and the staff that runs the place solves all problems. The location is perfect for exploring the fantastic Alba wine region. We went to Barolo and other pretty villages. So, no need to worry, this is the place to be when you discover the region.

Gorgeous Serene Setting in Rolling Vineyards
We loved this little inn in the country in the middle of vineyards! The staff was very friendly & helpful, but only a few spoke any english (a little guidebook would help). Our favorite person by far was DANIELE, our most-awesome server. He worked so very hard serving us, & when we saw him working a special event on the patio one day. He was very friendly & talked with us. He helped us find a church, and restaurants that were open in the area, since we were in-between tourist seasons. The breakfast & the dinner was very good. We were limited to two hot drinks at breakfast, which equates to 2 small cups of coffee, which was a disappointment, since that comprises my breakfast & I don't eat. The setting was just gorgeous! We loved that it was out of the way from the busy but fun towns of La Morra & Barolo. We had the BEST wine tour at Giribaldi Winery in Rodella, a short little drive from the hotel. It was a highlight of our trip to the area! The local wines and farm-grown cheeses & vegetables/fruits are a must! We ate at several different area restaurants as well as the hotel & the food was all incredible!

Vue magnifique et hôtel de qualité
Super hôtel avec peu de monde. Une vue magnifique sur les collines et les vignes. Calme et personnel très attentionné. Points d'amélioration pour les plus exigeants : les insectes dans la piscine (peut-être dû à la saison). Cela ne nous a pas empêchés de profiter du lieu et des environs. Je recommande.

Struttura nuova ma con materiali non di prima qualità. Panorama strepitoso. Vicino a tutte le principali mete delle Langhe. Colazione a mio avviso pessima, tutti comprato e di bassa qualità, niente di tipico, nemmeno il pane è di un panificio, mi aspetterei di piu per un luogo cosi originale. Lenzuola non stirate, pessima sensazione. Servizio pulizia in camera non all'altezza, non è stato rifatto nemmeno il letto. Personale gentile e cordiale.

Posizione incantevole
La locanda si trova in una magnifica posizione con vista sulle colline, in una zona tranquilla e piena di verde. Bello l'esterno con prato piscina sdraio tavolini. Interni molto curati bel design e pulizia impeccabile. Il personale gentile e sempre a disposizione per le esigenze dei clienti. Grazie!

Tout etait parfait : l'accueil et la gentillesse des personnes, la chambre, tres bon matelas, la salle de bain tres grande avec une douche merveilleuse, la piscine, la vue, le calme, le restaurant, les petits dejeuners avec gateaux maison, figues, fraises, croissants, fromage, saucisson, cappucino... C est a coup sur le meilleur hotel que nous ayons fait.

Beliggenheten var upåklagelig. Store bra rom rolige omgivelser. Frokosten var italiensk. Maten forøvrig meget bra . Hotellet var behjelpelig med å kontakte en hyggelig vinprodusent. Fint uteområde med basseng.

Underbart hotell med trevlig personal. Fina rum, bra pool, underbar utsikt. Frukosten var mycket bra och anpassades efter våra önskemål. Wifi fungerade utmärkt. Middag i restaurangen skulle jag dock inte rekommendera. Vi var de enda gästerna. Maten var inte speciellt god och kostade ganska mycket.

Breathtaking views from a great hotel
Great location about 10 km out of Alba in Montelupo Albenese. Absolutely loved the hotel which is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and hazelnut orchards. The hotel has great facilities and the staff, especially Serena and Claudia are so welcoming and helpful. If your looking for a hotel around the Piermont area of Italy for location, breathtaking views, price and friendly staff, I highly recommend this place. 10/10 for me.

Perfect view
A perfect place for a quiet stay. Nice staff, good food. Small cities around. We had roadbikes for two days, and found many nice routes. The hotel connected us to a very good bike dealer which delivered and picked up the bikes at the hotel.

Fantastic for a visit to Barolo, Piemonte.
This fantastic hotel is very nicely located, modern with very nice rooms. It is perfect if you want to visit the nearby town of Barolo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Due to changes in our travel we had to have quite a few documents printed. No problem without hesitation and with no fees. You don't often get that sort of service for free. I'd recommend this place anytime and for sure stay there again if I go to Piemonte.

Location suggestiva, con una splendida visuale sulle Langhe (purtroppo per noi offuscata dalla nebbia), albergo confortevole, con stanze dall'arredo moderno ( a parte il riscaldamento, che non siamo riusciti a far andare)... Ristorante di buon livello, anche se un po' caro e con quantità limitate dei cibi nei piatti rispetto al loro prezzo (come del resto usano fare i ristoranti stellati) , e con una nota stonata (almeno per noi) : l'olio ( non extravergine) d'oliva Sasso servito come condimento per l'insalata ( ce lo siamo fatti cambiare!)...

One of the best experiences we ever had. The hotel is perfectly located in hill among The vineyards and with an Amazing view. There are Nice villages and great restaurants near The Locanda. The room is big, clean and very confortable. Daniela, The owner, is a very Nice person, giving Nice tips and suggestions. This is a perfect place to stay.

Wonderful!
What a wonderful place and a hidden gem in the Piemonte! We arrived early and our room was ready so we were thrilled. It was spacious unlike many rooms in Italy. The staff was very attentive and helpful even though some of the staff does not speak English, we were able to communicate. The breakfast was incredible and plentiful. Much more than a normal breakfast included with the room. We actually ended up eating every dinner at their restaurant and may I say "Fantastico"!!! Every night we tried different options and it was amazing. By all means try any suggestions from the staff and you will not be disappointed. They even gave us a bottle of wine as a gift upon departing. We will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GORGEOUS HOTEL!
We spent two nights at this hotel. It was absolutely beautiful. Everybody was fantastic and provided excellent service. Breakfast is awesome, with everything you can imagine; loved all the fresh fruit. We also had dinner two nights there and it was very good. Hope we can be back.

+ Toppen! Bra städning, bra frukost med italienska mått mätt. Mycket trevlig personal. - Hårda sängar (en smaksak). Ingen AC som vi hittade i a f. Inredningen i rummen kan man diskutera men det var väldigt rent :) Stället ligger i en fantastisk miljö men vill man inte äta på hotellet är man hänvisad till att ta bilen.

When you find an exceptional place then you have two choices, either to keep it to yourself or to tell others. I have chosen to tell others about this diamond. It has few rooms and fantastic surroundings. The staff is wonderful as the food. I will definitely comeback.

Outstanding service, good location
Amazing 5-night wine trip to Italy. Location of the hotel is very good, close to Barolo and Barbaresco wine areas. The views from the hotel are stunning. We had a couple of dinners at the hotel restaurant and food was very good. The pool area is also very nice. During our stay, the weather was extremely hot and the rooms were a bit uncomfortable since there is no air conditioning. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious, modern and clean. However, the best thing about this hotel is the excellent service. The whole staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Peaceful and nice hotel
We spent three night in this hotel and enjoyed a lot of our stay. The views from the hotel are astonishing and overall the environment provides excellent atmosphere to relax. The breakfast is decent and the restaurant performs well from its tasks. The hotel and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The only things that we missed during the stay were more English speaking TV channels and opportunity to do some gym exercises. Overall, we were very satisfied with the stay and we would recommend it to everyone.

Avevamo bisogno di un weekend relax...e qui lo abbiamo trovato! la struttura è molto curata in ogni dettaglio, personale giovane e sempre disponibile. La camera con vista sulla piscina e sui vigneti era pulita, nuova e molto bella. Colazione super abbondante e buonissima. La zona della piscina ben attrezzata e con una vista sulle langhe spettacolare...lo consiglio.

Bellissimo!
Ho prenotato all'ultimo momento ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. La proprietaria e il compagno mi hanno aspettato fino a tardi e mi hanno addirittura prenotato il ristorante a Diano d'Alba, visto che il loro era chiuso. La struttura e l'arredamento sono moderni e la colazione ottima e abbondante. La posizione è perfetta sia per prendersi un po' di tempo e rilassarsi sia per girare le Langhe. La seconda sera ho cenato alla locanda e ho mangiato divinamente.
