Hotel fine/ Hotels.com is mismanaged.
The personnel at the hotel were very accommodating and lovely people. They helped with a few of the issues we had. The breakfast did not look substantial enough to warrant the price and the rooms were basically the size of a large closet. The bathrooms did not have any soap or wash cloths on the sink yet it was clean and maintained by the room steward quite nicely. This hotel was a second choice after our first one was canceled mysteriously probably by the hotel Eiffel Rive Gauche because we had booked at such a low rate. hotels.com did not verify a mysterious cancellation with us and we lost our three nights in Paris that would’ve been in a much better location. This hotel we stayed at was quite far from where we would’ve been originally booked. hotels.com cannot give us any answers as to why they can’t provide information as to who canceled our reservation. They offered $100 coupon which was ridiculous because the price of the rooms that we had booked out had gone up substantially over the year to three times the price. This hotel was the least expensive that we could find and had to serve our purposes although it was not convenient to the attractions we were signed up to see. There will still be some legal matters with hotels.com given that they allowed for a cancellation without verifying on any level with us. And when we did speak to them and told them that we had not canceled they said great have a great trip. But the room had been canceled and we were stuck.

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. It’s a nice walk to the Arc de Triomphe and there staff were great when we asked for extra towels and a hairdryer. Rooms are nice and cosy - only comment is that the shower in our room was really awkward to get into

It was not too far from the centre and was next to a metro so getting around the city was very easy and cheap. The only thing that wasn’t good was the water was lukewarm so you couldn’t drink it.

Poor customer service and rip off breakfast!
The staff were unhelpful.. would not bring more stuff out, I had to resort to finding things myself but couldnt.. after numours trips to the kitchen finally managed to get the 2 pancakes after showing pictures on my phone! I feel this was very poor and not what i would expect after having paid so much money for the buffet! I will be formally complaining to the hotel also! if you do happen to stay here.. stay clear of the rip of buffet breakfast!

Check in was ok, hotel is in a good location. Basic room as described, but the sheets were not super clean and the water pressure in the bathroom was pretty low. The major problem was that the AC in my room under the roof didn't work (they knew about the problem but didn't tell me at check in) and it was during the heatwave. The staff was rude about the situation, they weren't trying to find a solution until I started to lose my patience. They finally gave me another room. Five minutes later I overheard the staff complaining about me in the lobby. So unprofessional.

Do not stay there during the summer!
A friend of mine were staying for one night, and it was in the middle of a heat wave. The air conditioning in the room was on the whole night, but we couldn't regulate it. The minimum was 19 degrees celsius. Even though it blew all night, and made a lot of noise, the room was so warm that I woke up with drops of sweat on my forehead, my upper lip and it looked like I had just showered! I of course immediately went to do just that, but the bathroom doesn't have ventilation either, so as soon as I was done showering, I started sweating again. When I checked the air condition, it had stopped blowing at full speed like I had programmed it to do before going to bed, and it blew hot air! It still said 19 degrees on the wall reader, so needless to say I did not enjoy my stay. This hotel is ill equipped for warm days. Do not stay there during the summer. It was close to the metro though, so that was practical.

Cheap and cheerful
This was one of those hotels that you stay in if you are not really bothered about where you stay when you go to Paris. After all you don't spend much time in the hotel. Attention to detail was poor as there were many faults. Didn't really find the staff very helpful . It was situated in a quaint area thou if you look around. It was cheap and cheerful is my overall day on it.

Outstanding Customer Service
We had a fantastic stay at Campanille Paris Ouest. It is right by a metro station and is in a lovely quiet Paris suburb but still only 15 minutes into the city centre. What really stood out was the customer service. The hotel did us 3 massive favours! We stayed at the hotel on two separate nights, 2 days apart. On both occasions they allowed us to check in early and in between the 2 stays they let us leave a massive amount of luggage so we did not have to drag it to disneyland with us! We can't say thank you enough for being so helpful!

We travelled as a couple. first time at this hotel. Good Room size, The staff is professional and very helpful, The room is very clean, and the house keeping didn't touch any of our belongings. What I like the most is the less than 1 minute walk for the Anatole Metro station. Briefly, I will definitely stay at Campanile in my next trip.

Pleasant Hotel
We earlier booked for two nights but extended our stay to a week thereafter. The hotel environment is cool, devoid of surrounding noise. The location is fantastic as the Metro is just behind the block. The front desk team are friendly and pleasant. In all, you get value for your little resources.

Great find for Paris break
Our room was small but for what we paid we couldn't fault the hotel at all. Our room was spotless and cleaned everyday. We had plenty of towels, spare pillows, tea and coffee and shampoo provided. the room also had air conditioning which was great. The reception staff were very friendly and most spoke English, they even printed off some tickets for a museum we had forgotten to do before we arrived. The hotel is literally just around the corner from the Anatole France metro (line 3) which we took straight into the centre of Paris in about 20mins. Levallois Perret was beautiful with plenty of shops and restaurants and a lovely town hall with fountains. We would certainly book again!

The Campanile is handily situated next to the metro in a lovely area, has friendly staff and is very clean. However I would have preferred my luggage to have been stored in a secure luggage room as opposed to behind a flimsy screen next to the front door. Also the shower was so small that if you can fit into it, the control is in such an awkward position that you will constantly be accidently changing the temperature as you wash yourself. But as I said at the start you’re wanting a cheap, clean hotel with an easy commute it’s ideal.

Hotel smelled!
The hotel smelled terrible! I had to sleep with the windows open. Also, the staff spoke no English, the breakfasts were minimal, but expensive, the elevator was horribly small, it was a long way from the city. On a positive note, the rooms were very clean. I think the smelll could have been paint or even a cleaning solution. All of the rooms smelled that way.

Very good hotel - but reciopinst was not very good
Hotel very good- very good location and not too far from the City centre of Paris - good transportation also! However the receptionist was not very good- she didn't provide help regarding the charger and was unfriendly.

exactly what we were looking for
my friends and i went to see the tour de france finish at the arc de triomphe and we stayed at this hotel for the night. the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful and the rooms were nice. we will be staying here again!

A bit run down for a chain hotel company
This hotel was not that great. When we arrived a staff member was willing to bring our bags in…however spoke almost no English. The Wi-Fi did not work at first and then we were given someone else's room number to use which I guess didn't matter. The hallways are kind of creepy and dark. The room is very basic. The beds were huge, which was cool but at the same time left no space to move around the room. The bathroom was disgusting. Very poor maintained. There were black mold patches growing on the ceiling above the shower. Overall, the neighborhood was very traditional French but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. If English is your only language be prepared to have some communication issues (which I respect other cultures of course).

Excellent Hotel with room for improvement!
We stayed in this hotel for four days and the overall experience was great. It is located next to the metro station where we can travel to the centre Paris easily. Also it provide free Wi-Fi internet in each room however there was one night the Wi-Fi is not working for us. Internet speed was a little bit slow but more than enough for just checking email and news. Most of the staff can speak English but not very well. However they are very helpful and resolve problem quickly. The room size is also appropriate and fitted with air-condition which is good for the summer time.

Good hotel for a couple.
The hotel was "correct" as the Freench say, clean, efficient and the elevator was large enough for luggage and 2 or 3 passengers. Good breakfast on site.

Room was dirty and smelled like excrement. Bathroom was moldy. Ceiling was peeling away on some areas. Water heater in room contained rust and was useless for boiling water. Overall not such a nice place...
