Despite and almost full occupancy, the front desk checked me in quickly and easily. They were very kind and expedient.
I'm only here one night, so it's not the biggest deal but about an hour after I checked in as I was getting ready for bed, I noticed that the rug really needed a good vacuum. There's a little bit of popcorn and some kind of sand or very fine pebble. It is a mile to the beach so sand as possible.
The one issue that really needs to be addressed, is the state of the AC unit. The vent, the filter, the blower unit itself, and the casing are covered in a thick dust.
The kind that only happens after months of faiure to do a proper cleaning .
I was turning the unit on and that's when I saw the very noticeable buildup. I have a pretty bad allergy to dust and mold and although it's only minor, I definitely feel the symptoms of the AC blowing all of that grime and dust into the
air.
There is some staining on the carpets in the hallway.
The only other minor issue is that even though I'm a Hilton honors member , The electronic key was never sent to me, even though I requested one after being prompted to do so.
it's not a big deal, but, It was a fair price and like I said it's only one night so I can handle it. if I needed another short one night stay, I would take this place. It's mostly just fine , but I would definitely have somebody come clean the unit for me and vacuum if I were staying longer
It's not filthy, but it's definitely noticeable
