깨끗한 호텔
위치가 시내 주요 관광지 그리고 트램 타기 편리한 곳에 있어서 관광하기에 매우 좋습니다. 한 가지 아쉬운 것은 실내에 테이블과 서랍장이 없다는 점이고 그 외엔 깨끗하고 좋습니다.

The room was simple, yet modern and well decorated. The attention to detail, like antique tiles and access to a clean kitchenette was such a nice touch.

Getting into the building was a horror show. Luckily, a couple who actually got the email with the two codes let us in. We ended up splurging on the hotel next door after we barely were able to use their lockers (key jammed) to store our luggage while waiting for check in. We were tired, and not hearing anything back from the hotel. We couldn't even make calls as travelers from out of the country. The service was awful, especially considering how helpful the staff at the 5-star hotel next door were (this is before we booked a room). I swallowed the cost and we used it as a chance to live lavishly, despite not being 5 star travelers. I never did get a response back from Lisbon Old Town Guest House. Ironically, we were having coffee outside the "nice" hotel next door waiting for our taxi on our way back home, and I see two travelers struggling with the Lisbon Old Town Guest House door. I waited 5 minutes because I'm socially awkward, but it was clear they weren't getting into the door. I came up to them and said we had the same issue. I wrote down the codes given to me by the other travelers and felt a duty to pass it on. He showed me their email and it only gave them the door to get into the hotel on the second floor, and nothing for the main entrance (different codes). They were very grateful, but this is clearly not just a one off issue. If you're landing here after any type of distance travel, be ready for a major headache.

Entrance to the Guesthouse, to the room are all secured through a digital code. Makes it very easy to access and no hassle with keys. The Guesthouse is perfectly located near the river and close to the old town center, to a metro hub and lots of restaurants.

Great location. Easy check in with key codes provided for access to the building and my room. Shared kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. Property was on 2nd floor, no lift. Door to building and property needed to be pushed or pulled tight with force sometimes to make sure it was secure and locked. Noise in the building was quite loud with building work going on in other properties and other guests coming in and out of their rooms

Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. ÖV in unmittelbarer Nähe. Fenster sind leider nicht sehr schallisoliert. Verkehr ist sehr hörbar. Das Treppenhaus ist im Moment nicht sehr einladend. Wegen Renovierungsarbeiten staubig und geschmacklich nicht sehr gut.

Amazing & comfortable
Loved this place including the location. Quiet, very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. I actually found that it was not necessary to come change the bedding and all towels every day which is not as eco-friendly as other hotels where we have stayed. Hands down we would certainly stay here again when returning to Lisbon.

Perfect location
The location is incredible and you can walk to many attractions. The bed was comfortable and the linens of high quality. While the stairs were fine for me, it would be difficult for my mom. A warning to customers would be a good idea. I cannot wait to return for another visit!

This place is nicely decorated but it very noisy both on the exterior and the interior. There is poor insulation on the room doors so when anyone else enters the building or is in the common areas you hear everything. We ended up moving out as the other guests were partying all night and we couldn't sleep. With this location , it would be good if there was someone present to deal with noise issues or better insulation. I tried to contact the property owners and heard nothing back. There are better places to stay in Lisbon.

Bastante decepcionante la verdad, es un apart hotel sin personal visible, ubicado en un segundo piso (sin ascensor). El tamaño de la habitación muy bueno, linda vista, pero la humedad del departamento hacía insoportable el dormir, donde el equipo de AC era de muy baja calidad, lo que no permitía un buen descanso. Tema aparte el que las paredes eran delgadísimas, por lo que se escuchaba todo lo que pasaba en las otras habitaciones. Internet es un tema en sí mismo, ya que no tenía la velocidad mínima para una navegación decente. Un asco. La limpieza de las habitaciones buena, con días mejores que otros. Lo mejor: la ubicación. Está en medio de todos los lugares turísticos. En conclusión: no volvería a este lugar.

En svært behagelig overraskelse. Nyoppusset og delikat, svært sentralt og god valuta i forhold til pris. Felleskjøkken med god plass i kjøleskapet fungerte helt utmerket. Vil definitivt bo der igjen.

Everything was good except the air conditioner in our room didn’t work and it was hotter in our room than it was outside which is saying a lot. We were not able to cool down in the room at all and woke up sweating because it was so hot.

Enjoyable stay in central Old Town Lisbon
We enjoyed the great views from our room at the front of the building of trams, ocean and piazza although it was noisy at night. The room was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the shared kitchen with microwave, toaster, jug, fridge and coffee and tea supplies, although a toaster oven and tea towels would have made it excellent. The kitchen needs some ventilation as there are no windows, so careful if you burn toast. There's a large supermarket and chemist in a large train terminus some 5 minutes walk away and there's also a convenience store called Ali-Baba a minute away and a good coffee shop opposite.The only drawback is, there are a lot of stairs to get to foyer.There's no staff at night, but this is usually the case at a guest house, but you can ring the manager,David and he is responsive. The famous 28 tram pulls up numerous times right out the front. We would consider staying here again.

Perfect view and location
This was the perfect choice for a solo trip. The location is in the heart of the center and where all the action happens! If you are interested in the nightlife, I highly recommend this place. Although it is near the action, the soundproof windows make the outside noise disappear. There is also the view of the river, so you will see beautiful sunsets over the water. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Lisbon!

Nice central based accommodation. Clean and good value for money. Only issue was the shower drain got easily blocked and I ended up flooding the bathroom on one occasion but Cleaners sorted out.

Het Guesthouse heeft geen bediening ter plaatse, maar de informatie via e-mail (en zelfs sms voor last-minute info) was prima. Een basic kamer, maar voldoende ruim en kraaknet, met een erg mooi uitzicht op het plein ervoor. Vrij ruime en alweer zeer propere badkamer, veel beter dan in veel hotels. Gemeenschappelijke ruimte met plaats om iets te eten (microgolfoven, waterkoker, koffie aanwezig). Absolute aanrader voor die prijs!

Great deal!
The guesthouse was spotless, bright and very comfortable. The only downside is that noise carries through so getting a good night's sleep can be tricky for some.

Good experience
Very nice guesthouse with a secure system to come in building and enter room. Perfect central location, would definitely recommend to someone looking for a guesthouse. Completely renovated with spacious bathrooms. Very good first experience in a guesthouse... no regrets. No staff on site so you need to check your email the night before for all security codes to enter. If you get there in advance the guesthouse has lockers for your suitcases ... but dont forget to contact host for front door code and guesthouse code in order to be able to use the locker.

Great old town location.
Don't let the outside appearance of the building put you off, this is a great find, good price, and overall good place to stay. I was worried when the cab drove up because it looked like a worn out building. But the email instructions I received a few days in advance with the door code to the building, guest house floor, and room, was clear and precise. The guest house is on the 2nd floor (3rd for Americans) and as soon as I entered into the kitchenette area and then to my room, I was very pleased. The room was small but more than adequate, with private bath with a large shower. Everything worked and was clean, with daily maid service. There are six private bedrooms with private baths and a shared kitchen with a small refrigerator, microwave, and hot water electric kettle. The wireless was the best I'd had on this trip. I never saw staff, but when I called the 24-hour phone number provided, I got an immediate response and the service I needed (e.g., scheduling a cab for the airport for my departure). You have to be able to walk up/down stairs carrying your own luggage. If you cannot, this is not the place for you. If you can, then this is a great find. In one direction, it is two blocks from the Praca Do Comercio and in the other direction, its two blocks from a happening place in town with lots of restaurants and clubs. And, you're a couple blocks from the water. Directly in front of the it is a stop for the cable cars. Buses, cabs and tuk tuks are close by.

The location was very good, metro and train station 5 minutes away, the hotel was clean and nice with wifi BUT: there is a huge construction work going on right in front of the hotel on a plaza and they work even weekends all night long. It was impossible to sleep because of banging. Because of the size of the area this seems to continue until next summer at least. Unbelievable. This should be mentioned in advance and it should be seen in the price of the room as well. Big disappointment because of this.
