Great stay on the Camino
Beautiful house converted to top style. The bedroom and ensuite was big with a great balcony over looking the garden. It was spotless. It was help yourself to the breakfast with a lot to choose from. It's a bit out from the city (but on a bus route that runs 1 a hour) but worked out great for us as we were on the Camino and this was the right side of the city for our early start the next morning.

Beautifully restored home in a quiet location
We were on the Camino Frances when we stayed at this beautifully restored home in Columbrianos just outside Ponferrada. Our host was patiently waiting for us as we walked towards the house. He gave us a very warm welcome and told us a bit about the history of his beautiful family home. He spoke excellent English. The room and bathroom were both very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice view into the backyard from the patio which was equipped with a clothes hanger. This is very helpful when one is on the Camino. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items where we could help ourselves in the morning. Columbrianos is a very small town and we came prepared to make sandwiches for dinner. This was one of the best places that we stayed in during our Camino. Muchas gracias!

La casa es muy bonita, con todas las comodidades,
La atencion recibida excelente, nos ayudaron a planificar nuestro viaje facilitando informacion, la casa.esta estupenda con un gran patio con barbacoa, cocina con.todo lo necesario para el desayuno y el dormitorio muy bonito con un balcon con vistas estupendas
