I and my daughter have been to this hotel 3 times. This time the rooms had been upgraded and it was even better. The view from the Zen room was fabulous and the general vibe is understated, sophisticated and relaxing. Its not a fun party place - although the staff are fun and always friendly. Its a beautiful place - fabulous natural surroundings and I will return next year. The only issue was with guests in family groups blocking sunbeds which mean that even if you get up early all the beds have towells on and nobody shows up until after breakfast finishes at 1030. There are notices out to say dont do this but there is not any real consequence for those that do. still this was not on every day and didnt really spoil our trip.

This is such an amazing hotel. It’s modern, clean, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are so helpful and friendly. It’s an easy walk into the town if you are able, otherwise it’s a very quick taxi ride. I have stayed at other five star hotels in Greece and this one definitely earned its five stars. We stayed in a sunrise room and it had all the mod cons that you would need. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was excellent. I really liked the fact that it had air conditioning and a fan in the ceiling in the bedroom so you could regulate the temperature to your liking. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely place
Extremely beautiful hotel. Wonderful food and the nicest staff. Room interor was not the comfiest. Also the wifi worked only at 1am. I had a good holiday here and felt relaxed. But it’s the little things that give any hotel their fifth star. Fruit fly invasion at breakfast isn’t one of them.

Nous avons passé 4 jours fantastiques dans ce merveilleux hôtel ! Nous avions une chambre resplendissante avec une double exposition (en ayant choisi vue mer). Je vous conseille de vous lever le matin afin de pouvoir voir le levé du soleil depuis la piscine qui est juste sensationnelle ! Le personnel est au petit soin, très bienveillant. Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés.

The hotel is excellent we stayed in the upper deck infinity rooms which were quiet and comfortable. An issue with the air conditioning was quickly sorted out. The staff are friendly and helpful food is excellent. The beach area and taverna are pleasant with stunning views. I will definitely return to this hotel.

An honest review
This hotel is not worth the money, nor it’s star rating for many reasons 1. The suite we had was on a lower level -like a basement. As a result the room was muggy, smelly and damp. 2. Pillows were terrible. We had requested soft pillows in advance which we never received. It is impossible to sleep with the pillows in the room. They are hard and thick, 3. There is no turn down service 4. As a result of the lack of turn down service we left used towels outside the room. These were never taken away 5. Lack of basic bathroom my toiletries like shower cap and cotton buds 6. There is an internal vent in the bathroom through which we could here every single word that was spoken in the neighbouring room. I imagine we could be heard too 7. Terrible bed mattress. 8. The Sunbeds are awful -they are old and sagging. 9. Overall the hotel is very run down with aged and dirty communal areas I regret the money I paid for this hotel. It’s worth half the price.

Great location near the city and the superb ocean views. Pool area and the beach are just awesome if you like to chill in the sun. “Upper deck” room we were given was not exactly what we expected based on the pictures, room was quite dated and didn’t have a couch. We were told that some of the rooms are newly renovated but this time hotel was fully booked. Buffet breakfast was very good but for the dinner we preferred restaurants in the town. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall the hotel was very good .Staff friendly and food good. My first disappointment was the gym. The Running machine and exercise bike were old and worn out and they were rusty. They both need replacing immediately as I actually didn't think they were safe to use. I also wasn't happy that you had to pay for bottled water in the rooms. Every 5 star hotel I have stayed in before supply bottle drinking water in the room and replenish every day. They were charging €1.80 for a 500ml bottle of cheap branded of water. Apart from that our overall stay was very good.

Amazing property in front of the sea (take "Ocean view" for an open view on the sea, while "Sea view" is for the view on the port side (partial sea view, then). I enjoyed the shared pool with my room for more privacy and loved the access to a beautiful private beach (it's a pity that some customers always reserved for the whole day their sunbed, though). The breakfast buffet is amazing with an extraordinary choice of local food. Definitely a lovely stay, perfect to relax.

Nice overall with some improvements needed
Overall the stay was good but overpriced. The service was great except for the reception (didn’t seem like they cared very much). The rooms were, at best, 3-star level however charged at 5-star prices. The best part about the property were the pool and the private beach.

Emplacement extraordinaire mais peut mieux faire !
Chambre Sea View à la place d'une Ocean View (payée)... Explication de l'hôtel : Il s'agit d'une chambre rénovée et donc plus chère... Je vous laisse apprécier... Petit déjeuner international de bon niveau, sauf pour ceux qui comme nous cherchons un petit déjeuner continental simple : Tout le monde n'apprécie pas les saucisses et le bacon au réveil. Intervention dans notre chambre à 8h30 le jour du départ, sans frapper (en clair : merci de libérer la place !). Pression commerciale ressentie sur les "à-côtés". Reste que l'emplacement est sublime et l'hôtel d'excellent niveau.

Minos palace is a very nice resort. The staff was nice and the facilities look good. Overall a great experience for a solo traveler but I wish they had more activities for everyone together so I could connect with some new people. I had a 30 minutes massage and it was really nice and relaxing. They even let me use the jacuzzi Althing wasn’t part of the deal. Due to coronavirus the spa was closed so I couldn’t experience it but the rest of the facilities were open. The only down thing I would say is that the dinner staff were so pushy about selling a drink to me and at my first time there they kinda pushed me to get still water. Obviously I could say no after all but it felt really bad to cancel on them and they know how to sell. This water bottle cost €3.30 (!!) not a reasonable price for water. I was really upset and didn’t purchase anything else in dinners after it. I felt used. If you sell drinks to the guests of the hotel that comes for their included dinner I would expect at least to have a menu with prices and details. Also there should be free tap water in the buffet which I didn’t see. So the next dinner I had to go back to my room to drink. That was annoying. Expect for this issue, everything was great! I might go back in the future.

3ème séjour dans cet hôtel. Carte des vins hors de prix, si on commande une bouteille de vin que l’on ne finit pas, impossible de la terminer le lendemain, dur quand 1 des 2 personnes ne boit pas de vin ! Déjà constaté en 2019 : quelques parasols (dans les rochers) et transats en très très mauvais état (c’est quand même un 5 étoiles). Des croissants au petit déjeuner auraient été appréciés. Le plus serait d’avoir un sèche serviettes sur la terrasse afin d’y mettre les maillots de bain et serviettes après la plage. Le petit bar des rochers était fermé..,dommage.

When we arrived, we got an non-renovated room which was not worth the money. After a good chat with the general manager, we got another room which was very nice and worth the price. The hotel is in a renovation phase of all old rooms.
