They mandated $100 CASH deposit. I reserved that room as a non-refundable. Had I not found the $100 cash, I would have lost that room and been on the street. Afterwards, I was so stressed that I was going to get ripped off that I couldn't get a good night sleep where I had to drive all next day fatigued and exhausted. A simple VISA card would have done the job, but they wouldn't accept it and was rude in the process. Terrible experience.

Las Vegas is my jumping-off point to go hiking and backpacking in the Southwest with my adult daughter. Travelodge is some place inexpensive to sleep with easy access to the rental car return in Vegas. Previously, I’ve stayed at the other Travelodge in Vegas by the airport, which is being re-branded as a Day's Inn. This Travelodge was kind of scary. I made my reservation via Expedia, but upon check-in, I was required to provide a $100 CASH security deposit. Not a deposit on my credit card but cash. I was told I could use the ATM machine behind me in the lobby for a fee. They had a ceiling-to-counter plexiglass window with a one-inch slot to pass items such as key cards under. At checkout, they called security and made me wait while they confirmed that my room wasn't trashed or turned into a meth lab overnight before they would return my $100. Oh, and their version of a continental breakfast is an orange and a pre-packaged muffin that you'd find in a school cafeteria. This place is literally in the shadow of the Circus Circus Casino complex. Music cranked nearby late into the night and was still going Sunday morning.

Just kind of a dump. AND you have to pay $100 CASH when you check in. Then, before you leave, they go a check out the room to see if you stole anything. Just a real high class joint!

The property requires a $100 cash deposit when you check in which it says it will be returned given there is no damage to the room. I was rushing to a work meeting and later on realized I had forgotten to pick up the deposit. I called the front desk requesting if I can pick up the deposit a few hours late because of my situation and they declined. The lady on the phone was very rude and told me I should’ve read the fine print. When I checked in they never mentioned if I did not pick up the deposit by 11 I would not be refunded at all. This to me is stealing and this company should be ashamed that they have such poor customer service.

This place is not nice, but it is functional and everything I needed. I was only here long enough to sleep until going out again. I appreciate that the floor was tile and not a dirty carpet. The shower head was so low it probably hits most people in the chest. The TV was small. The other reviews are true and they require $100 cash for deposit, and you must specifically ask if you want it back or it will not be returned. With all that being said, the bed was clean, the Deuce is right in front of CC, there is a corner store next door, and Tacos Gordo is very close. I would like to stay hear again and plan to.

I did like that it was an easy walk from the main strip and was at the tail end of it so you didn't have to worry about many people. That being said, it was a bit off-putting at first that there were fees that weren't stated on the booking before hand.

The check-in process is chaotic and the seamlessness between 3rd-party booking (e.g., Expedia) and on-site check-in is bumpy. Waiting in the long line, I overheard many guests having trouble with their Expedia bookings. The staff did not demonstrate great customer service in these moments, fomenting a hostile atmosphere. The hotel requires a $100 damage deposit up front, in cash only and lists draconian "damages" on the back of the room door such as $40 for "damage" to the blanket. Meanwhile the facility upkeep is sorely lacking and many basics are neglected or in disrepair (e.g., our shower door had no latch and the door was therefore drifting open slowly at all times). We were issued only 2 pillows for a king bed, insufficient to prop up and watch TV for 2 people. When we called down to the front desk, we were vaguely told, "I'll see what I can do" but no pillows arrived. Finally, it's Vegas and tourists as a rule are out late and sleeping in, but we got an unannounced 8:30 call from the front office asking if we wanted turn-down service, and the room carts were out making noise early both mornings of our stay. To their credit, the morning staff were friendly and they have a helpful policy of holding guest luggage in their office on request post-checkout.

There was no working heat in my room. The window in the bathroom was broken. My room got cleaned, new towels, ect one day out of the 4 I was there. Generally, it was a decent place to stay, other than those things listed.

Run down. Decently clean but poorly maintained with broken drawers, safe, window. They collect a $100 cash deposit that you must prepare for in advance. It’s an ugly motel but the price was very low via Expedia.

They asked for a $100 deposit in cash only, but their atm was broken so had to walk to a nearby hotel to get the cash. And they charged $8.99 for me to take out cash. Who asks for cash deposits???

Buenos dias, le pedimos una disculpas por eso, hicimos uns investigacion, en nuestros records los dos primeros dias 24 y 25 se le dio servicio, el dia 26 usted no quiso el servicio, y el dia 27 usted tenia el letrero DD (do not disturb) no molestar y con eso no podemos entrar a limpiar la habitacion. Quisimos aclarar su inconformidad. Gracias. Saludos y buen dia.

The location was excellent in the center of Las Vegas strip. We requested a handicap room and both rooms were not handicapped accessible. These rooms need to be upgraded for people with wheelchair and or disabilities there are no handrails in the restrooms or in the shower they're not walking showers they say they are but they are not. The hot water does not last maybe 5 minutes not happy about that. I will not be coming back to this place.
