it was terrible. there were a lot of cockroaches, even on the bed. i complained about it but they just tried to spray the room with mosquito killer. i asked them to change my room but they said there was no room available, all booked. that was a lie... i think big roach hatched eggs then they became so many. i saw big ones and uncountable small ones... pls dont go!!!!

would stay here again no problem. large room with a balcony with a nice view which was a bonus. 25min walk to shops and bars. 20 ringgit grab ride to beach / resorts world. check out the blarney stone bar for sports. nice atmosphere

Lovely stay
The staffs are very helpful and nice. Room is comfortable with a balcony that I enjoyed a drink with my hubby. Spacious parking area. Quiet area. Hotel located nearby Kuah town which a few minutes drive away. Also got a small convenient shop. The hotel also provided car rental which I noticed is cheaper too. I didn't rent from them as I already booked my car with another rental service. Cars looks new and clean too Will recommend to my friends.

Nice quiet location, on-site parking, very handy shop as part of hotel to buy essentials such as water, toiletries and snacks, whole hotel spotlessly clean.

Value for money
There are flaws but for the price we pay, it is worth it. However, the management should rectify these flaws in order to get superlative comments. Things to look at could be: 1. providing a fridge in the room 2. better front desk service 3. a phone in the room 4. perfecting bathroom problems 5. better lighting in the room. 6. better sound proofing For what I paid, I am satisfied with my room. Most importantly, it was clean and no stench

Cheap and Clean Hotel Near Town
The motel seems new. It's worth the price we paid. We rented a car so we had no problem getting around. There's a supermarket next to the motel and karaoke/places to eat a short walk away. It's nowhere near the beach but I personally don't mind that. Room is clean but could be better as I saw a few (maybe 2 or 3) ants around the room. Good place to stay if you're on a budget and if you rent a car.

Terribly Noisy
Initial impression was good. Hotel is clean and includes everything you would expect (and some bonuses you wouldn't) for a hotel of this ranking. The big problem was noise. Sound proofing in the room is terrible. We stayed there 3 nights and didn't get a single good nights sleep. Noise came from everywhere. Outside in the corridor and from other rooms, on the other side, noise from the car park and inside the room itself, the air con continuously made loud clicking noises throughout the night. The second morning we were woken up by extremely loud and long (15 minutes) continuous honking and shouting. Didn't bother to see what it was as we were so tired. But the worst was our last night. A large group of people had checked in and taken up multiple rooms on the floor we were on as well as other floors. They spent the entire night drinking and smoking and laughing and shouting and tramping up and down the corridors visiting each other making no attempt to be quiet and holding an all night house party. This went on continuously till around 6 am, despite quite a few people complaining, so we got absolutely no sleep at all. To be fair, the presence of inconsiderate people wasnt the fault of the hotel, but management did nothing about it.

Reception Counter
Overall my friends and I had a good experiences at G Langkawi Motel, there was just one situation I met, the reception counter. When the moment I need to check in the hotel, the reception person was not there and there was no any bell to ring, I keep waiting there until some of the workers from the store beside realize me only the reception person came back. I hope that this situation will not happen again.

I booked 2 rooms. I was told that I need to display 'please make up my room' sign if I need them to tidy up my room. I put 'do not disturb' sign for my room but end up they still come into my room and clean the room. Luckily I bring all my valuable stuff. My parents do not hang any sign outside the room and thus no cleaning service for them. They go to the reception to ask if they could empty the trash but was not attended to.

Average overall! Quite good budget motel! The disappointment are we have to pay RM50 deposit per room key(2nd room key have to pay RM100 as deposit and so on) and no refrigerator in the room.

Fairly good for a motel
The location is fairly convenience if you had rented a car to tour around Langkawi. Easily drive to the motel with the help of Waze. It's located next to a mini supermarket where you can get almost everything from there. Next to the lobby, there is another 24 hours convenient store as well. The basic facilities for shower (such as body wash & shampoo), car park, water dispenser is provided. The room is complete with TV, air-cond, water-heater for shower, chair and dressing table. Lobby area and overall Motel looks new and clean but the room cleanness can be improved even more. The only thing I dislike about this Motel is the lighting of the room (is pretty dark during the night) and the baby croackche issue. It was a fairly pleasant stay in G Motel and I hope it will improved more in the near future.

Perks : -brand new hotel -good location if you have a car -good price for what you get -it has everything you need -comfortable bed -free parking Drawback : -next to the MOSQUE !! -no housekeeping (we stayed 4 nights) -shower and toilet almost at the same place ! -bathroom is not so clean -avoid rooms next to the elevator

This is the very first time I stayed at a motel. I think the location is good if you drive yourself. Value for money & friendly staff. Nearby café is great.

Decent motel with the price they charged
This motel is at quite neighborhood. Room is quite clean and looks new. Sound prove from corridor is not so good as you can easily hear the conversation or slap of door. Overall it's good considering the price they chraged

Extremely satisfied with the price paid
Just like others reviewed, this motel is more to hotel service. Even though breakfast are not provided, you can find food stall / restaurant nearby if you do have your own transportation. They cleaned the room everyday and maggi cup are provided everyday without fail. The pillows were the best, super duper comfy and the room cleanliness was good for motel standard. The only thing staff need to upgrade is the soundproof. That's all. The price is reasonable and overall its a good place to stay! Will stay here again for my next visit.

Value for money. Excellent service . Though location is not so strategic but overall is good. THere is a convenient store open 24 hours.

Value for money hotel with excellent services
A little way out from town or the beach, but the Hotel compensate us with many freebies like maggie, milo and nescafe . The front office staff were very friendly and go extra miles by showing us the interesting places. Room is spacious and clean. Shower sprinkler is big and water pressure is good . You pay 3 star price but got a 5 star stay.
