We're really glad to hear that the staff upon arrival were brilliant but we are most disappointed to hear that you felt you couldn't approach them about any of these issues you found during your stay. We would have been more than happy to provide you with extra towels should they have been needed and also to have moved you to another room if you felt it was necessary. We have never before received a comment that the ground floor rooms have smelt like the kitchen but we will, of course, look into this for you. All of our windows can be opened, and our radiators are all able to be controlled by our guests too. We have looked into the radiators and windows in the room in which you stayed, and have not found any problem with them but we will keep an eye on this and make sure there are no further problems in the future. We do hope this does not deter you from staying with us again in the future. Best wishes,

We do advertise we don't serve evening meals on our website and socials, however getting closer to the summer there is a possibility this may change, also we do have many local restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We don't advertise anywhere that we serve evening meals so I believe something may have been lost in translation. Upon check in you would have been made aware that on Sundays we do close the reception and bar at 6pm (this is advertised publicly too) and that for your security we do indeed lock the front door, but as you would have been told upon check in there is a 24 hour access side door to counter this, as your safety is our top priority. Good Afternoon, I would like to thank you for leaving us a review based on your stay with us and can only apologise that it was not all you were expecting. I would like to take this opportunity to pick up on a few on the comments that have been made. Upon check in you would of been told that the reception desk, along with the bar, does close at 10pm. We find that unfortunately there is just no need for the services to be open any later especially at a weekend. This is due to the fact that most guests are here to participate in events around the local area instead of staying with in the hotel for the evening so we find 10pm is enough to allow all check ins to arrive and for guests to have a quiet drink should they require. Of course we will keep this under review. However if guests do require a later drink, if they were to contact us before the desk closes we would happily leave drinks in rooms for your return. In regards to the outside lights, these are motion sensor lights and do come on once movement is sensed. As you have stated we were experiencing technical difficulties with our printer and were unable to print the usual paperwork for our guests. However we were emailing invoices to guests that required them and had a sheet available for our guests to sign and put down the car reg numbers, I apologise if this was not done for yourselves. We will however take all your comments on board and look at ways we can improve our services. We will also be sure to get our housekeeping team to get straight on the problems you mentioned in the room. We are very approachable and should you have mentioned your issues to one of the team we would of happily done all we could to rectify them for you. Kind Regards
