I mean you get what you pay for. I stayed for a week with no complaints. Shared bathroom isn’t the best and the shower could use updating but the room was perfect! Big room with a massive bed what else do you need? Breakfast every morning and a bar area with selective drinks with reasonable prices.

Booked for 7 days. Advertised as pay at the property and brekfast included, but they proceded to take the money out of my account the second I booked. When we checked in the receptionists was very unwelcoming and informed us breakfast wasnt included in the room i booked. I was asked every day what my room number was even though I am the one who checked in,after the 3rd day i felt i was being harrassed every time i left and came back. Spraypaint on the room walls, lingering odor and the heating is on a timer for nights only so your basically left to freeze during the day. I guess you get what you pay for. Wouldn't recommend it.

There was supposed to be a desk which I needed for work and there wasn’t. No other furniture in the Rio. Noisy throughout the night.

No tea or coffee facility in room. Stay at 2nd floor, elderly to walk down just to make a drink is not good. Double bed mattress is old and sprung. Only one pillow provided. Ceiling light 3 light bulbs but one left that work. No bed side light. No housekeeping, stayed 2 nights but room don’t get cleaned. Free parking, staff friendly and helpful. Location is great Stayed in room 16 2nd floor.

This alleged B&B was not en-suite as advertised. One had to walk down a corrider to go to tolilet and shower. Bed was had as a brick. One wardrope in room dated 1950's. Only i had already paid. We would have left. No breakfast was available from guest. Mo parking as advertised.

Séjour de deux jours et notre avis
Pour passer deux nuits, c'est acceptable. Nous regrettons qu'il n'y ait pas de tapis de sol, et de quoi poser nos affaires (vêtements), dans la salle de douche, bien qu'il y ait des porte manteaux fixés à la porte. Egalement, il n'est pas possible de prendre un petit déjeuner le matin, le week-end et les cafés n'ouvrent qu'à 9 h. Pour le confort du lit, je pense qu'il serait bien de mettre une nouvelle literie, on sent les ressors, pas génial pour le dos.

The Grafton House Hotel B & B - 3 errors in name
Breakfast was £5 extra per night which would be fine and they only told me when I booked in that there would be no breakfasts on Saturday morning. I paid for a breakfast for Sunday morning and was told late Saturday night that there would be no Sunday breakfast either. The only food they had was 1 small pack of frozen bacon. I did get my £5 back though. No tea making facilities in room but I was told tea and coffee are available downstairs and I can help myself to as many as I like, however, the 1st time I got anywhere near the room with the tea, kettle etc they reprimanded "Wooh, where do you think you're going, that's staff only." I had to ask them if they could make me a drink, yes they did make me one upon request but that is not the point. Add to that a communal toilet with a non-functioning electric light and no natural light either. I had to use it with the door open, needless to say I used it for standing purposes only. There was a licensed bar facility but that room was locked for the entirety of Saturday. My recommendation is that you remove 'The Grafton House Hotel Bed & Breakfast' from your website options.

Adequate for single night stay. Straightforward check in - helpful with taxi numbers. Clean cotton sheets. No frills, no bedside light, no tea/coffee facilities in room, single glazing so nightlife clearly audible (though not for an extended period). Did not pay the additional fee for breakfast so can't comment on that.

Cons: The room. It was a double bed, and my friend and I weren’t a good match. We asked if it were possible to change, but wasn’t possible. The room design wasn’t very good, as the room was quite bare, and the television didn’t work. We were only there for a night so we didn’t mind. It wasn’t very clean, the walls had a couple brown stains, and the closet a bit dusty. If you didn’t add the breakfast option to your hotel booking, you can’t change your mind, or pay for breakfast later. Pros: The shared shower looks clean, and the toilet didn’t run out of paper.

My friend and I booked in for an overnight stay. The room was spacious and clean. We didn’t book to sit in the room all night, it was just somewhere to sleep after our night out. It was both comfortable and warm. We were given the WiFi code at check in which was decent and there was also a tv in the room. We were also given towels and complimentary soap. There was a sink in the room with hand wash provided. Not the ritz but I’d definitely recommend it for price, cleanliness and location. Just a few minutes walk from the train station. The staff were nice too.

Certainly the best accom. in the area. Large warm and exceptionally clean room. Only thing missing was a tea making facility but that is not an issue. The breakfast was well prepared and very cheap and the staff were attentive and had a great sense of humour. Whole set up was perfect for my needs and the prices were very reasonable

It was a good stay but check out needs improving
It was good but really annoying having to go in and out the bedroom to go toilet but nothing major the biggest problem is the 10 am check out its terrible i had a train at 1pm so i had to leave at 10 and walk around for couple hours because couldnt stay any longer even when i offered extra payment

I have stayed here before, so that's why I chose this place again. Fantastic service. Very nice and helpful staff. Very warm welcoming. Clean and comfortable room. Small but convenient car park. Quiet area, close to the center.
