Hotel was overly hot , short staffed. The first room we got assigned smelled like a sitting ash tray and there were cigarette burns all over the tiles . Changed room a little better bathtub was disgusting I wouldn’t let my four year old child bath in this. Was so ready to leave as soon as we arrived . I’m def not one that ever complains but will never stay here again.

The only thing we didn't like was our room was on the second floor which would have been fine, but no elevator and all the way across the building with two flights of steps. That would have been ok to, but my wife has congestive heart failure and gets short of breath easily making it pretty tough for her and was very unexpected.

There was no elevator and the stairway really needed updated the carpet looked really old and dirty . One of the rooms we used smelled like a cat had stayed in there and peed in the carpet . The second room we were in had tape down on the vinyl flooring they had put down , and the heater and ac unit was hard to get to come on and set and then back off

Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room and our kids really enjoyed the pool. Not too far of a drive to Red River Gorge area.

The breakfast wasn't great all prepackaged flatbread, no bagels, no hot eggs, sausage/meat. Pool was supposed to open at 8 was still "closed" when checked out at 9 am.

Bathroom and bed were clean. Comfy bed and clean sheets. HVAC dirty and not all features worked. Pleasant staff. Left before breakfast was available. Indoor pool was closed.

Nice place to stay
Very clean and comfortable room. It comes with a fridge and microwave. Nice people, vey helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was ok; waffles, an egg and sausage sandwich, cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal and milk and juices. Coffee was available at all times

Our room was a mess. Burned out light bulbs, no proper shower rod and curtain, loose toilet seat, slow draining sink, for starter. I’m not sure what was renovated in this place, I never saw it.

The staff was nice and easy check in, the room was clean air conditioner works, the pool is open and that's what my kids were most looking forward to, and I'll see how the breakfast is tomorrow but so far so good.

Loved that the pool was inside ans accessible during our stay. Hated that there wasnt an elevator, especially since i had two kids with me. Would stay again.

Only stayed here because every hotel around Slade was booked. No elevator; stairway / stairwell to 2nd floor is gross, Room 202 bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way, gaps around the main door room, clear tape on the floor where the laminate flooring either came up or to fill gaps, windows were water spotted dirty so it was hard to see outside, shower faucet dripped, round shower head flange piece not adhered to wall. Severely outdated and when we checked in we were told there was a $50 charge if we broke anything in the room. Took photos as we entered the room to document the floor, doors, shower head and shower drain in case they decide to charge us for stuff that was already broken. Other than that, we had a quiet stay, beds were firm & clean and room didn't smell old or musty.

Very little sleep...uncomfortable bed and noisy!
Our bed was uncomfortable, and at 3 in the morning the next door people had there tv up so loud that you thought it was you tv, called management.. must have woke them up and they said it would take them 40 minutes to get there to do something about it...Our stay was only one night thank goodness

The upstairs hallway was pretty cheap looking and unkept. The carpet was unraveling and the Exit sign is hanging by wires on the ceiling. I felt like we were in a No-Tell Hotel by the looks of the dark hallway. We started to go back to the front desk and ask for a refund before we went into our room and we were going to go next door to the Hampton Inn. Our room, on the other hand was nice except for the bathtub. The faucet wouldn't turn all the way off and the drain was rusty-looking.

We stayed here about a year ago and it was decent. There have been many upgrades since that time, and it was much more pleasant. Our room was very clean with plenty of room to move around. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and brightly lit.

They put me in a room in a wooden floor with no carpet in that room we have to complain and the staff didn’t treat me right until the next day they relocate me into another room that was quiet good but the first room they shouldn’t rent it to anybody and he charged me 50 $ to pay as additional fee for the other room he have me

As expected for the price
Decent for the price. Room was large and clean. Bed was ok, a little firmer than I prefer. Indoor pool was not heated, so very cold. No elevator to second floor. Hallway carpet was run down and second floor hallway was very dim, not good lighting. Breakfast was standard with cereal, waffle, fruit. Overall decent hotel for the price.

There was an issue checking in, apparently a lack of communication between the hotel and Expedia, but after several minutes and a very patient and helpful front desk the issues was resolved. Always keep itinerary # close by! Place was clean, our king room was large, updated building. There are or was, a small wild cat community not far away, on the other side of a fence, either like it or hate cats. Shopping and restaurants nearby, say, 5 min drive through local streets.

Fine for an overnight place to sleep
The king bed room is very roomy and comfortable but today when we walked into the room it smelled like someone was cooking fish. The room has recently been updated but the quality of the work is not great and especially the stairwell needs new carpet and fresh paint. Breakfast is ok but you need to add some protein like boiled eggs or even peanut butter.

Just checking in was not very good. The person on the desk was very unpleasant. She made us feel.that we weren't wanted . The carpeting in the hallway outside our room was filthy. The lighting was terrible in the bathroom. The over all lighting wasn't the best either. We will.not stay here again, and would not recommend this hotel to others.

Room was clean enough, but shampoo dispenser was empty. Bulge in carpet made it hard to open and close the door. Carpets in stairwells were very dirty and in need of replacement. Free breakfast was adequate, but had some poor excuse for orange juice.

My hasband and I stayed one night. Horrible experience. Ripped/tattered blankets, leaking tub, strong mildew smell through out the room, air conditioner kicking off and on loudly, uncomfortable bed, worse pillows and the breakfast was basically non-existent: microwave sausage peeta, fruit, cereal or toast, sour orange juice. Basically their new renovations was new paint.
